Season Picks | Autumn Picks

So here are my Autumn picks, let's have a look. Autumn is my favourite time for nail polish because I just love them as they have so many different shades.

The first one is Models Own Heather, I am sure this has been in lots of autumn picks before and I rarely use it. But this is such a rustic colour and it looks so beautiful. Next I have China Glaze Seas & Greetings, I used this because it looked like pantone ultra violet. It is a gorgeous purple that has a pretty shift coming through it. I have BarryM Matcha, greens are my thing and this is so pretty. I have Essie Leggy Legend, this is a very hyped polish and I still haven't worn it haha. I have China Glaze Central Parka, again this does look like BarryM but it is so pretty.

I have Ard As Nails Sparklers, this is one polish I have worn already. This is a gorgeous polish which I wore for bonfire night. I have another polish I have already worn is Pretty Perfect Polish Over My Dads's Potty, this is a gorgeous burnt rust. I am the biggest fan of this polish. I have Primark Flame, this is described as metallic. I am unsure whether this is a metallic shade but it is so pretty. I have Nails Inc Hampstead Gardens, now this is probably the most disgusting colour you will ever see but I am in love with it. The last polish is Rimmel Saturn, now this is a gorgeous brown. You know I am obsessed, I got this in a destash.

Topic Tuesday | #29

This topic Tuesday is 'what is your favourite thing about being part of the nail community?'

I absolutely love being part of this nail community. I think the main thing is where you find friends on instagram. The nail community is quite a big one to be in. There are so many amazing nail instagrammers and you can always talk to someone whenever. I have to say the nail art collabs that we have done this year, have been so good. There are always so many things going on and I just love everything about it. Another thing is probably forever finding some inspirations and many new challenges to go through. It is just a great place to be.

Here is another Halloween nail art, I am so happy with this one.

I decided to do Krusty the clown nail, I absolutely hate clowns so I had to do this. I was going to do a really scary clown but I just didn't feel any of the designs. I used Sally Hansen Heavy Metal. I have seen a lot of people talk about this polish, I just didn't seem to get on with it. The first coat was quite poor and then it sort of levelled it out. But I wouldn't say it was the best grey I have used. I was really happy with how krusty came out and it looks cute.

Topic Tuesday | #28

Here is another topic Tuesday, I am slowly getting through these and I am praying that I finish it before 2019 starts.

The question was 'If you had the chance, what brand would you collab with? What finish/colour would you go for?' So this was an easy question. My favourite UK indie brand is Pretty Perfect Polish. I really love all the collections that they have bought out. I think I would get a holographic polish, maybe a green. I would make it Disney themed because a lot of the polishes she has bought out are based on TV/films.

Here is another Topic Tuesday, I am quickly getting through these.
I am one of those people who have the polishes that are worth the hype. Yet I don't wear them because I have so many polishes I never get round to wearing them. So these are the two polishes that I really love both of these polish. I don't know whether they had much hype around them but I certainly enjoyed them. They are Essie Jade To Measure and China Glaze Cabin Fever. These are probably up there with two of my favourite polishes I have tried before. So that's why to me they are worth the hype.

So here is another Halloween nail look, lets have a look at this one. I have to say Halloween and Christmas nail art is one of my favourite things to do.

So here is my Jack Skellington nails. I asked over on instagram for some suggestions of Halloween nails. My best friend said Jack Skellington. I used Kiko 534 Green Forest, it is such a gorgeous polish. I struggled a little with Jack Skellington's face but I did it. I am so happy with how this looked. The green from Kiko is absolutely gorgeous. This polish took just two coats and it is so pretty. I do love a kiko polish. Sally's blanket looks amazing also, if I do say so myself.

The question for this Topic Tuesday is 'what brand would you buy every single polish from?'
Mine would be glam polish if I could buy every single polish of. I haven't actually tried any of these yet but you know when you just look at a polish and instantly know that it is going to be so amazing on the nails. Glam Polish is so consistent when it comes to bringing out polishes and are always bringing out new collections. I can't wait to get these on my nails in the new year.

The Untried Year | I passed 200 polishes!

So I should have probably this weeks back but you know things happen don't they. Well I was just pretty lazy really.

So here is 200+ polishes, yes this is all the ones that I have used from September 2015 to now. I can't actually believe how many I have used. It is crazy how many polishes that I have used. It honestly made me so happy when I went and took all these photos.

Here is the 2015 polishes that I used from September, I used a total of 13 polishes. I absolutely love them all. I loved how I used a different range of polish brands. I think my favourite were the two BarryMs and China Glaze Cabin Fever.

This is 2016 nail polishes used, in total I used a total of 65 polishes. I also used 35 different nail polish brands. Look at all that array of colours. I think my favourite was Models Own Emerald Green, Flip Flop and Rimmel Hottie Choccie. I am so happy with all these colours and how much beauty is in this photo.

Here is 2017 polishes. I am so happy with this year. I used 70 nail polishes and used 39 brands. This year was a lot of different colours. I loved Essie Jade To Measure, that is up there with one of my favourite polishes of all time. There was only a few nail polish fails in here, so I might do a post on that.

Here is my 2018 polishes, I have used more than this but this post took literally so long to post and take photos for. Basically I am a mess and just forgot it all. This looks crazy, the 200th polish was BarryM Surfboard and I love it!

Thank you for reading this huge post, it was a great post to make. Despite forgetting how much polish I had to find and then to take photos of.

Topic Tuesday | #26

The Topic Tuesday is 'what are your hobbies beside polish?'

So I love football, that is my number one love. I go to football. I support Tottenham and I have a season ticket. So most weekends if I am not doing my nails I will be watching football. Also I love writing, I think that's why I do love doing my blog. I just writing my thoughts on polish and cute mini stories. I know my blog doesn't get my engagement, but I just love writing all my opinions on polish. This is why I still carry on, no matter only having a few views on each latest post.

Topic Tuesday | #24

In this topic Tuesday it is my favourite go to nail care items.

Basically I am the worst person when it comes to nail care routine, I would like to start getting better. I have cuticle oil and I need this at the moment as I have done so much nail painting recently it is kind of crazy. I never paint my nail this much. I have a cute little English Lavender Nail balm, I am yet to use this but wow this smells incredible. I have a hand cream, I don't use this one but it just looked cute for the picture.

The other tools I use is a nail buffer, I couldn't find the other one I use so I just showed a random one in the picture. Also the nail file is one that I don't use. I then have a stick and I use that to occasionally push back my cuticles or clean the back of my nails. I know you probably shouldn't but it is something that I have to do.

Here is my first set of Halloween nails, I am honestly so happy with how this one turned out. Do you ever get that pride when you see something on your nails fully come to life? It is so great.

This is BarryM Mystic Purple. This is a Boots Autumn/Winter 2017 limited edition polish. This is always my favourite thing when they bring out these. It is such a gorgeous purple, it has a lovely green/blue shift running through it. The nail art I have done is Mona the vampire, I should have probably done a darker skin tone because she looks really creepy. But that's what makes it good, in my opinion I will always be biased. I also done her cat which is always around her as well as a bat.

Topic Tuesday | #23

So I am getting super far behind on my Topic Tuesday, I am starting to get ahead of myself now because I really want to finish this before 2018 is over. I am unsure whether this will be happening next year, but I really hope it does as I want to do more of this.

The question was 'favourite all occasion/go to nail polish. Basically if you look at this picture you can see it is green. I have so many green polishes, but green just makes me so happy. But if I am going out and it is a special occasion I will usually do a pattern or something that matched what I was wearing or what I am doing on that day. It is something that I really love doing.

If this isn't an autumn polish when you see one, I don't know what is. I promise I will get autumn picks up soon.
This is Pretty Perfect Polish Over My Dad's Potty. This is such a gorgeous linear holo, it is very intense. I still don't know the difference between holographic and linear. This is from the rugrats collection, it is so gorgeous. This took 2 coats. This brand is currently on hiatus as she was in hospital so I am praying that she comes back because it is one of my favourite indie brands.

Mani & Lola | October 2018

So here is another Mani & Lola box. As I am writing this my next box is being dispatched to me. So I really should have got this up earlier but what can you do.
This month's box is super excited and this was a great one. I am just so happy to get some use out of these goodies. One day I promise I will wear at least one polish because when you get swept under with too many untrieds, these guys get forgotten about.

Here is what I got, I apologise for the photo because it was so bright when I took this photo it looks really odd. But what can you do.

Morgan Taylor - Sweet Escape. RRP - £11.00 (link) This is a gorgeous pumpkin orange shade. This is only the second Morgan Taylor that I have and I was excited to see it.

Cuccio - Vegas Vixen. RRP - £6.95 (
link) Wow this is a new year polish in a bottle. I have never seen a polish like this, it is pretty textured. This is a sheer grey and has chunky silver glitter running through it. The shimmer is absolutely gorgeous.

Orly - The Antidote. RRP - £12.00 (
link) This is a gorgeous deep plum shade and perfect for the autumn. This has the breathable formula and has a oxygenated nourishment for healthy nails. I can't wait to get this on my nails and I would have a cute glitter accent with it.

Zoya - Dannii. RRP - £11.70 (link) This is such a beautiful polish. I don't have many Zoya's but there is something about this that I love so much. It has a gorgeous glitter particle running through it.

Jessica Nourish Cuticle Formula. RRP - £8.95 I cannot find the link for this but I am ready to use this, I have quite a bad habit of not using anything for my cuticles at all. So this will come in handy, if you want to see a nail care routine then let me know.

Icon Cosmic Fibres. RRP - £9.95 (link) This is basically silver bar glitter. I know bar glitter isn't something all nail lovers like, it is a controversial product because either people love it or hate it. I have no idea how I will use this, but that is the fun thing about it.

Here are the swatches, I will be doing a close up over on my YouTube.

Here is one of my autumn picks, I haven't yet posted my picks yet. But I think I will be doing it in the next few weeks. I am in love with this polish.

This is China Glaze Seas & Greetings. This is a gorgeous polish, I don't have many colours like this. I know this could be used for the pantone ultraviolet colour of the year. This is an iridescent purple, it has flashes of pink running through the bottle. It only showed up gently. I really wished it showed up lots more because it would be so perfect. It took 2 coats for this but I wish I used another coat because it come across patchy. But I will be using this as an accent nail as I felt I didn't get much use out of it.

So I am slightly annoyed with myself because I got some of this round the wrong way. But it was only the collabs that should be swapped and sinful colours should have been before this. But it doesn't matter haha.

So here is Essie Exposed, this was Essie's colour of the month. Isn't this absolutely beautiful, I am obsessed with this colour because green is just the best. This was from the autumn collection that did so well and a few were put into the core collection. I really love this so much. I am sure that this one will be worn again with some nail art. I love love love it.

This is another birthday collab, I do love doing them because it shows how together the nail community is. This is for life of Agnes, I didn't actually follow her but I followed her quite quickly and recreated some nail art of hers.

This is Models Own Long Beach Peach. This is a gorgeous peach, I don't reach for shades like this at all. So it was a nice surprise when the nail art I recreated. I love this, I do love floral nail art and don't get to do it as much. I also used striping tape for this, I rarely use it because I am absolutely awful with it. I have no idea why, it is one of those things that I never get the hang off.
There we so many nail art that I could have recreated, I really loved the yellow one in the middle because that is so perfect.

This was a birthday collab and honestly I love doing these sort of collabs because they are so amazing.

This is a birthday collab from the lovely Chloe, over at tippedoffnails. She is an amazing blogger and you should see her swatches. I am using BarryM Surfboard, this is such a gorgeous polish. I love this design, I have cute little flowers on it too. It is pretty colourful, maybe I should have changed the green leaves but I think it does make it look kind of quirky.

As you can see there are lots of amazing people and very talented nail artists on here. So it was an honour to be involved in this birthday collab.

Currently Wearing | #244

It is another currently wearing for you, I promise I will start posting something else or just try and post my nails on time for once. But let's be honest, that isn't going to happen is it.
I am wearing Sinful Colors Namaste The Night, this is from the crystal shimmer collection. I picked this up in a beauty outlet store and I need to go back to that amazing shop soon because I need more polish don't I. This is such a unique polish. I miss getting sinful colors in the UK. It was such an amazing brand and it makes me so sad that we miss out on all these beauties. This is a deep burgundy with crystal shimmers running through it, I wish you all could see how beautiful this one is.
