Currently Wearing | #154

I feel like I am so behind with these posts, but in reality I am really not. I hope you enjoy this one.

This nail art was for the last ever game at White Hart Lane, if you didn't know I am such a big fan of football. If I am not painting my nails or doing something nail related, I am usually watching football haha. I am wearing BarryM Blue Grape. I am a big fan of the colour, the polish was very good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish BarryM would bring out more gelly's because I need more of them in my collection. I am so happy with how my nail art went, the football went so well. I would love to know what you think of this as football is a very big passion of mine.

Wishlist #172

It is wishlist time again, hope you are all good! The weather has been lovely all week but today its been raining. I suppose that is all the summer we are having this year guys.

Polishes Mentioned:
1. Miss Sporty - Teal The End - £1.99
2. Miss Sporty - Button Rose - £1.99
3. China Glaze - Suns Up Tops Down - £4.99
4.  China Glaze - Trip Of A Lime Time - £4.99

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Miss Sporty - Teal The End - This is absolutely stunning, I am awful wth greens as you all know. I have so many greens yet want s many more. This is beautiful and would look gorgeous with a sun tan.

2. Miss Sporty - Button Rose - First of all how adorable is that name, it is so cute. It does look like a little rabbit's nose. I think it is so cute. I have loads of pink polishes yet I don't have anything like that polish. It is strange how that works out, I have so many polishes.

3. China Glaze - Suns Up Tops Down - This polish is from the road trip collection, yes the infamous very bad collection. I think that was after I started getting into polishes. I may regret this polish, I am sure this is the polish that people didn't like. China Glaze didn't have the best of times with this collection.

4. China Glaze - Trip Of A Lime Time - This polish seems a lot better than the other ones in the collection. I really love this colour, as a fan of green it does look a bit like Westside Warrior which I still need to pick it up.

Polish Of The Month | April

I have decided that I needed a bit more variety on my blog, I don't have enough favourites in a month. So this is why I decided to do polish of the month posts. This will include my favourite nail art of the month and the polish I loved the most. So lets get looking!

POLISH OF THE MONTH!
My polish of the month in the month of April was OPI Kiss Me I'm Brazilian. This was such a smooth formula, it was a two coater. But it could have possibly been a one coater. It is absolutely stunning and I love it so much. I haven't got a lot of OPI pinks, I actually think this is my first one.

NAIL ART OF THE MONTH!
This was my nail art of the month, I was so proud with how this turned out. I followed a tutorial and instantly fell in love with it, I just needed to try it. I love the mini carrots, aren't they adorable. I have to admit I loved this nail art. I hope you all liked it as much as I did. I used BarryM Prickly Pear too, that is one of my favourite nail polishes too.

I have a UK indie for you today. Lets see what I thought of this polish.

I am wearing Polish Me Royalty - Alice. This is actually the second polish I have worn this year called Alice. How random, this was inspired from the Alice through the looking glass collection. This is a very unique polish, it is a light blue polish with gold flecks running through it. It looks incredible, I did two coats but looking at the pictures maybe I should have had another coat. But this is one of my favourite polishes of 2017 already. We are in May that is how much I loved this polish.

Wishlist #171

This was supposed to be the wishlist from last week but I come home so late from football but I was so tired and couldn't be bothered. Again this is a miss sporty one.

Polishes Mentioned:
1. Miss Sporty - Dream Come Blue - £1.99
2. Miss Sporty - Big Burgundy - £1.99
3. Miss Sporty - Pink Bloom - £1.99
4. Miss Sporty - Rosy Galaxy - £1.99

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Miss Sporty - Dream Come Blue - This took me forever to find this polish online because I couldn't actually read my own handwriting. This is an absolute stunning polish, a blue holographic. I need this polish because I don't have any blue polishes like this.

2. Miss Sporty - Big Burgundy - This is the perfect winter/autumn polish, it is stunning. I really like it and it looks perfect. I probably have loads of polishes that are this shade, but we all have to have dupes of polishes right ha-ha.

3. Miss Sporty - Pink Bloom - I am pretty sure this is a textured polish, from the swatch photos I have seen it looks like a textured one. I really love this, I am not a huge fan of texture but we can all get over that right.

4. Miss Sporty - Rosy Galaxy - I am not 100 perfect sure about this polish as it looks really light. Will it be fully opaque that is the question, I am not keen on light shades. But that can always change can't it. I do love the name of it though.

The Untried Year | When Did It Start?

I was looking through all my paperwork (yes I am that crazy nail lady that physically has to write everything done. I have a nail folder ha-ha). I realised I never actually told you when I started the Untried Year.

When Did It Start?
Well I started it in 2015, it was late in August when I actually had no nail polish on and I decided I would start to use all of my untried nail polishes. I have so many and obviously that is going to keep growing and growing, when such beautiful polishes keep coming out and just tempting us. I also found when I was writing my currently wearing I seemed to have the same polishes had been used. This is why the untried year happened.

All About The Untried Year
I was asked on Instagram as I posted something on my Instagram stories, have you used all of that in one year. The answer is no obviously, I wish I painted my nails that often. I only paint my nails once a week, but the last few months I have been painting them a lot more often. I don't do swatches because I feel if I wore a polish for say less than an hour, I would feel that I had an accurate opinion on the polish, say the colour or the formula.

I would love to be able to do swatches and get them out and tell you my opinion on a whole collection. But I don't have the best camera and I don't feel that is something for me. Seeing as there is so many amazing swatchers out there on blogs, instagram and YouTube. All you need to do is find a polish you want and literally just search it because you know someone has posted something about it already. That is the magic of the nail polish community!

Will I be carrying it on?
Yes yes yes. I will and I will keep on going forever, maybe sometimes I will start to wear the polishes over again if I fancy too. I want to keep using more polishes as in the year 2016 I used a total of 65 polishes, this year I want to try and reach 70 polishes used in 2017. This will be my aim.

If you have any questions on the untried year, I would love to do another post on it. I have got a few ideas in mind when this year has finished. I realise this year is going super quick and you have to be pretty prepared haha. But honestly, I do have a few posts ready for this.

Currently Wearing | #152

I have got April's Disney nails. I completely forgot to do them in April so this is why I actually started them in the start of May.

I am wearing Claire's Skater. I am going to be honest, I am really not sure about this polish. I found it really odd. It was like a jelly consistency. I was hoping it would be a two coater, but in the end it was a three coater. It was quite a squishy polish which ended up me being able to see my nail line which is a no-go for me. I followed a tutorial on instagram and I ended up with tigger nails. I messed up the top bit but it doesn't look too bad. I am so happy with how cute tigger turned out, keep looking out for my Disney nails as I have a lot of things stored up to do.

TAG | Polishes I Bought For The Names

So this is a TAG that has been floating round for a while, it was recently on YouTube so this is why I have finally picked out the polishes that I have just bought for the name. This was hard actually, to be honest and there actually is a few polishes that I want just for the name. But I am putting myself on a no-buy.

Models Own - Hayley's Comet - This is a duochrome polish, it shifts from a red to a blue shade. My name is Hayley so that was the main reason of getting this polish. It is very sheer and I only have tried it on one finger and didn't like it, so hopefully I will use it with a black polish and maybe fall in love with it again.

ILNP - Sweater Weather - I bought this for the name because I am that person that is always in a sweater, we call it a jumper in the UK. But I am that person, no matter how warm it gets I always have a jumper with me. I feel it is some sort of comfort ha-ha.

Delush Polish - Papa Was A Rolling Scone - First of all the name is the best name of a polish I have ever seen. It is absolutely hilarious I love it ha-ha. The polish is stunning, hopefully I will find some time to wear it next year or this year. I have a plan when it comes to what polishes I wear.

OPI - Uh Oh Roll Down The Window - It is hilarious just because it reminds me of something so disgusting. I mean this polish is always talked about when it comes to an ugly/pretty colour. I love love it so much. I am still yet to wear it though that is the only problem.

Nine Zero Lacquer - Cat In The Christmas Tree - If you are a cat owner, you all have had that moment when the cat decides to climb in the Christmas tree, yes my cat has done it several times. This is the main reason why I bought this nail polish for the name.

OPI - Is That A Spear In Your Pocket? - OPI what a naughty name ha-ha. How funny though, I don't know why I find this name so funny. But I do. Also the colour of this is absolutely stunning.

China Glaze - We Got The Beet - This instantly makes me want to sing, I just love it. The colour of this is absolutely stunning too which always helps. I will be wearing this at some point in the year. I think it is gorgeous pink.

AVON - Marmalady - It is an unusual colours in my collection. But I love a weird colour it is always one of my favourite colours.  I just love the name but I don't actually like marmalade.

Currently Wearing | #151

This is actually a special currently wearing. I was very kindly involved and asked to participate in a birthday collab. Of course I jumped at the opportunity, I knew I was going to do it straight away. It was with @Stephyclaws who I did a mani swap with two months ago. I was so honoured to be asked. The theme was animal print.

I used OPI Kiss Me I'm Brazilian which I got in a nailbox ages ago, so long ago nailbox doesn't even exist anymore ha-ha. I obviously chose zebra print, I am so happy I chose this design, I found it when I was searching on Google. I wasn't sure how to do the zebra nails as I didn't fancy a boring white nail, as I am really not a fan of white nails. But the OPI is an absolutely beautiful polish, it was closer to a one coater than a two. But I used two coats just on the safe side because I didn't fancy any bald spots. Not like it would have mattered anyway with the zebra print nails.

Wishlist #170

I have got a Miss Sporty wishlist here for you, there is two polishes in this that seem the same in the picture. But I am really not that sure.

Polishes Mentioned:
1. Miss Sporty - Fiery Blaze - £2.99
2. Miss Sporty - Whiting Dream - £2.99
3. Miss Sporty - Steelusion - £2.99
4. Miss Sporty - Electric Pink - £2.99

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Miss Sporty - Fiery Blaze - Wow wow wow! This polish looks like an indie polish, it is absolutely amazing. I need to get this in my collection so much wow. It is incredible.

2. Miss Sporty - Whiting Dream - This is a really weird polish because when I saw the swatches it was a white. But this isn't right, so I am not sure if I got the right polish. But it looks really pretty in the bottle.

3. Miss Sporty - Steelusion - Okay I think now this is the wrong polish. It is supposed to be a holographic polish, but the one in the bottle isn't that polish. I wish they would make it clearer as miss sporty is a brand that never has a number or even a name on the bottle. That really bugs me.

4. Miss Sporty - Electric Pink - This is a super bright pink and I couldn't find the correct picture. It was just loads of other pinks, but don't we all love bright neon pinks. I have so many pinks yet I never wear them enough.

Currently Wearing | #150

I was watching Clare Gray over on youtube and she was destashing her nail polishes. She stumbled across her Lottie London collection, of course I was keeping note of what polishes I needed to buy. But then I remembered I am still yet to wear mine. This is why it is on my nails here.
So this is Lottie London Hipster. I was very impressed with my first try of Lottie London. I know for a fact I am going to be getting more of these polish. It is a rose gold/copper shade, yes as you can tell I am awful at describing polishes. The first coat was pretty good for a light shade, it applied well but not enough to be a one coater. It was overall a two coater, for a shade that light, I fully expected it to have needed another coat. But I am very impressed and I need more.
Have you tried Lottie London?
