This is one of my favourite nail arts that I have done this year already. Lets have a look about it all.

 

I was in a mani swap with Zoe over at myrealnails. She is absolutely lovely and we have planned a few more too do.

We were inspired by @simsterrxx and I am so happy that we can do mani swaps because that is an amazing way to be inspired and forever recreating. I think this is up there with one of my favourite nail arts ever. I used China Glaze Blanc Out, I am that person that can never find the perfect white. But this might be up there with one of my favourites.

Nimy Nail Challenge | April 2018

So here is the overview of the Nimy Nail Challenge. This is a new challenge which is on instagram. I am always wanting to do more challenges over on instagram. She usually creates two challenges called 'this or that'.

 

I have used 8 nail polishes in this challenge. I have to say my favourite nail art was the daises and the bunny with the flower crown. I also got over 100 likes on one of my photos which was amazing. I usually don't get passed 60 so this was such a huge shock. Tell me which one was your favourite, I would love to know what you think of it.

Topic Tuesdays | #13

So here is another topic Tuesday, this is top 5 polishes for spring.

So here is my top 5 picks, I always pick polishes for certain occasions yet I never wear them ha-ha. I have Seventeen Summer Sling, this is a gorgeous and looks so spring like. I am in love with it actually. The next one if Models Own Cornflower Gleam, I mean I have so many colours like this yet I haven't worn it yet. I have Kiko 505, but I cant remember the actual name. I will have to have a look what the name is when I eventually get round to wearing it. I have Rimmel Round And Round In Circles. This is such a pretty yellow, I might pick up a back up because I essentially use his for nail art. Primark Vintage Silk, this is the brightest raspberry pink.

This currently wearing might be up there with one of my favourites. I am very proud of this one.

 

This was the last prompt for Nimy nail challenge. This is Birth decade, I had so many idea for birth decade nails. I honestly had such a long list of cartoons that I wanted to do. This was the one that I finally decided, it was powerpuff girls. I am so happy with this one. I will be doing more nail art with all of the other prompts so look out for them in the near future. I am wearing Primark It Girl, this is such a pretty polish. Unfortunately it isn't a one coater which doesn't really bother me. But I know it can when they claim that. But I did mojo jojo hat and then Blossom accent nail.

Topic Tuesdays | #12

Here is another topic Tuesday.

 

This is most used polishes, not including base or top coat. As I have so many nail polishes I don't use that many polishes more than once actually. But these two are my most used, I have used each of these for manis as well as nail art. The green is Kiko Green Meadow and China Glaze White On White. I am a huge fan of these and am always on the look out for new white nail polishes because they always come in handy.

Here is once again another currently wearing, I am slowly getting there with these.

 

The prompt for the nimy nail challenge is video game. I actually wasn't sure what to do for this so I asked my friends if pokemon was a video game so this was what I was going for. I used Claire's Rome, this took 1/2 coats. Claire's isn't a nail polish brand I would usually go for but I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Apparently Claire's might be going into liquidation but I will be going to see if there is more polishes like this. I followed a tutorial to do the Pikachu and I am very pleased with how this turned out. I also did the pokeball and this was really good.

Here is another currently wearing from nimy nail challenge.

I used China Glaze Good Tide-Ings, this is an absolute beautiful polish. This is up there with one of my favourites of 2018. This took 1/2 coats, I am a huge fan of this. The prompt for this was daisies, I really love flower nail art at the moment. I made the daises quite small because I wanted to get enough on my nails.

Topic Tuesdays | #11

So I am slowly getting though my topic Tuesdays, I am very slow when it comes to blogging. It probably would have been so much easier if I had done this on instagram.

The question was 'What brand would you choose if you could only own one?' This couldn't be indies. So I chose BarryM, this is a brand that I have always been using and absolutely love. There has been so many new collections. Yes there has been collections that haven't been so great, they did go downhill when they decided to do make up. But in 2018 they have been absolutely great. As you can see from the picture above there has been a lot of different collections. I haven't found a bad BarryM yet which is always good.

Happy National Nail Polish Day | My Story

Happy National Nail Polish Day everyone! I thought I would tell you all about my nail polish story, I have seen a lot of people do this on instagram but about there Essie story. I decided I would do my main nail polish story.

I remember I had the shortest stubby nails. I absolutely hated my nails because I used to bite my nails so much. There wasn't much of them but I remember I used that gross nail polish growing stuck, if you tasted it. It would be vile. I have always had nail polish and then remember I just instantly become obsessed with it. Its funny because I cant remember anyway or what the first nail polish was that sparked my huge love for it. But we all had to start somewhere didn't we.

 

But that is what makes the nail polish community so amazing because we all fell in love with it in different ways. Nobody can have the perfect story but that's why I love seeing how many people got into polish the same way or just completely by accident.
