I have got another Hayley's cartoon nails for you guys. This was supposed to be Wallace from 'Wallace & Gromit' when I deided to do this, sadly the person who did the voice of Wallace passed away.

I used ELF Party Purple, this was a strange polish. The first oat was very watery but it didn't run down my fingers which I expected when I applied it. The second coat levelled it out much better, but I did have bald patches and could have probably done with a third coat just to make it better. But I kept it with two. I have to admit this was an absolute nail fail, it didn't go as well as I was hoping. The yellow thing you see there is actually a block of cheese because that is what he ate all the time. I am a little disappointed with how it went, but you always practice.

Monthly Haul | April

OH MY. I am so behind with these posts, wow I need to get my bum in gear and get going with these posts.

 

Here is my poundland buys, lets see what I bought. As you can see I kind of went a little crazy oops. So sinful colors have recently got the Kylie Jenner in recently. I bought Kustom Fit, Magik Touch, Acid Wash, Fuschia U! and Innocent. I then have three Revlons in Buttercup, Bonsai and Spanish Moss. I also have one Nails Inc in Glastonbury, which is am kind of gutted that I didn't wear this at the weekend just for the fun of it.

 

Then I went a bit crazy in TkMaxx and on Nail Polish Direct, John Lewis. The polishes which I bought from Nail Polish Direct were OPI Give Me Space, China Glaze - Fairy Dust, Seas & Greetings, Pearl Jammin, Good Tideings, Purple Fiction. The polishes I got from TkMaxx were Leighton Denny Blue Breeze which is actually my first Leighton Denny. I have two OPI greens in Christmas Gone Plaid and I'm Soo Swamped. The two polishes I bought (well I didn't they were bought by my dad) were OPI Meet Me At Star Ferry and Is That A Spear In Your Pocket?

 

Now this is a random haul here, I went crazy with BarryM molten metals and got holographic lights, blue glacier and gold rush. The three kikos I have a tangerine, melon and electric melon which is a blue polish. Hmmm that makes zero sense. I have two polishes from Claire's in Rome and Strawberry Glitter which is a scented polish. Also essence is becoming one of my favourite brands, Keep calm and glow on, happy girls shine brighter and good limes.

 

What a crazy haul, its fair to say I have bought a lot more since then oops. I have no problem.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Models Own - Persian Pink - I have already got this polish, it is absolutely stunning. I have been meaning to wear this soon but I keep forgetting to wear it. That's what happens when you have over 1000 polishes. I always forget what polishes I need to wear.

2. Models Own - Bermuda Blue - This is stunning, I do love me a blue. I actually thought I already had this. But I don't for some reason, I suppose I do have a lot of the hyper gel blues. I am sure I will go and get this because it is really pretty. I do love myself a blue.

3. Models Own - Caribbean Crush - I own this too ha-ha. But it absolutely stunning, of course I haven't worn it yet. I am such an awful blogger. I will get round to it one day, I promise. It is more like a deep orange.

4. Models Own - Long Beach Peach - I haven't seen many peach polishes being bought out actually. I suppose peach doesn't always suit some skin tones. I have this too but I am questioning whether it will suit my skin tone though.

I am slowly catching up with blogging, this month I just haven't felt like posting much. I am getting back into it, so hopefully I will be posting more.

 

I am wearing Cuccio Mint Condition, this was from a nailbox from ages ago. This is such a stunning polish, you know I am obsessed with mint and any green polish. This took two coats as far as I can remember, this levelled out quite well. Cuccio is a brand that I don't see many people talk about, is it a big brand? After trying this brand for the first time I am sure I am going to try some more as you can pick them up at Nail Polish Direct and I saw one I really liked already.

I am a little behind on these posts, I always plan that I wont be but in reality I always will be. I am going to be putting a lot more effort in blogging from now on, I am have been seriously lacking.

 

I used BarryM Pinkin Out Loud, this is such a pretty nail polish. I am so happy with how it went, and I am very thrilled with the formula. This was the first nail polish I have worn from the sunset daylight curing range, and I liked it. Seeing as it is Hayley's Cartoon nails I decided I would have piglet nails. I mean piglet is one of my favourite characters. How cute does piglet look, also has the perfect arching of eyebrows ha-ha. But on the other hand the striping tape didn't come out as well as I wanted it to. For some reason it really sunk into my nail polish, but I am very happy with how this looks. Also the nail polish took 2/3 coats

I am back!
I hope you are enjoying the hot weather we are having in the UK at the moment. I think its a bit too hot for me, so I am keeping inside. But this is the warmest it has been in ages. Hopefully it cools down a little, but maybe still being sunny.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. OPI - I Can't Hear Myself Pink - This is absolutely stunning, I saw a swatch of this and it looked gorgeous. I don't think you can get this anymore though and I am sure its discontinued anyway. But I can look and admire though..

2. Models Own - Purple Orchid - This polish is absolutely gorgeous, I completely forgot that I actually own this. Does anybody do that when you forget what polishes you have. But I do remember when I swatched this one it was a lot of a gellier consistency then any of the other hypergel polishes.

3. Models Own - Powder Blue - I love this, it is so pretty. I feel this isn't your usual light baby blue. I kind of wished I got this now as it is so sunning. I will have to see is they still sell this one as Models Own seemed to discontinue some models own polishes.

4. Models Own - Midsummer Mauve - This confuses me this polish, it isn't really a mauve. It looks more like a brown in the bottle but when I saw swatches it was defiantly a mauve. I am still unsure about colours, this does look like a brown though.

TAG | Polishes That Are Me In A Bottle

This was a perfect tag for me. This is the polishes that are me in a bottle. This may be that they represent me or you think of me when you see a polish colour or formula.

First I have Essie Bikini So Teeny, this is a different polish that I would usually go for. I mean I absolutely love blue nail polishes and cornflower blue is one of my favourite polishes.

 

The next one is BeautyUK Urban Jungle, this is such a poopy colour but I absolutely love colours like this. Look out for the blog post of ugly pretty colours. This is such a disgusting colour in reality, but this is my favourite colour. I think these sort of colours represents me so much in a bottle.

 

Now Models Own Flip Flop, this is such a radioactive polish. I absolutely love this, it is such a disgusting colour and so different to anything I have in my collection. I know a lot of people liked this one because it is so different and this is me in a bottle.

 

OPI Uh Oh Roll Down The Window - I am sure if other people did this tag they wouldn't chose this one. Nope it isn't a great colour but this is just me. I absolutely love these colours and I feel comfortable when I am wearing these. There is something about this colour that just makes me so happy.

Orly Snowcone, blues are one of my favourite colours on my nails and I absolutely love this. I know this is a very popular polish as I am sure you are all aware too. This is always being talked about.

 

Models Own Emerald Green, this again is one of my favourite polishes ever. It is emerald green with a stunning gold dust running through it. I am so happy with this one, if you can pick it up I would highly recommend this one..

 

KIKO 296 Green Meadow, the formula of this polish wasn't great but again this makes me happy. Any green nail polish makes me happy actually no matter what kind of green it will be on my nails.

 

Essie Sew Psyched - I don't see this one talked about as much as other essies and it makes me sad. This is one of my all time favourite polishes, if I wasn't doing the untried year I would defiantly have this on my nails again. It is a silky smooth khaki green and it is perfect for all year round. Also a perfect formula for Essie.

 

Rimmel Hottie Choccie, I am obsessed with brown polishes. I know this is a brown with orange running through and this makes me happy. I wish brown nail polishes got talked about more often. I don't know what it is brown polishes that makes me feel good, but they really do.

 

China Glaze Better Not Pout. Now this one you probably wouldn't think that would represent me. I am a pink fan but I don't feel as comfortable when I wear it as I do when I have greens and blues. But this pink did stand out for me when I tried it.

 

I would love if you would tell me what polishes that is you in a bottle and what colours do you prefer wearing. Also is there any green polishes you want to buy (I mean I don't need persuading honest!)

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. China Glaze - Grass Is Lime Greener - I actually own this polish, I bought it last year when I went into Sally's beauty supply. That shop is an absolute godsend wow wow. This is a stunning neon and I can't wait to find a time to wear this polish. I hope in the summer it will be the perfect time to wear it..

2. Models Own - Paradise Pink - This is a really pretty light pink. I am not sure if the name is right for the colour though. It is pretty though, it would be absolutely perfect for nail art.

3. OPI - Mod About You - Again this is a light pink. It is a bit brighter than the previous one I spoke about. I am pretty sure this is a very popular polish and very highly talked about.

4. OPI - Hawaiian Orchid - Now this polish confused me slightly, it said on one page I looked at that is a nail envy polish. But it hadn't got the label on so I wonder if this polish was originally a remake. But its stunning, pink is a colour I have a lot of but not a colour I gravitate towards too much.

Polish Of The Month | May

Can you believe another month has ended, wow this is crazy. Lets see what polishes I loved in the month of May.

POLISH OF THE MONTH
This is the amazing Polish Me Royalty Alice. this is so unique to anything I have ever seen. This is so amazing I can see why I saw lots of people talking about this when it come out. It is a baby blue, it is such pale blue with gold flecks running through it. It is stunning, I used two coats but looking back I probably have used another coat.

POLISH OF THE MONTH
I have a second polish and this is absolutely beautiful. This is Models Own Lunar Grey. This is a polish which has taken me by surprise it is stunning. I have no idea why I wasn't so sure on this polish, I couldn't stop looking at my nails when I put this on. I have to say if there is anymore grey nail polishes like this, I am going to get them straight away. I am in love with it.

 

NAIL ART OF THE MONTH

This is one of my favourite nail art I did this month, I used my Tottenham nail art. If you didn't know I am a very big football fan and this is one of my favourites. BarryM is one of my favourite brands and I can sense this year me wearing quite a lot of them.

This currently wearing is a special one. I was asked to be a part of a Brain Tumour Awareness nail collab. All you needed to do was have a grey nail polish and have the ribbon on your nails somewhere. That is what I did, scroll down to see the full collage. There was a lot of amazing people involved in this collab. I can't wait to do more, I am very excited to see what happens this year.

 

 

I used Models Own Lunar Grey which I have been planning to wear for ages and just haven't got round to wearing it. I absolutely loved this nail polish, it is incredible. I wasn't sure at first whether it would suit my skin tone but I instantly fell in love with this beauty. I just used a white nail polish for the rest of the design, I have a small ribbon and some flowers. I also wrote love too, I am surprised how well that came out as I am usually rubbish at writing words. But I think you need love especially when you are going through something so horrible as cancer.
