Currently Wearing | #145

I am so ready for spring polishes now. The sun is out and it feels a bit warmer, which being in the UK is a bit of a shock. I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

I used Rimmel Bestival Blue, this is from the Rita Ora collection. I have had this for a while and just haven't got round to wear it. But I regret not putting this on sooner, I have fallen in love with it. This is absolutely stunning, this was 2 coats. I loved it and just found myself keep looking at my nails. I have so many from this collection that I want, so hopefully I can get a few more from this collection. Have you tried any of the Rita Ora collection polishes? If so which ones do I need to get.

I haven't posted since Sunday, why I don't know the answer or the reason why. But I am back, I actually have a few posts planned yet nothing in my drafts. All of my drafts are years old, oops.

I was involved in another mani swap. I was with the lovely Chloe at Tipped Off Nails. I followed her pretty simple dotticure. I seem to be obsessed with them lately.

I realise this isn't the greatest of pictures, this was before the lighting changes. I used AVON Bare which is unusual for me to wear a nude nail polish. I like to wear brighter polishes so I was a bit shocked when I glanced down at my nails and noticed how nude they really were. I used Models Own Chrome Copper used for the dots.

I am so thankful for the amazing Chloe for taking part in this mani swap with me. Her instagram is @tippedoffnails to check her out!

Wishlist #165

I have got another china glaze wishlist, I may need to go out and get more as I am missing so may in my collection.

Polishes Mentioned:
1. China Glaze - Ghoulish Glow
2. China Glaze - Boho Blues - £4.95
3. China Glaze - Licence & Registration - £4.95
4. China Glaze - Flirty Tankini - £4.95
5. China Glaze - Pop The Trunk - £4.95
6. China Glaze - Metro Pollen-tin - £4.95

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. China Glaze - Ghoulish Glow - This is a matte top coat which you can put over any polish and it glows in the dark. It basically does what it says on the tin (bottle haha) really.

2. China Glaze - Boho Blues - I need this in my life. I don't care about how bad the formula is, but oh my I need this. This is absolutely stunning and cornflower blues are my favourite kind of polishes. I will be getting this soon.

3. China Glaze - Licence & Registration - This is a bright navy blue. It is very pretty and you don't see much of this polish which is weird. But I need to get this one.

4. China Glaze - Flirty Tankini - This is a very strange polish because when I googled this polish, it come up as a pink polish. But some swatches didn't seem like that which is weird. Maybe this is a mystery kind of polish really.

5. China Glaze - Pop The Trunk - Now I cant tell what this colour is because once again the swatches looked like different to the bottle. This looked like a brown polish or even turns to a pink one. It is a very odd polish, but I kind of like it. I am not sure what collection this is even from though.

6. China Glaze - Metro Pollen-tin - Okay this polish is kind of cool. I am not a huge yellow fan but I really do like it, this is absolutely perfect for when you want to do bee nail art. I am a huge fan of this, pretty sure you cant get this polish anymore which is weird.

I have Revlon Rain Forest which is a polish I have wanted for a while. I have two BarryM's, the newest gelly in Peanut Butter and BarryM Pinkin Out Loud. I went a bit crazy (well not crazy but you know!) Primark have bought a lot of polishes out recently, I have Jungle Fever, Make Me Blush, Star Gazer and Brulee. I cant wait to use all of these polishes.

Currently Wearing | #143

This currently wearing was something different, I was involved with my first mani swap.

At the start of the year I set myself resolutions as you know, and the lovely Stephanie (@stephyclaws) said she would love to participate in a mani swap with me. I was so excited when she said that, I couldn't wait to get involved with it.
I recreated the leopard print nail art, I used Models Own Turquoise Sea which is a beautiful blue. It is so pretty. The glitter I used was another Models Own Colour Explosion. I also recreated the bow, this was supposed to be a firmo which Stephy had used, but I don't have any so I just used polish on mine.
Thank you so much Steph for recreating this for me!

Wishlist #164

Another wishlist I have for you and this is a china glaze one again. I hope you enjoy it!

Polishes Mentioned:
1. China Glaze - Petal To The Metal - £4.95
2. China Glaze - Kiwi Cool Ada - £4.95
3. China Glaze - Keepin' It Teal - £4.95
4. China Glaze - Yellow Polka Dot Bikini - £4.95

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. China Glaze - Petal To The Metal - Wow this is so girly. I absolutely love the look of this, it is stunning. I don't own any China Glaze pink's. I may have to have a look at some reviews of this and that may change.

2. China Glaze - Kiwi Cool Ada - I think this is pretty sheer, I have seen swatches of this and I wasn't sure about it. But when you put it under white, that was a complete different polish. It looks really good, whether it is sheer enough on its own is a question in itself really.

3. China Glaze - Keepin' It Teal - Now this isn't the polish I thought it was. It is so sheer, I really wasn't impressed when I searched for swatches. It is so disappointing.

4. China Glaze - Yellow Polka Dot Bikini - Wow this is so bright. This would be crazy in the summer, this is so bright. I haven't seen many yellow neons like this before.

Season Picks | St Patrick's Day

Happy St Patrick's Day!
As you may know, if you are an avid reader of my blog. I absolutely love green nail polishes, they are always my favourite. I however this year can't paint my nails in time for St Patrick's Day. So this is why this is my post for you all.

For once I picked all polishes that I have actually used.

BarryM Cardamom (here) will always be one of my all time favourite nail polishes. I had super short nails when I used this, but what a absolute beautiful colour. Another BarryM is Guava, (here). This is such a different colour to any other colour in this collection of colours. Another BarryM Greenberry, I have to say I never realised how many BarryM's I love. This is a stunning mint shade, it is absolutely beautiful. It is one of those polishes that makes you look so tanned. I can't find a post on this at all, so maybe that means I can wear it again as the untried year.

I have Danglefoot Dance All Night, when I wore this I felt amazing. Its funny when a polish makes you feel like that (post here). The next one is Kiko Green Meadow, a watery polish but what a great green. Your true to colour green (here). The Models Own Emerald Green is another all time favourite polish. I have no words for how stunning this is, it was my last years St Patrick's Day polish (here). I only have one Essie Sew Psyched. I know Essie do a few greens but this is actually the only one I have. An all time favourite Essie polish (here). This is NYC Magic Earth, annoyingly I cant find a post on this either. Maybe I will have to wear it another time.

Glam Nail Challenge | February 2017

So here is my overview for the Glam Nail Challenge. I absolutely love doing these challenges because I am going through different nail art designs and I know for a fact some of these I wouldn't usually do.

In total I used 9 nail polishes and I love being able to use so many nail polishes. I have to say I struggled a little with nail art just because I didn't feel as if it was good enough. I know I should never think that as I do nail art for my own enjoyment. But anyway, never doubt yourself. My favourite nail art that I done this month was the first one the hearts and the ice cream nails. I hope you enjoyed going through my posts this month.

Wishlist #163

It is another China Glaze wishlist, I was thinking would you like to see posts of my nail polish collection. I haven't ever done a post like that before.

Products Mentioned:
1. China Glaze - Sun Worshipper - £4.95
2. China Glaze - Glitter Up - £4.95
3. China Glaze - Create A Spark - £4.95
4. China Glaze - Glimmer More - £4.95

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. China Glaze - Sun Worshipper - This is so bright, your eyes might not be able to handle it ha-ha. It is crazy and I know that I need to get this polish. This would be absolutely perfect in the summer months, I cant believe how orange this is.

2. China Glaze - Glitter Up - This polish is a little bit of a mystery. I couldn't find this polish anywhere when I was searching up for it. So I will look more into it.

3. China Glaze - Create A Spark - This is from a surprise collection, It is a clear base hex glitter. There is so many different colours in a hexagon form. This would be so cool as there is so many different coloured glitters. I would absolutely love this and it would be perfect in summer. Maybe even a white base.

4. China Glaze - Glimmer More - This again I am pretty sure this was from the same collection as the previous nail polish. It looks really cool and this is more of a pinker polish. This again would probably look great over a white or a light baby pink polish.

Currently Wearing | #142

This was the last prompt for the Glam Nails Challenge. The theme was heart broken.

The polish I used was Maybelline Watery Waste, this is not a colour I would usually wear. I absolutely love trying different colours at the moment, it is something so different for me to get used too. Also another dotticure, I have been obsessed with them recently. I also tried to do a heartbroken heart (is that a thing ha-ha). But it didn't work as well. I love doing this nail art, I really enjoyed this challenge.

Monthly Haul | January

My new series is monthly hauls. I decided to do this feature because I have so many hauls in my drafts from last year that were never posted. So this way I can post them all together. If I do a big shop I will probably do its on blog post. I hope you enjoy this series.

First of all I have already done a blog post for my Glitter Baby Nails which you can read it here if you wish to have a read. I have two W7s which I got from a shop called beauty store, they are in Mosaic and Glisten. I have got two TKMaxx buys, I always love popping into TKMaxx because they always have some great polishes. I would totally suggest going there and seeing what they have, I haven't been for a while. I have China Glaze Flyin High which is a stunning teal and I have Essie Poolside Service which I have always wanted. I am so happy that I managed to find it. I have two Seventeen polishes, this is a super cheap brand at £1.99. I have Black and Russet Shimmer. I cannot wait to use russet shimmer that is absolutely stunning. I have two of the new BarryM Frosted cupcakes in early grey and strawberries and cream. I am so excited to use all of these.

This is from the Glam Nail challenge and the prompt was romance. I decided I would incorporate my Disney/cartoon nail challenge too. So that is what I did.

I used BarryM Cotton and I was disappointed this polish. It was a tricky formula which I found strange especially with BarryM being a great brand. I couldn't decide what to do on my little finger haha so that is why I done a dotticure. I think this is quite a cute nail look actually, quite impressed with how it went actually.

Wishlist #162

First of all, I have to apologise for being such a bad blogger. I haven't been able to post as I haven't had the chance to take photos. My iPad hasn't been working that well so I couldn't take photos. But it is now so this week there will be more posts.

Polishes Mentioned:
1. Models Own - Blooming Pink - £5.00
2. China Glaze - It's A Trap-Eze - £2.95
3. China Glaze - Isle See You Later - £2.95
4. China Glaze - Beach- Cruise-R - £2.95

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Models Own - Blooming Pink - I think this is such an old polish. I could find swatches from 2012, that is how old this polish. This is so pretty though, but this reminds me of something pretty old fashion. I just cant decide why this looks so old.

2. China Glaze - It's A Trap- Eze - This is the most random polish I have ever seen before. I cant really tell what it is I like about it. It is like a while crelly with so many different colour pieces of glitter in. This is a very odd nail polish but I can't find it anywhere.

3. China Glaze - Isle See You Later - This is a very strange polish. I am not sure why this is in my wishlist actually. It isn't great, I watched the swatches. It is such a sheer polish, it didn't look great on the swatches. I think its from the shore collection and that was one of the collections that a lot of people didn't like it.

4. China Glaze - Beach-Cruise-R - This is a really bright purple/pink. I really do like this one. I haven't got many pink china glazes either which is weird.

This prompt was Chocolate. I thought this design was really cute.

I used Sally Hansen Perfect Pear-ing. This is a offish mint shade it is really pretty. I have really enjoyed this nail polish, it was so stunning. It took two coats and I used another Sally Hansen polish in Tippy Taupe for the chocolate. I have got a lot of different colours for the sprinkles, I wasn't sure what colours to have sprinkles. I absolutely love this look and maybe I can do it another way soon.
