2016 Nail Resolutions | Overview

At the start of the year I set myself some nail related resolutions, if you don't read this post here. This post is just an overview of if and how I conquered by resolutions.

1. To hit 300 instagram followers. I am actually am on 344 instagram followers as I am writing this post. If you wish to follow my instagram I am @hayleysnails123. I would love if you can help me gain more amazing followers in 2017.

2. To try and use stamping plates - Hmm well at the end of year I used one of my festive plates. So I technically accomplished this one as I used it. But I have a lot of new plates that I can't wait to use so I hope you will be wanting to see those.

3. To do a successful gradient or ombre. - Well I failed miserably with that one as I completely forgot to do one of those. I am not sure if I will take it over to the 2017 resolutions. So I will probably just leave it around and maybe I can achieve it in 2017/2018.

 

4. Try some untried polish - I actually did the untried year, you will be able to see all about this in an upcoming post in the next couple of days hopefully I can get it up.

 

5. To do more nail art each month - Yes I accomplished that I actually did a nail art each month. I actually can't wait to do more, I may not be the best at it. But I am starting to get better and that really excites me. I have so many ideas and there are so many amazingly talented people on instagram that I can always be inspired by.

 

6. Blog More Often - I feel like I haven't blogged enough, but that will change I promise. January will be the new me ha-ha. That saying is stupid sorry.

 

7. Buy an A-England Polish - I did buy an A-England polish. I haven't worn it yet, it is saint George. I will be wearing it this year hopefully. I do have a lot of untried polish to wear.

 

8. Buy at least 4 indie brands - I bought picture polish, nine zero, cirque, freckles, danglefoot and ard as nails. So yes I achieved that one. I will be buying more because indies are always amazing. There are always new indie brands coming out which excites me.

 

9. To look after my nails more - This one defiantly will be needed. My cuticles are just rubbish at the moment. So this will need to be remembered.

 

10. To buy a Kbshimmer polish - I am so disappointed that I didn't buy one. I wish they were more available in the UK. I aim to get one of these in 2017.

Ciate Advent Calendar | Days 8 - 14

This is the second post of my Ciate advent calendar. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I actually have a few posts planned for the new year. 

On day 8 it was pool party. This is such a beautuful blurple. I have already decided I am getting the bigger bottle. The next polish is a treatment called status grow. This is a treatment which helps your nails to grow, I don't think I'll get much use out of this as my nails grow super quick. But I do like that it has a ruler there. Day 10 is a beautiful polish called risky business, it shimmers to all different colours. I've never seen a polish like this before. Day 11 was a beautiful dark green more like an emerald green. In the colour La Dolce Vita, I love this already. On day 12 it's a beautiful silver glitter topper called Fortune Teller which I love and can't wait to wear it maybe sponged on my nails. Day 13 is Ibiza Blues a lilac/lavender beauty. I love these types of colours on my nails, perfect for spring. The last polish in this post is pretty as putty, the name confuses me. I was convinced it was pretty in puffy when I first got it oops haha. So I have one post of the last 15-24 polishes then a post on my favourite polishes.

Haul | Rainbow Connection

I've got a rainbow connection to show you. I completely forgot to post it, it arrived last week. 

I got two Nine Zero Lacquer which is the brand created by youtuber jessface90. She knows so much about nail polish and I love watching her. I got cat in the Christmas tree, this is a deep green perfect for the Christmas month. The other one I got is jack- o latern juice. A beatific orange crelly with black squares running through it. The last one is Cirque Colors Halcyon. This nail polish is so well talked about I knew I needed to go and get it. There was a 4th polish actually but it is currently sitting on my Christmas tree ha-ha.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. LA Colors - Craze - I am not sure if this polish has been used already in my wishlist. As everything looks similar. But I couldn't find a good picture of it at all. It is like a neon glitter topper.

 

2. LA Colors - Electrified - This is a shimmery red. This would be perfect for the Christmas months. I am not a fan of reds as you all know but I even would be interested in getting this. This would look so pretty with some nail art, it does look at bit like China Glaze Ruby Pumps actually.

 

3. LA Colors - Current - This is a really pretty light green. I really love this colour. This is like a zesty lime. I woild really love to get this colour as I feel this would be absolutely perfect for the Halloween months.

 

4. LA Colors - Circuits - This is just a black polish. I know us nail bloggers always needs a new black polish. I for one know I do, I am always going to try and get more. I can never stick with just one and at the moment, the one I have isn't doing it for me neither is my white ha-ha.

This is my first Christmas nails, hasn't this gone so quick. 

I used W7 Polar Nights, this is a minty green with silver flecks running through it. It was quite a streaky formula I could have done with another coat on it. I really like this polish but I'm not sure if the silver flecks come through. The glitter topper I used was W7 It's Christmas, this is a beautiful glitter. It is green and red bar glitter, with small glitter flecks in different colours like gold, red and green. There is also small hexes in silver, green and red. I really love this and I wish it was acceptable to wear it all year round. 

Collab | My Nail Polishes First

I am here today which a big post, this is actually a collab. I wasn't originally in the collab but I asked Clare Gray who created it if I could do a blog post about it and she said yes. So here I am. If you want to watch Clare's video it is here.

1) First OPI - I am not sure that this is my first OPI. But I am taking a guess that it actually is. This is OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know. I do love brown nail polishes that's probably why I bought this one. It is so pretty and I do have a ever growing OPI collection.

 

2) First Essie - The first Essie polish is Angora Cardi. This is actually one of my favourite nail polishes in my entire collection. I absolutely love this, it actually could be a one coater but I usually prefer having it with two coats.

3) First China Glaze - My first china glaze was White On White. I actually got this in one of my nailbox. I know its quite a boring colour really. But I do like it, it may not be the best of whites which is frustrating. I know we always look for that perfect white.

 

4) First Home Country Nail Polish - I chose BarryM. BarryM is one of the biggest UK nail polish brands. I love them and I have to admit they are my favourite brands. I chose BarryM Berry Ice Cream, I am not sure if this was my first BarryM. I absolutely love this nail polish and I love it.

5) First Indie Polish - Okay I am not sure if this is classed as a indie polish. But it is Picture Polish Ornate. This is one of my favourite polishes, I love it. Picture Polish is slowly becoming a brand that I feel everyone has one of ha-ha. But it is so amazing, I may need to get more of these polishes in 2017. As if I need anymore polishes oops.

6) First Holographic Polish - Can you believe it I only got this one this year. I have seriously missed out on holographic polishes. So I will be getting so many more in 2017 I hope so anyway. This is Natural Collection Stardust.

 

7) First Glitter Topper - My favourite glitter topper is Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch. This is actually one of my all time favourite polishes. I feel this goes well with so many polishes. I may need to get a back up as I don't want it running out.

8) First Nail Art Tool - My first tools were nail art brushes. I actually got these ages ago. I have to say that I am not sure how I use them or even clean them oops. I am not the greatest when it comes to nail art but I am getting there.

 

9) First Base Coat - My first base coat was Superdrug Base Coat, Strengthening and Nail Growth. I have no idea why I still even have this, I cant remember the last time I used this. I am clearly keeping this for sentimental reasons.

10) First Top Coat - I am pretty sure I have never used this. I am so bad at this. I am going to use this with my next manicure actually as I am not a fan with mine. This is Miss Sporty Clear. I suppose I could use this as a top coat right.

In my opinion this is a nail fail. 

I have always wanted to do hedgehog nails. I actually have hedgehogs in my garden, so that's why I thought it was best I chose to do my nails for them. I used Models Own Hot Chocolate, I am so in love with brown nail polishes. The hedgehog doesn't look like one, it looks more like a little hamster. But I will try again and not give up.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. LA Colors - Zest - This is a pastel yellow. I am really not sure how I feel about this. Why did I even put this polish in my wishlist. I am not a fan of yellows so its pointless really. I also feel like you need every colour in the rainbow when it comes to nail polish. So I may still have to go and get a pastel yellow.

 

2. LA Colors - Orange Crush - This is a strange coloured orange. It is more like a cheesy kind of colour which is a really strange one. It looks really cool though. I need this and I can imagine a lovely gradient coming with this.

 

3. LA Colors - Fruity - This is a cool glitter. I haven't seen one in this colour before. I think it is in a clear base, it has pink, yellow and green hexes. This is all neon glitters. I wish I was able to go and get them in the UK and this would be one of those.

 

4. LA Colors - Palm Tree - This is my favourite kind of greens. I need this so much and it is so pretty. This would look absolutely perfect with some long nails especially at the Christmas.

 

5. LA Colors - Frou Frou - This is an absolutely beautiful glitter. I love this and I am a sucker for glitters especially colourful ones. I really hope I can go and get this one.

 

6. LA Colors - Wonderland - This is also like frou frou, but it is in a deeper base I think. I really like this one. Again I am going to need to get this because it is beautiful.

Ciate Advent Calendar | Days 1 - 7

So this year I have finally got round to posting about my ciate advent calendar. This is the third year I have got this. But as usual I am a lazy blogger and I completely forgot to do it. But I have given myself a big kick up the behind and I will start posting.

 

On day 1, I got Goal Digger which is a beautiful rose gold foil. I really like rose gold and I haven't got many rose gold polishes. On day 2 I have Boudoir, I don't like red polishes so this one I am not sure how much use of this I am going to get out of it. But seeing as it is Christmas I get some use out of it. Day 3 is seas the day, first of all what a great name. I love green polishes as you know so this is perfect and I am happy to use this. We have day 4 now and its iced frappe, this is the perfect nude. It is great for that simple nail look or for an interview. The 5th day and it is a top coat. I needed a new top coat actually so I am glad I got this. I hope this is good and I can get a bigger bottle. The 6th day is lucky 7, I am in love with this nail polish and I think this is my favourite one yet. I have day 7 and this is all that jazz. This is a super glitter. I actually got this all over my hands so I was like covered in glitter.

I absolutely love this nail polish. 

This is New Look Aubergine, this is so pretty. I am so happy that I finally wore this. It is a textured polish, I'm not keen on texture. I used a really bad top coat which didn't even make it smooth. I'm not sure if I'll be using it again. I think I'll just stick to good old seche vite. But I love this nail polish and hopefully get some more from new look.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. LA Colors - Dimple - This is a really pretty coral/orange shade. This polish would be absolutely perfect for spring and even in summer. I am really impressed by this one.

 

2. LA Colors - Beach Babe - I actually put this on my wishlist because I went to Westfield and that's what I bought. So this is why I put them on my wishlist. This is a pretty minty shade. I really like mint shades and I possibly have so many in my huge collection.

 

3. LA Colors - Gloomy - This is a light blue and it would look really pretty in the winter months as this is like a winter blue. I need to get this even though I haven't been to Westfield.

4. LA Colors - Punk - This looks just like a neon green wow. I absolutely love the look of this. This would look perfect for summer, I need to go and get this now. I wonder if it is opaque in two.

5. LA Colors - Razzle - This looks like a deep purple and I believe this would look perfect for the winter months as purple is usually in then. I am sure there are so many other brands that probably do this polish.

Haul | Collective Haul

It's December! I didn't know until yesterday that blogmas was a thing. So next year BLOGMAS is going to be a thing. I am already excited about Christmas posts. I am hoping to do a lot of posts this month. So keep looking out for it.

I kind of went a bit spendy spendy, but who doesn't want to buy new nail polish. First of all I have BarryM Twinkle Twinkle, this is a rose gold beauty. I am so excited to get this on my nails. I have a polish from Collection Strawberry Gold, this is a stunning polish. It is like a foil polish, it mixes from a brown to a bronze with that flash of red ginger coming through it. The other polish from Collection is Jungle Fever, I am such a fan of green nail polishes as you know. But wow isn't this an absolute beautiful polish. This would be perfect for summer. I then went in Wilko's and bought a few essence polishes. Essence is a great brand. I have Essence Frozen Kiss, I already have a manicure in mind for this polish. It is a white like crystal glitter. The gold glitter is on air! this is super pretty, I think BarryM had a polish like this before. The last Essence polish is Jeans On! This is an incredible polish and I need to wear this next year sometime.

I'm back with another currently wearing. Let's get into the polish. 

I'm wearing Tanya Burr Cookie Cutter. This was one of the polishes she bought out last year. I was excited to use this. But when I started painting I was a big like oh. I originally thought this was in a brown base. Then I would have loved the polish, it's in a clear base. That is super hard to get off. I mean I liked it, but next time I will be wearing it over a brown or something like that. It is a nice glitter but the smell was slightly off putting.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. L'Oreal - 213 - Sassy Pink - This is a beautiful Barbie pink. I think this is the definition of a Barbie pink. It is so pretty. I really like this. I mean you can never have enough pink polishes can you. I have only one L'Oreal polishes and it was actually a glitter topper.

 

2. L'Oreal - 302 - Okay I'm not sure why this is in the wishlist. I don't really like yellow, I feel its an odd colour. But when the time comes I will have it in my collection. That probably makes zero sense, but you may need to get some.

3. Essie - Capri - This is a really pretty orange/coral shade. I really like this, I feel this is an old Essie as I haven't seen it. I mean it was probably before I was really into nail polishes. I absolutely need this as it is gorgeous. This will be perfect for summer.

 

4. Essie - Pink Glove Service - After seeing swatches of this, I'm not keen of this. It is super sheer, I hate sheer polishes. I really should look into polishes before writing it down. So scrap this one. I will I could pull of sheer polishes but I have a few dents in my nails.

 

5. Essie - DJ Play That Song - That polish is beautiful. I really love deep purples, this would be perfect for winter or the start of spring. I absolutely need this polish, I will hope to find it maybe on fragrance direct. I love this polish.

First of all I have to start this post of with an apology, I have been slacking. There hasn't been many posts recently. But I promise you I'll have a few planned in December.

Enough talking Hayley haha. I have been wearing a Rimmel Hottie Choccie. I absolutely loved this polish, it's from the super gel line. I have decided I need every polish from this collection. I knew I needed this when I saw Veryemily swatch, her swatches are incredible. This polish reminds me of chocolate orange because it had orange flecks running through it. I think it's fair to say I love this polish, also it was two coats.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. Essie - Dive Bar - This is such a gorgeous polish. I have never seen a polish like this before. It is a metallic green or even turns into a bluey shade.

 

2. Essie - Warm & Toasty Turtleneck - This is one of my favourite nail polishes this year. I absolutely love this, this is such an odd colour. I can't even describe what colour it is. I'm going to say it is like a lilac. I really love it and I have worn it already.

3. Essie - Parka Perfect - I have this polish and I think this would be the perfect nail polish to be wearing soon. I think this would be great for autumn/winter. I think its a blue toned grey and it is so so stunning. Who knew a grey would be so nice.

 

4. Essie - Vested Interest - This is a polish I haven't seen before. I really like this, it is quite similar to parka perfect in a weird way. It looks like it has got a drop of green. I need to get this because I just love it.

Clairestelle8 Nail Challenge | October 2016

This is an overview of my Clairestelle8 nail challenge. I absolutely loved this Halloween challenge. I am so happy that I actually completed it first of all.

               
I also branched out and chose lots of designs that I wouldn't usually do for Halloween. I cant decide what design I love and which one was my favourites. I also used all my untried nail polishes. I have to say I got so many compliments on my pumpkin nails, it makes me smile when someone says my nails look good. I am someone who doesn't think they are great at much. But that defiantly made my day.

TAG | Desert Island Polishes

I have another tag post for you today, which was created again by the fabulous Mrs Cronall on YouTube. I suggest you all go and watch her videos, click here. If you remembered she created the Breast Cancer Awareness pink tag. So here is another tag.

 

This tag is what polishes would you tag on a desert island with you. I have to say, buy this was tricky. I have decided I would just pick some favourites and colours that I loved wearing. I will go through every polish for you.

The first polish is Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch Glitter, this is actually my favourite glitter as a topper of course. I love this over any colour, I am thinking do I need a new bottle of it as I don't want to run low. The last time I wore this was for my Halloween nails, look at the post.

 

The next polish is BarryM Guava (post here), this is one of my all time favourite nail polishes. I absolutely love it. BarryM done a great job with Gelly Hi-Shine's and I wish I could get every single one. Guava is a really pretty turquoise shade. This is perfect on long nails and maybe with some nail art.

I absolutely love this polish, this is the reason that I need so many more picture polish. This is Picture Polish Ornate (post here). I suggest you go out and check polish out as it is so incredible. This would look great in a desert island though.

 

I have to admit the next polish would look great in the sun, wow this would be super shiny. This is Natural Collection Stardust (post here). This is such a great polish. its stunning and super cheap as well. They actually don't sell this anymore, I was planning to get a back up but I cant find it anywhere.

 

The next polish is one of my favourites, this will be great on the desert island if I am on there for months until Autumn. This is such an autumn polish. This is China Glaze Cabin Fever (post here). If you haven't picked this nail polish up, you need to. It is incredible.

I have Models Own Blue Glint (post here). I wore this polish just as I was starting wearing my blog. I kind of wish I wasn't in the untried year so I can wear some of these beauties again.

Now this may be my favourite polish I ever own. Its super beautiful and periwinkle polish. Its Seventeen Azure Amore (post here). This is so so beautiful. I could talk about this all day to be honest, it is stunning also super cheap.

 

The next polish is OPI I Have A Herring Problem (post here), I am covering all bases for this desert island. I have so many options. This is a greyish blue shade. Its really pretty and kind of unique to my collection just because I haven't seen a polish like this before.

 

I have another BarryM polish, BarryM Cardomom (post here). I do love green polishes and this is one of my favourites. It is gorgeous. This goes perfect for autumn in my opinion. I wish all brands had colours like this.

The last polish I have was only worn very recently and this is Essie Warm & Toasty Turtleneck (post here). I was surprised how much I loved this polish, it is so pretty. I am so happy that I finally wore it because it had been a while since a polish fell into my favourites so soon.

I also am hoping that I could bring my base & top coat. The base coat I would have is Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary and top coat would be Champneys. I would also have Nivea hand cream because you always need one.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Essie - Jingle Jangle - This is a really pretty metallic. This would be perfect for Christmas. I absolutely love this and I would love it. This would be something pretty cool, I don't know if I am actually able to get this anymore as it was from a rather old collection.

2. Essie - Double Breasted Jacket - This is a really bright pink. I really need this, I mean I have so many pinks but this is good. I suppose there are too many pinks in an Essie collection. I do like this though.

 

3. Urban Outfitters - Holographic - I have never seen urban outfitters polishes before, so I pretty sure I put this in because I remember watching a vlog of Louise (Sprinkle Of Glitter) and they were buying this. I do love holographic nail polishes, it is so beautiful. I need this in my life, why can't I get this.

4. Urban Outfitters - Bonjour - This is a white crelly base polish, this has got speckles of red, blue and silvery ones I think. I really love this, I am still yet to try crelly mixtures. I will have to go and get crelly polishes because I need to get some.

This is the last of Clairestelle8 Halloween challenge.

This prompt was just Halloween, we were aloud to decide on any nail art this time. I chose Frankenvamp, this was inspired by the amazing OneToRuleThemAll. I love her she is just so so taleneted. You should defiantly go and check her blog out. I know I am not the best at nail art, but I have defiantly improved. I love this look and wish it was acceptable to wear Halloween nails all year long. I used Ciate Knee Highs, which is a beautiful blue which needed two coats. Ciate is a brand which I will try and wear lots next year, I have so many planned ideas in my head actually.

I have another prompt for the Clairestelle8 Halloween challenge. I am slowly catching up, I may actually be on time with my nails for once. How shocking is that ha-ha.

I had an idea ready for this prompt and was all ready to do it, until I saw a post on instagram and knew I needed to do it. I absolutely knew it had to be funnybones. If you aren't from the UK you may not know what funnybones is, they were an educational science TV programme and books. We always used to watch it in Science, looking back at it now that was probably the only reason why I liked science back then ha-ha. But I used AVON Grey Cement, which I really don't like. It was supposed to be a matte and it just cracked completely. I am so annoyed as I really wanted to love this polish. The nail art went really well, it looks super cute. The yellow pieces are meant to be a moon and star. I will be working on them ha-ha.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. Topshop - Air Kisses - I actually own this nail polish already, I think this is such a beautiful cornflower blue. I have used this before and I liked it but it chipped really easy. I need to get more Topshop nail polishes.

 

2. Topshop  Never Been Kissed - This is a gorgeous purple metallic nail polish. They have so many metallic nail polishes that they brought out recently. I wish I could find it but they seem to sell out of these.

 

3. Topshop - Tropic - Okay I cant find this nail polish anywhere. So this is so pointless to be mentioned. But I couldn't find swatches of it anywhere, I may have got the name wrong or something, It isquite weird as I'm usually quite good at nail polishes and stuff. But this time I just got it wrong.

 

4. Topshop - Birthday Suit - This is a cool toned blue/green. I'm not sure if the name of this works as I was thinking birthday suit would be better for a nude, for example a naked nail. But anyway, it is really sweet and would be great for an Easter look.

The prompt for Clairestelle8 Halloween challenge was witches. This is so cool, I was inspired by someone on instagram. I actually went to a wedding this day so I kind of didn't want to go too over the top. But I really love this look. I used Essie Warm & Toasty Turtleneck, this may be one of my favourite nail polishes I have used this year. This is a really creamy nail polish and I used two coats. I absolutely love my little witches boots they look really cute.

Here is another prompt from Clairestelle8 Halloween challenge, I really love this one.

 

The prompt for this one was bats, I used Flash Mob Lacquer Deep Space, this is such a unique polish in my collection. I absolutely love it, its so pretty. When I applied the first coat I really didn't like it, I was like no way is this going to get fully opaque. But after three coats it did. I got this from my nan it was a three piece nail polish set, I've recently discovered that you can get these in Argos. I would suggest that you go and get them. I also think my bats are so cute, also to say that I'm so impressed with how good they look. This nail art challenge has been so good because it has really improved my free hand nail art skills.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. Topshop - Marshmallow - This is such a gorgeous pink, I haven't seen a pink like this before. I really love this pink and I need this one so much. It has such a pretty shimmer running through it, I wish I could find this. But I am not sure if they sell this anymore.

2. Topshop - Sweetie Belle - I have no words for how beautiful this polish is wow. I need this so much. The next time I go to topshop I am going to get this because I need it. I have never ever seen a polish so pretty like this.

3. NYC - Picnic On The Lawn - Wow this is a beautiful green, this looks just like the lawn. I need this one so much. NYC haven't got many polishes in my superdrug which is really annoying. I haven't got many polishes from NYC but I love all the ones that I got.

4. Models Own - Cerise - I have this polish, I am not sure if it the same in the picture. I really love this and I cant wait to see if I can go and stamp with it.

5. Models Own - Mauve - This another polish that I have which is from the chrome collection. I can't wait to use it and see how well they come out as I have heard good and bad things about it. I cant wait and I will make it my aim to wear one of the chrome polishes next year.

Haul | Sally's Beauty Supply

So on Monday, I went to Sally's Beauty Supply. I was away for a weekend and there isn't a sally's closest to me that isn't a trade shop. I told my dad how much I wanted to go and he took me. I am so grateful for having parents that understand my love for nail polish ha-ha.

I didn't go super crazy that I know that I could have, but I will make sure that I go to one closer to me if I can find one that is. I got Color Club Nail Art Striper in Solid Silver which was £4.99. Silver is a colour I know I will get a lot of use out of. I have so many cool ideas already for it, I have also never used a nail art stripper so this could be fun ha-ha. I grabbed a OPI Avojuice in Holly Red Hand Lotion which smells so good, this was £2.50. I am guessing it is just a hand cream, I just fancied picking one up. This will be great for my nails.

Now onto the polishes - the exciting part!! I picked up OPI My Private Jet, I have seen so much about this polish so when I saw this in the clearance section I was so excited. I grabbed this for £3.60, what a bargain. I now need to get round to wearing this. The next polish is China Glaze Heroine Chic, this was quite expensive £6.99. I wanted it so I thought why not treat myself, this is from the Rebel collection. The next polish is OPI I Sea You Wear OPI, this was £2.50. I haven't heard of this polish or seen swatches so I just picked it up. I cant wait to wear it. The last polish I picked up is one that I have always wanted. Its China Glaze Grass Is Lime Greener which was £2.16 wow. I am so excited to use this.

The prompt for the Clairestelle8 Halloween challenge was Skulls.

Who said Halloween is only ugly pretty colours. I thought lets change it up a bit and have some pink in it. I used Invogue Sugar Daddy, which come in one of my nailboxes. This is a really nice colour, it is just your simple pink and not very exciting really. But it took two coats, I really love it though. This is a little messy that's the only thing, I am getting better at nail art. My little mini skulls look like baby jellyfish though ha-ha. The bigger skull is good though I feel. I also really love the crossbow that looked a lot better on this hand than my other hand.

This one is actually my favourite nail look that I have done this month. I just love it!

I used Orly Orange Punch. I don't think that this orange can be any brighter right. I love this so much. I used two coats of this and it was so buttery and smooth, to have two coats for a neon is so crazy wow. I got so many compliments on these nails which made my day, I love it when people say how nice my nails are. It makes my day so much. I thought I would have a smiley pumpkin because you don't carve many smiley faced pumpkins do you. They also look super cute don't they.

The next prompt for the Clairestelle8 nail art challenge is Black Cats. I absolutely love this one.

I used Models Own Purple Glare, this is a beautiful creamy nail polish which took two coats. I am so happy that I could finally use this nail polish. It had been so long since I got this and hadn't found a way to use this. But I have now. That's enough rambling, aren't my black cats so cute. I found a picture on Google, but it didn't have a watermark on so I am not sure who created it. I used my regular black and white nail polish. I absolutely love this one. I am so happy how it turned out, cats is never a nail art I thought I would do. But I finally have.

Its prompt 2 of the Halloween challenge, lets have a look at what my nails look like.

This is super cute and probably not that original. The prompt was Graveyard. I saw this imagine on Google and fell in love with it, it didn't have a watermark on so I could give any credit sadly. I used Technic Laguna. This is a really pretty blue, it is sort of a metallic shade. The one problem I did have with this nail polish is on the first coat is it was super sheer. It needed three coats to make fully opaque. I used a black nail polish for the silhouette. I really enjoyed this and it was a simple Halloween look.

TAG | Breast Cancer Awareness

This is a brand new tag which was created by the lovely Mrs Cronall on Youtube and instagram. Seeing as this month is Halloween I haven't had the chance to do a pink nail just for breast cancer awareness, so when I saw this tag I knew I was going to take part in it. So carry on reading all about my favourite pinks.

1. Favourite Neon Pink - My favourite neon pink is from Models Own - Bubblegum, I don't have a huge range of neon pinks. I actually haven't worn this one either so does it count as my favourite. Probably not (oops!). But it is a really bright pink and its calling out to be worn in the summer.

2. Favourite Indie Pink - I have chose Picture Polish - Ornate, is picture polish even classed as an indie. I am classing it as one though, it is such a beautiful pink/purple. I wore this earlier in the year and absolutely loved it. You can read it here. I love the way it looked on my nails, it was so smooth on my nails. It took just 2 simple coats.

3. Favourite Drugstore/Budget Pink - This could have been so many polishes to choose from. But in the end I chose KIKO - Apple Blossom which is only £3.90. That is so cheap considering how many nail polishes they actually sell. I used this when I did strawberry nails, post here. I absolutely love this polish it is one of my favourites. It is such a simple colour yet I love it so much.

4. Favourite Pastel Or Light Pink - This was one of my first BarryM nail polishes it is BarryM -Strawberry Ice Cream. I don't have a great swatch of this polish because the pictures were so bad. But I have used a few times which is a shock for me. I really love this polish when the untried year is over I will use it again very soon.

 

5. Favourite Medium Pink - I chose Miss Sporty - Cotton Candy, I could have had so many polishes for this category. I used this here for Valentine's day a couple years ago.  I really like miss sporty polishes they don't get talked about much. But I haven't got many so will need to try and get some more.

6. Favourite Dark Pink - Now I wasn't really sure when it come to medium and dark pink. But I found one anyway, I have Seche - Rendezvous, I used it here. I cant remember how many coats I used but it would probably have been two. I really love this polish and Seche is brand I could go and look for some more.

7. Favourite Pink With Glitter - This is another polish I haven't used but I felt it was just right for this post. It is KIKO - Pearly Glaze Pink. It is a beautiful pink with silver glitter running through it. I don't know how chunky the glitter is obviously as I avent used it. But my mission is for it to be used in the untried year in 2017. This would be a perfect valentines day polish.

8. Favourite Pink With Shimmer Or Holographic - This confused me a bit, just because the polish I chose I wasn't sure if it leaned into a purple or a pink. It is Beauty UK - Cotton Candy. Another polish called cotton candy, it has a bit of holo in it as it reflects to a different colour.

9. Favourite Pink Glitter Topper Or Full Coverage Glitter - I used Danglefoot Wine O'clock. I have used this once at the start of the year, you can read this here. Danglefoot is one of my favourite UK indie brands and you should all go and check this out. Wine O'clock was opaque in two/three coats.

10. Favourite Pink Jelly Or Metallic - The polish for this category is Revlon - Ginger Melon. It is a jelly polish, its an odd polish but I really liked it. It is such a pretty pink and it was also scented.  You can read this post here. It was an odd consistency but I liked the polish, I just felt it was pretty strange.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. Natural Collection - Mermaid's Tale - I couldn't find this nail polish in the slightest. But I had it in my wishlist so that is why I did it. This is like a silver polish with blue flecks running through it. It is so beautiful. This was from the celebration collection which I cant find anywhere, but it is so pretty. I wish I could get it.

2. Natural Collction - Parma Violet - I haven't found a picture of this anywhere, I am guessing parma violet would be a really pretty violet. I'm pretty sure this is from the celebration collection also. But once again natural collection is so hard to find pictures of.

3. Natural Collection - Moondust - Another one I cant find a picture for, but this is a silver colour. I wish I could fins pictures for you because this makes the post so pointless. Also nobody swatches them because they aren't a go too brand either which makes it really pointless.

4. Topshop - Snowcone - YAY finally a picture. This is a blue metallic, I really like this one. It is just so pretty. This would be perfect for the winter time. I wish I could find it, I might go to topshop tomorrow actually.
