Mani & Lola | April 2019

Can we all believe that I am behind with my mani and lola reviews, nope its okay I know. I completely forgot to take photos and then I just generally got distracted. So here we go, we have waited long enough for this post.

So in April we got 5 polishes which I was quite surprised about because we usually get a nail care item rather than another polish. But I am not complaining. First we have OPI Samurai Breaks A Nail, this is from the Tokyo collection. Next is Cuccio Take Your Breath Away, this is a gorgeous nude. I am not the biggest lover of love but I really love the look of this. I cannot wait to get this on my nails because this would be a great base for my nails. The next one is Orly Seize The Clay, now this is such a burnt rose/red toned. This is really beautiful. I think this polish has an autumn vibe. The second to last polish is Morgan Taylor Up In The Air Heart, I have no idea what the name of this polish means. I am not the biggest fan of this colour but this will probably be a transition colour to when the summer months of bright colours have ended. The last polish is Nails Inc Mermaid Playsuit, this polish confuses me because I already own this exact polish but it is in a different name so I am not entirely sure about this polish.

Currently Wearing | #290

Here is another currently wearing, this is one of my favourite polishes I have ever used.

This is Glam Polish Son Of A Beach, this is my first ever time using Glam Polish. I am obsessed and want every single one of these polishes so I will be getting more. At this point I don't really care how many I get because they are all so gorgeous. Seeing as we are in England they are quite hard to buy, you have to get them through a Glam Polish UK Facebook page. So I am very grateful that I did this because I have become obsessed with them. This took three coats, but look how beautiful it is.

Here is the potential POLISH of the year. I am so happy that I finally tried this brand.

Here is Prism Polish Drip Drip Drop! I am so happy that I finally got round to wearing this brand because I have seen so much about it and I am very very happy about it. This is such a gorgeous polish, so I am telling you all that you need to go and try it now.

So here is with the flash on, this is so pretty. I still can't get over how beautiful this is. You know when you come across a polish and you really don't want to take it off because its just so good. This was one of those polishes, I fell in love with it in the first coat. So I think I need to go and get more of this brand because it is so gorgeous. We have to go and support the UK indie brands because they got to keep making and we need to be buying more basically.

While I was sorting out my photos I completely forgot about this. I realised that this was actually part of a birthday collab. Sue the owner of Prism Polish. Everyone got together and did a collab of her nail polish, so this was a great opportunity to wear it.

Once again we have another nail art collab, this is an awareness collab. I am rolling these out this year. I might do a huge post of how many of these I have done.
This is a awareness collaboration for Cerebral Palsy, this is part of the claws of the clause nail art awareness page. I used W7 Neon Green. This isn't neon at all. This was quite a watery polish which I did expect when I used this at first. W7 is probably a brand that is readily available but sometimes people dismiss them. This was three coats and I liked it. I am also happy with how the butterfly is because I have found them quite hard when I have done them on my nails in the past.

Here is the amazing Cerebral Palsy awareness collab.

Here is my doctor who mani, I have never watched doctor who in my life. This was for polishedrose birthday collab.

I have never watched this programme before, so I asked my friends who have watched it before. They came up with some great ideas, they said that the iconic bow tie as well as the blazer. I tried my hardest with that. I then also did the tardis which didn't really turn out as well as I had hoped. I used BarryM Damson, this is a polish that is always talked about as being the duped for Sally Hansen Pacific Blue. I am such a fan of this blue, it is really gorgeous.
Here is the birthday collab, look at all the gorgeous manis that everybody did.

Season Picks | Spring Picks

So I have a season picks post for you today, are you a seasonal wearer? because I was thinking I don't think I am. I always try to be but sometimes I just wear whatever I fancy.

I have 18 polishes. Lets get through all of these polishes because there are a lot of them. I have Models Own Asscher Blue, this is such a gorgeous blue with gold flecks running through it. Another Models Own Top Turquoise, this was really pretty. The only problem was that it was quite a weak formula. I have Primark Lemon Sorbet, this is a really pretty lemon yellow. I have Sinful Colors Mint Apple, I cannot wait to wear this polish because it is just so gorgeous. I have China Glaze Re Fresh Mint, now we all know I love a green so it is no shock to why I love this. The next polish is China Glaze Belle Of A Baller, this is a Barbie baby pink. Essence Purple Sugar, now essence is a brand I have tried quite a few times and this polish is no exception. It is absolutely beautiful. BarryM Fondant, it is a sweet little lilac. I really liked this polish when I wore it. Purple isn't a colour I wear much, but I liked it. Ard As Nails Friday Fri-Yay, in the nail wheel it looks like a normal cream polish but it has some shimmer. I am a huge fan of this one. OPI Show Us Your Tips, this was one of those Opi polishes which was so talked about and it was right to be spoken about. Zoya Sawyer which is a coral, I haven't worn any zoyas yet but this is so pretty. Now we have a nude, BarryM Pit Stop. A nice palette cleanser when the spring colours get annoying after a while. NYC Peach Popsicle, another coral peach shade which is really cute. Essie Chillato is a really pretty yellow, this was also hyped about when Kylie Jenner wore it that time. Pretty Perfect Polish Blossom, now I cannot wait to get this on my nails because it is absolutely stunning. Essie Perfect Posture, this is a pretty lilac shade. Glam Polish The Wonderful Things About Tigger, now this is such a beautiful coral. I don't have many Glams so I am so excited to swatch this one. Nails Inc Mermaid Parade, this is so beautiful. I am sure this is more of a topper than a polish. But I will give this ago soon I think.
