2018 | Nail Polish Yearly Favourites

So here it is, my 2018 nail polish favourites. I have decided to do 18 nail polish favourites, seeing as I used 81 polishes in this year. I knew I would have lots of favourites, lets have a look at these. Also sorry for some of these pictures because they are in the wrong size.

Ard As Nails First Frost

I used this in December, it is so beautiful. I got this in the Christmas collection that Kat did a couple of years back. This is one of the first polishes I used from the set. I absolutely love this polish, it is so insanely beautiful.

Sinful Colors Karma

Now this polish isn't me at all. First of all I hate matte polishes but this is so beautiful. I loved this so much, it dried like a demi matte and so unusual. This is such a gorgeous colour. This is from the Kylie Jenner collection.

Pretty Perfect Polish Over My Dad's Potty

This has to be one of my favourite polishes of all time. I really love this, it is such a unique polish. I am not sure if you are aware but Pretty Perfect Polish is currently on a hiatus. I really hope she comes back because it is one of my favourite UK indie brands.

Models Own Radiant Pink

I love this polish. I don't wear as many pinks as I probably should. I have so many in my collection but it isn't a colour I usually gravitate towards. This is so beautiful, the diamond luxe is one of those collections I regret not picking up more of. This probably needed another coat but what can you do.

Primark Pink Strobe

This is so so beautiful. I can't tell you how many likes this polish got on instagram. It is so pretty. I don't have many holographics but wow that needed to change. These polishes are so beautiful and  wish primark sold them again because they would have so many people who want them.

BarryM Laguna  

I love this polish, it is gorgeous. BarryM have done some wonders the last few weeks. I am so happy with this, you might see this nail art again soon. I feel the coconut infusions were quite underrated because you rarely see anyone talking about them. I might start using my other ones.

  

Ciate House Of Mirrors

Is this not so beautiful. This was in one of the ciate advent calendars, I can't remember which year it is from. I really love this and the nail art is pretty good too isn't it. Well I think so anyway. This is holographic, Ciate don't do many holos so this is really great.

Essie Exposed

I love this polish, this is one of my favourite Essie polishes. I really love this so much, it is so beautiful. I am so happy I got this one, it is one of my favourite colours. I love nail polishes like this, if there are many more colours like this then please let me know.

Princess Nail Lacquer Nail You See Me

This was my first time using Princess Nail Lacquer and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately Princess Nail Lacquer is no more. But I still have quite a few to use so I am very happy with the others I have and will try and get round to using them all.

OPI Starry Eyed For Dear Daniel

This is so beautiful, look at that the pink glitter. This is one polish I regret only using as an accent nail because it is so so gorgeous. I will promise I will use it again in another manicure because it is gorgeous.

Seventeen Melon Ball

I have no words for this absolute beauty. Let's take a moment to really appreciate this and mourn the fact this brand is no longer being sold anywhere. This is so beautiful, I don't why boots got rid of this brand the absolute idiots. This is so beautiful, I want to wear this so much. Also I know people make necklaces out of nail polish and I want someone to make one out of this.

OPI Yank My Doodle

I wore this for my cousin's birthday, I love this so much. It is absolutely gorgeous. This has been one of those polishes that I have been wanting to wear for so long but haven't ever got round to it.

Here is another currently wearing, this one might be my favourite nail art I have done in January.

 

So I am wearing BarryM Snowflake, this was a limited edition polish which come out from boots a couple of years ago. The Glam nails challenge theme for this was nature. When I think of nature I always think of robins because I see them in the morning when I am on the way to the work. They are so adorable. I am so happy with how this robin turned out. I think its so cute, I always think my nail art is a fail from time to time. But this is up there with one of my best. There is also an accent nail of berries sitting on a tree. I love this look and even the silver, I am a huge fan of it. It was a pain to get off also because it made my cuticles ended up turning silver after I took it off. 

Season Picks | Valentine's Day Picks

So here is my picks for Valentine's Day. This is probably just a normal Thursday for some and it is for me. I wanted to do a video where I showed you all of my pink polishes. I do have a lot but I rarely reach for them, but this video has made me want to start putting them on my nails.

Here is the nail wheel, this looks soo beautiful. This took 2 coats, some look quite patchy. But I am really happy with how this turned out and I really want to do more nail wheels.

Here is another Glam Nails challenge, this is penguins.

 

Here is Essie Virgin Snow, this is such a beautiful polish. I have such a love for Essie polishes, I know people don't like the brushes but I have no problem with them. So these penguins may look strange, I have no idea what happened to the one next to my pinky. This didn't look great so don't judge mr penguin okay guys. I was inspired by a picture that I found on Google. I really can't remember the name of that person at all.

2019 | What I Got For My Birthday

So I have just uploaded a YouTube video where you saw a close up of everything that I got. Of course I had to have a blog post with it.

 

 So here are all of the polishes, I have so many of these. I have a new BarryM Plumpy Top Coat which is one of my favourite top coats. I have China Glaze Activewear Don't Care which is in one of my favourite colours, green. China Glaze Too Busy Being Awesome, this is from the my little pony collection. I love blues because they are just so beautiful. The last China Glaze is Aut-umn I Need That, wow this is so gorgeous. I have Essie Passport To Happiness, I love this. I have been wanting this for so long and I finally have this in my hands. Essie Ready To Boa, this is so pretty and surprised I never picked this up before. I have Color Club Into The Woods, I love colour club yet I haven't worn any of them. I have Zoya Dream, wow wow wow! That is all I have to say in this polish, I will wear this soon. I have OPI Coalmates, this is so gorgeous. Then lastly I have the cutest CND mini cuticle oil.

 

I have a new stamping plate. This is from MoYou London Crazy Cat Lady 02. This is so cute, I am honestly so happy that I got this plate. I will try and see if I can use this because it needs to be shown.

 

 I have this amazing Ted Baker Set, this has four amazing colours. Two of these have names but I can't remember at all what they were called. I am sure the green one is called Green Shimmer but the glitter one not sure. But there are two pink ones in here

 

 I have two cute little sets. I have Mini nail files and how cute is that hedgehog. This would be great for you to chuck in your bag or even a travel bag when you are going away. I have some adorable cat nail stickers.

 

I have Sleek Velvet Slipper which is so pretty. I don't like matte nail polishes at all so this might be a little tricky. But I am sure I will be using this with some cute nail art.

Here is my second prompt from the Glam Nail Challenge. I would highly suggest that you go and have a look at the prompts for these every month because if you are struggling for inspiration or just feeling out of love with nail polish. This will honestly help you so much. I love doing these so much.

 

I am wearing Primark Moon, this is so cute. I am so happy with how my adorable mittens turned out. I really love it, I am very happy because I have always wanted to do these for ages now. Primark have some amazing polishes, I love them. I am not usually a fan of nude polish as I just find it quite boring. This took 2/3 coats, some nail looked streaky. I really love clay mud kind of colours and at 90p I mean you cant get many bargains for 90p these days.

Mani & Lola | January 2019

So here I am with the January Mani & Lola box. Lets have a look at the polishes, I also have a YouTube Video which will be uploaded as this post is done.

Here is the box, I realised I didn't take a picture of the prices. But it is okay I will be talking through the prices later on in the post. This is a vegan box, with all polishes that are cruelty free which is amazing.

 

 

Mani & Lola 4 Way Buffing Block. RRP - £4.95 - I do love these buffing blocks, they are just so easy to use. I am not entirely sure if you can get these anywhere, but this is huge.

 

Nailberry Pop My Berry. RRP - £15.50 (link) - This is so beautiful. I am not a huge red polish kind of girl. But I can see why people love I so much, it does give off that classy vibe. I have never used his brand either, I have heard about it though. The brush length is huge, that might be one of the things I find quite annoying.

 

Zoya Ness. RRP - £11.70 (link) - Now it isn't a surprise if I tell you that this is my favourite polish from the box. I love greens and I am really building up my zoya collection and that makes me so happy. I did swatch this and it was kind of streaky, hoping that isn't the case all the time.

 

Jessica Cheeky. RRP - £11.00 (link) - This isn't my sort of colour at all. I can see why this is in the box, but not for me. I will wear it but whether this would be something I reach for I am not sure. This is from the 2018 collection, so it isn't too old. I do like the colour, don't get me wrong.

 

BarryM Razzle Dazzle. RRP - £5.99 (link) I really like this polish, but I already own this. This makes me so annoyed because you pay all that money for the box and you already own it. But I guess that's what happens when you have over 1300+ polishes. I will still be using this polish because it is just so beautiful.

 

Orly Won't Chip Top Coat. RRP - £10.95 (link) I am always willing to try a new top coat so I will be looking forward to trying this out. I am not sure if this is the correct bottle, so don't correct me on this one.

 

Here are the swatches, you can defiantly see what I mean about the streakiness of the Zoya Ness, it is very pretty but not the greatest. I am a little disappointed with this box, I hate saying that. But I feel that they didn't put much in this, I am not a fan of the Nailberry or Jessica as they are not my usual nail polish types. I already own the BarryM. But I have one more box then I will hopefully get the box again.

So here are my 2019 manis. Better late than never right, so here are the ones I have done in the Glam Nails Challenge. January was a great month of nail art for me, I sometimes struggle with doing new nail art. But most of it went really well. I loved this month.

 

Here is my snowman nails, this is so cute. I used Collection Lilac Daze. I wasn't a fan of this polish it was just so streaky I am not sure if this was the brush or just me. I really don't think lilac polishes suit me at all but I think that's just me. My other hand was far worse than this hand. I am so glad you didn't show that one. I am happy with how cute my snowmen look but the polish not so much. I think this will probably be used for nail art purposes from now on.

 

Glam Nails Challenge Overview | December 2018

Yes don't you guys worry, that is the correct date. I know I wanted to get this up ages ago. But it basically took me so long to post because I am a terrible "blogger". But here is my overview for my Glam Nails Challenge.

 

I am very happy with how this turned out. I absolutely love doing glam nails challenge because they have so many different prompts that I probably wouldn't personally choose to do on my nails. My favourite ones were the Christmas lights, Santa and Mrs Claus. But it all honesty I loved them all so much. December is a crazy month really, for everyone. I worked so hard to create this nail art so I am super proud of myself.

My nail art has been crazy really, I can defiantly say I see an improvement. I think I will do a recreation post of a really old mani so I can see if if can see a slight improvement.
