I am still on Glam Nails Challenge July here. I am so behind when it comes to posting at the moment. I am slowly getting there.

This is the July's Hayley's cartoon nails. I am using Leighton Denny Blue Breeze, this was the first Leighton Denny I have and I absolutely loved it. This has a beautiful pink shift too and I loved it. This took 2/3 coats, it was patchy at times. I have an adorable pink starfish from Finding Nemo. I just saw the picture on Google when I saw it straight away and I knew I needed to do it on my nails. I was so happy with how these turned out.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Models Own - Emerald City - I remember seeing this before I really got into nail polish. This is an opaque green glitter, this is perfect for Christmas I think. It looks just so pretty and I know you would need a peel off base coat as it would never ever come off probably.

2. Models Own - Shades - This is from the very popular neon collection that came out a couple of years ago I believe. This is a beautiful bright Barbie pink. I absolutely love this and I already have this in my collection. I haven't found time to wear this polish yet because I have such a big collection.

3. OPI - That's Hula-rious -  I own this as well and of course I am yet to wear this. This is a stunning mint green, this probably has a drop of yellow in it. This looks gorgeous, I am so happy I managed to pick this up. I cannot wait to wear it though.

4. OPI - Is That Mai Tai Crooked? - This is a coral/orange shade. I know this can sometimes clash with peoples skin tones. But I think this would be a great polish for summer and it might have been a popular one.

This was such a nail fail for me, I cant tell you how bad this looked. I know I am so hard on myself when it comes to nail art.

The polish I used was Reiss Bronze, this is actually has no name. It is a beautiful polish and it was a one coater. I was so impressed by how this was. I have never heard of the brand before, I got this set from Boots and it came with four other polishes. Okay lets talk about why this look was so bad. The earth turned out to be more green than the blue that I originally wanted to. Then I have a passport which didn't go right because it is basically hanging of the edge of my najil. Then I had a suitcase, yeah that looked awful too. But then the airplane looked great ha-ha. So that is my nail fail.

Empties | #01

So I wasn't sure if was going to do this post, because it isn't nail related. But in the future they might be. I love watching empties videos don't you. I find it really relaxing to watch don't get me wrong, I have no idea why. So this is my first empties post. I would love to know what you think of this series, please let me know in the comments.

 

I finally finished Nivea Refreshing Toner, this has been in my makeup collection for about 3 years. I am that hoarder person ha-ha. I used this to take off my makeup with, tone my face. I have to say it didn't irritate my skin at all. I really found this refreshing (don't mind the pun!). I have quite dry skin and sometimes my skin does flare up from something pretty small. But I don't need any of these products anymore as I do have a lot of other waters, like the garnier ones. But overall I was a big fan of this one and might need to try more Nivea products out.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Models Own - Blue - This is from the chrome collection. I already own this one, it is very pretty. I loved seeing the swatches of the chrome collection. I know this collection got quite hit and miss reviews. But this is perfect for the winter because I would imagine this would look nice with some stamping over the top of it.

2. Models Own - Pink - I actually don't have this one. This is a strange looking pink shade, it is more like a paler version of a lilac. I am not sure that it looks anything like a pink, but I do like this one. I am not sure if this colour is for everybody.

3. Models Own - Green - I also own this ha-ha. You know I do love a green polish, so this one was always going to be used. This is great and I can't wait to wear this. I am not sure what I would be using it for maybe if I get some vinyl's that would be cool. I am sure I will have lots of ideas when it comes to this polish.

Haul | Very Late Kiko Haul

This post has been sitting in my drafts for months, I fully apologise. I am ready to post oops.

So Kiko polishes were £1 in this range and I kind of went crazy, oops. I absolutely have no shame at all. I will get round to wearing some this year hopefully.

 

Well this is a bit over the top but at £1.00 each it doesn't matter really. I also got 10% because it was my first order from the kiko website. I am sure the offer isn't on anymore, but I am sure it will come back as it usually does. Also you can't get these polishes in the shops much, as they changed the nail line.

 

These are the ones which I picked out of the bunch and decided they were my favourite, because this post is so late I literally cannot remember any of the names or numbers. This post is such a fail sorry. If you didn't know Kiko only have numbers on the back of their polishes and the names are always on the website. I have really enjoyed all of the kiko polishes I have used in the past. I just wish I could remember the names of these polishes so I could do a post on them. Actually I will do a separate post on the polishes in the above photo all about my favourites.

I am still going through my Glam Nail Challenge, this seems to be taking forever.

The prompt for this challenge was Mandala, I know there are so many tricky nail art designs for this. But I am sure this is because they have stamping plates and that I don't have. So I found this really cool dotticure design on Google and that's what I did with this one. The base is Essie Fiji. I know this is a really popular polish and I can see why, I am not a fan of baby pinks. But I liked this one. It took 2 coats. I used mainly all Nails Inc and then one BarryM polish. I just basically placed them wherever I wanted, I thought it looked really good. I thoroughly enjoyed this nail art design. What do you think?

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Models Own - Peach Icing - Now I am sure peach isn't a colour you usually see in a nail polish. I am struggling to think of any peach shades. I wonder if this would be a mannequin hand look, I really like the look of this. I am still not sure if this would look well on me.

2. Models Own - Mint Icing - I already own this and yes of course I haven't worn it. You all know I love a mint shade so this isn't a surprise that I have this one.

3. Models Own - Lilac Icing - This isn't really a lilac shade. It is actually a purple colour. But I don't mind the colour difference. I am sure this would look stunning on the toes as well, I am not really a toe polish kind of wearer haha. But this is stunning, I bet this has been reduced. I am not sure if these polishes are still available.

4. Models Own - Nude Icing - I am not sure if this polish would work with my skin tone, but this looks good. I think this may be the perfect polish for work, this would be stunning maybe with some lace stamping over the top of it.

5. Models Own - Indigo - This is from the chrome collection, I really like the look of this. I do have a lot of there chrome polishes. But I haven't used them yet, this is a deep blue. I can't really tell you what the real difference is between indigo and blue is. But I know this is a deeper blue shade, but I am a huge fan of it.

This was one of those days were I felt like my nail art just wasn't going how I wanted to go. But that's always going to happen, I am not as perfect as others. But never give up!

The prompt for this was dolphins, I realise this looks absolutely nothing like a dolphin. But I tried that's the main thing, I didn't want to stop doing this challenge and miss one out when I could. I used New Look Pale Blue, this took 2 coats. I absolutely loved this, I also am very pleased with how my dry brush went on the accent nail.

Why Do I Want These Products?
1. Bourjois - Vert Chlorophylle - Now this is such a long name, I was so confused when I searched for it I had no idea if I could even find it. But this is a stunning green, again I think I said in last week's wishlist. Bourjois aren't really a brand I look at much, I find it quite expensive and they don't have that much nail polish.

2. Seventeen - Bright Orange - I already own this, I am not sure if it the same for everyone in their local boots. But in mine we have a complete separate stand just with these nail polishes on. I have to admit they don't get filled up as much and it seems to get neglected quite a fair bit. But I fancied another orange just because I don't have that many. When I swatched this on my nail wheel it was quite watery, so hopefully it may thicker up in time.

3. Seventeen - Purple Shimmer - Just picture a bar of dairy milk, the beautiful purple packaging. That is exactly what you have in the nail polish bottle. I absolutely love it, I haven't used it yet. It does have a fair bit of shimmer.

4. Models Own - Pink Icing - This was a collection that come out last year time I believe, They come in this really nice matte bottle, off the top of my head I cant remember if it was a matte polish. I will have to have a look at my models own swatch wheel.

TAG | One And Only

This is a TAG which has been going aroud on youtube. I decided I would pick out my 'one and only' polishes. This is basically polishes that you only have one of from a brand. I am just mentioning I have actually only worn 5 of these polishes oops. I am splitting this up into mainstream and indies.

Mainstream

I have Illamasqua Venous which I got in a giveaway, this is just a straight up teal crème. I cannot wait to get this on my nails. Boutique Bolt Out Of The Blue, I have only just recently wore this and it is very pretty and I have to say I didn't expect much f it as it was from the supermarket. But I was very impressed. SpaRitual Blend is what I currently have on my nails, as I am so behind with my blogposts you might see this one day (sorry). Lottie London Hipster is absolutely beautiful, I wore this earlier in the year and I now need more. Leighton Denny Blue Breeze, this is such a stunning polish and I am so happy I picked it up in TkMaxx. I have L'Oreal Independence Day, this is a dotty polish and I am waiting to wear this for 4th of July. Miss Beauty Mermaid is a stunning turquoise green polish. H&M Blue My Mind, I have worn this on only one nail and really wasn't keen on it. I really need to get the newer bottles. CND Vinylux Wisteria Haze, I got this in a nailbox, it is very pretty lilac and really can't wait to wear it. Morgan Taylor Best Ball Gown Ever, I have never seen a polish this pretty before. It has so many colours running through it and I will be wearing this soon. Formula X Rush, I found this in TkMaxx and this is from America. It is like a burnt rusty shade.

Indie I have Superchic Lacquer Awkward Turtle, which has turned a completely different colour. I have shaken it and yet it hasn't changed back which is so annoying. Cirque Colours Halycon, this is a beautiful rose gold pink colour. I have Celestial Kastamiro Damior, this is really nice deep green. This just needs to be worn soon because I love the look of it. I have Cupcake Polish Berry Good Looking, this is such a talked about polish so I just needed it. AEngland Saint George, I am not sure if this is classed as an indie brand. But it is a beautiful green. I have Delush Polish Papa Was A Rolling Scone, this is a gorgeous lilac crelly with circle glitters running through it. Chaos & Crocodiles On My Own, is a gorgeous brown holographic and I am in love with this. Colors By Llarowe Siren's Song, this is such a unique polish. I have never seen a polish like this before, it is absolutely gorgeous. The last polish is iScream Nails Grasshopper Pie. I am in love wit the bottles they're so cute.

How are we in August already?! How has 2017 gone so quick, this is crazy. Almost as crazy as me being up to date with my currently wearing posts ha-ha.

The prompt for the Glam Nails Challenge was Sailor. I am so impressed by how my anchor went, its the small things about nail art ha-ha. The polish I used is Boutique Bolt Out Of The Blue, I was really worried this would stain but I am so thankful that it didn't. I picked this up when I was shopping in Sainsbury's they had quite a few colours. I am also very happy with how my striping tape turned out, thought it went really well.
