I feel like I have been pretty distant with blogging, but I haven't been. I am not particularly sure why it feels like that.

 

I am wearing Essie Fiji, I have worn this already before but I had two bottles of it so it counts as an untried lol. This was Essie's colour of the month for May. This is such a nice polish, I haven't actually been that keen on light pinks before. I paired it with a Miss Sporty glitter and I love it. I am so gutted that I couldn't get a second bottle of this before Miss Sporty weren't on the shelves anymore.

Topic Tuesdays | #17

So here is another topic Tuesday. This is the fist polish you would buy if you lost your entire collection.

 

This was very easy for me. This is Models Own Emerald Green, this is an absolutely gorgeous polish. I am the biggest fan of this from the moment I wore it. I knew this would be my favourite polish ever. I have already got a back up of this because it was in poundland I basically had to get it because its a pound haha.

In this topic Tuesday, the topic is favourite manis. I have just decided to pick ones from the whole time I have been blogging for. There has been a lot of manis so I am sure I will have a tough time deciding. I basically only chose a few. But I am happy with every manicure I have ever posted on here. I know some turn out better than others but I am very happy with them.

I have so many Topic Tuesday posts to show you, this is very bad at how behind I  am. I will do them soon because I actually want to be up to date for once ha-ha.

The question for this topic Tuesday was 'colours you have most of in your collection. Top 3 from them' My favourite colour is green and I have so many of them. I have chosen three polishes from my collection which are my favourite. I have Models Own Emerald Green, BarryM Cardamom and Essie Jade To Measure. If anyone has any greens they can suggest because I have so many polishes but you can never have enough can you.

Are you ever inspired by everyone on instagram because I am. I decided I would create a new challenge called 'Hayley Recreation Challenge' so this was inspired by Hannah_nails_it. This is bacon and egg nails ha-ha. I have used OPI My Pal Joey. This is a gorgeous blue and it has been sitting as an untried for too long now. But it is absolutely gorgeous. This took 2 coats. I also managed to use a nail art pen which is something I am not very good at. I really liked this nail art.

Season Picks | Spring Picks

Well, isn't this awkward. We are now officially into summer and I never even posted my spring picks. I am now not that bothered so I am going to be posting this because I have the picture and I am not going to waste it now, you get me.

 

I have China Glaze Re Fresh Mint, I am a sucker for a mint or any type of green so this is perfect. Next is BarryM Blueberry Bon Bon, again blue polishes is my biggest love too. If a brand ever brings out green and blues I am there with grabby hands ha-ha. I have Princess Nail Lacquer Nail You See Me, I have already worn this but I of course haven't posted it yet absolute shock. I have Essence Good Limes, this is such a beautiful green and I am very happy I picked this up. I have Kiko Ginger Pink, I have so many pinks but rarely pick them out. Another green Rimmel Home James! This is a gorgeous green, might not be that perfect for spring but its a grassy green. Primark Lilac Crush, this is a lovely lilac. I am the worst at describing colours ha-ha. I have Models Own Cornflower Gleam, this is gorgeous especially for spring or summer. Essie Going Guru, this is a lovely minty green but this is apparently quite watery. The last polish is Primark Sky, this is gorgeous and has a pink shimmer running through whether it shows up on the nail.

Another currently wearing for you today, I am going to see if I get ahead of myself soon.

 

I am wearing Revlon Entice, I found this in poundland. I do love a bargain in poundland, I think you all need to go and look for polishes in there because they are some pretty good ones there. This took 2 coats and I should probably have done another coat of it. But it was nice. I also absolutely loved the brush of this. I need to find more of these brilliant strength polishes because I am a fan of them.

Well this was posted in May and we are currently in July. So can you see how behind I am right now. Yes and I am so behind on them because of the world cup oops. So lets get on with it.

I am wearing Seventeen Melon Ball. Sadly you can't get this anymore because this line was discontinued recently. This is a gorgeous colour and I am in love with this polish. This took 2 coats. I also love the name it just makes me laugh at how good it is. It is just a stunning polish and I am sorry that you can't really pick this up anymore. But you can all just admire this absolute gorgeous polish.

Topic Tuesdays | #14

As usual I am slowly getting through my topic Tuesdays, lets have a look at what my back ups are.

 

So I don't have many back ups because I have got so many polishes, so I don't really tend to use that many polishes up. But I am very happy with the three that I do have back ups. I have BarryM Cardamom, this is one of my all time favourite nail polishes. Then I have Models Own Ibiza Mix, I picked this up by accident because I got pretty excited that this was only £1 in poundland ha-ha. The last polish is Essie Fiji, I got this in a Christmas set and I didn't realise until I got home that there was two of them in each pack. I had always wanted the packs so I wasn't that bothered by it.

Topic Tuesday | #15

Here is my most expensive polish for Topic Tuesday.

 

This is SuperChic Lacquer in Awkward Turtle, this is a gorgeous polish. I am a huge fan of it but the only thing is that this has actually turned a different colour. I think the pigments have just separated. I do need to wear this but now this has changed I am not a huge fan of it. But this is what happens when you have so many polishes.

TAG | If You Were An Indie Maker..

So this is a brand new tag which was created by the lovely George over at Georges_nails83. She did this tag over on her YouTube channel. Click here to see her YouTube! I would if some more people did this tag, because it is a very good one. Right lets go.

1.If you were to create your own indie polishes what would you call your brand?

This is a hard one actually, I would call it snail nails lol because people always think that's what my instagram name is.

2. What would your first indie collection be and why?
It would be based on football. My other love is football and I am such a boy when it comes to watching football ha-ha. So I would base the whole collection on that. I would absolutely love to do this.

3. Describe one polish from your first collection
As it would be football based, my polish would be a deep blue. This would be a gorgeous blue and based on my team, Tottenham. Maybe it would have a little shimmer running through it because shimmer makes everything better right?

4. What's your favourite indie polish finish?
I think it would have to be shimmer or crème. But I have to be honest that I haven't tried many indies yet. I am still exploring when it comes with them.

5. Is there an indie maker who inspires you?
Ard As Nails, because Kat is always making so many new collections and puts so much into her brand. It is also one of my favourite brands.

6. What is your favourite indie bottle shape/ what would you use?
I would use a square bottle, there is quite a lot of brands that use square bottles and they a perfect. Also it has to be a wide brush, skinny brushes I don't like as much.

7. Is there an indie polish that you wish was made slightly different?

No I don't. I haven't used that many yet so I can't really have an opinion on the polishes yet.

8. An indie brand you don't own but would like to try

There are a lot of UK indie brands I still need to try. I want to try night owl and there's another brand called Turtle Tootsies. I think I want them because of the names. But the more UK indie brand that I want to try is Coze, Prism and elune polish.

9. If you were to do a collobaration with an indie maker who would it be?
I think it would be a UK indie brand because you have to support all these girls doing well in the nail polish community.
