Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. Miss Sporty - Candy Shine - I actually put this in my wishlist last week, oops. I am pretty sure this is a big collection. Again I will talk about this, but this looks absolutely stunning and I have seen swatches of this when I go onto Google. Miss Sporty isn't a brand that is every spoken about which makes me sad because they have some right beauties, maybe I will make it my mission to wear one of my miss sporty polishes this year.

 

2. Miss Sporty - Pop Rocks - Now I already own this, I am not sure how I am going to wear this. It is such a unique nail polish. I cant really describe this polish so I will probably use it a bit in a few weeks. Once I have decided what I colour it can go over the top.  

 

3. Makeup Revolution - Peppermint - This is a beautiful mint, I am a sucker for any type of green nail polishes as I love them. I don't see Makeup Revolution polishes that often anymore, so I am guessing you can only get them online.

 

4. Makeup Revolution - Skeptical - This nail polish has a name where I am pretty sure it isn't spelt right, so sorry about that. But this polish has a metallic pink feel about it. I really like it actually.

The prompt for the Glam Nails Challenge was vintage love letters. 

I used Sinful Pro Shine in Babydoll. When I posted this picture on Instagram, someone commented saying be careful it will stain as it did mine. I then was a bit confused as baby pinks shouldn't really stain, well that's what I thought. Yes it stained. My nails have a slight pink tinge too them. I am not impressed and I will have to soak them once this challenge is over. Other than that, I loved this nail art. The envelope was my favourite, I absolutely love them. The hearts turned out really well actually, I used my dotting tools. The love didn't turn out too well as the poor e is all lonely haha.

I have another currently wearing for you today, lets see what I chose to do for the Glam nail challenge.

 

The prompt of this was kisses, I had such a cool idea to do lips. But well that was easier said than done that's for sure. I was really looking forward to this nail art design, but some nails come out quite well. I used ELF Glamour Girl, hmm this nail polish was tricky. It looks nice on the nails here yes, but realistically it was weird. Some nails it went on perfectly well, then others it was just a clear base with some gold running through it. It had completely separated in the time I had just use it. I am not sure why it was doing this. But luckily it was fine after a big shake. I did like this polish as it was completely different to what I would usually wear. I also hadn't worn elf in a long while.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. BarryM - Sugar Apple - I can't believe I don't have this, I am so confused at why this isn't in my collection. This is absolutely stunning isn't it. I think maybe the reason I didn't get this was it looks so similar to another one that BarryM bought out. I will make sure that I get this one soon.

 

2. Models Own - Copper - I have this already, it is very pretty. It is perfect for stamping. I haven't really got the knack of stamping yet. But I am sure that I will get the hang of it as I want to start doing more as I have so many new plates.

 

3. Models Own - Rose - Now this is beautiful, not sure why I don't already own this one. I need to get this one as it looks so delightful.

The prompt for this nail art was Wedding Cake.

 

 

I used NYC - I Need A Dollar. This is such a beautiful colour, I absolutely love greens as always and it is stunning. I also used Seventeen Winter Coat which is a gold glitter. Also my poor wedding cake looks so lonely as I couldn't think of anything to do with it. But then on my other nail I used my nail art pen which I am useless with. I created some champagne glasses, I have to say this didn't last long on my nail.

2017 | What I Got For My Birthday

It was my birthday on the 30th January and I am finally getting round to be posting and even writing this. Lets get going as this could be a long post.

This is all of the enail polishes, oops. I had two nail polishes sets that were out at Christmas time and my mum bought them for me. I have Essie which has Fiji and Set in Stones. I already have Fiji but I really wanted the glitter. I am still not sure if I will be using Fiji much as it may make me washed out. The other set is from Reiss. I may not a close up picture and post on this when I get round to wearing them, but lets just talk about the marble effect on the packaging OMG!!.

 

Now lets get omto the nail polishes and I do have a lot, so I will just talk about the polishes when I eventually get round to use them. I have another Elegant Touch Base Coat which is one of my favourite base coats and I may get round to do a blog post/review on it. I have two OPIs, one is Yank My Doodle and Starry Eyed For Dear Daniel. I have an Essie which is Playing Koi and I am sure that you all know about it seeing as it is so beautiful and very much talked about it. I have Chaos & Crocodiles On My Own and Nine Zero Lacquer in February 2016. I have loads of China Glaze which I am really starting to get into and building up my collection. I have Twinkle Twinkle, Little Starfish, Harvest Moon, We Got The Beet and Let's Shellebrate. The MoYou London polish is Black Knight.

Now I have all of the nail art things. I have two stamping plates - Cooking 06 and Kitty 11. I cant wait to get to use these. I also have a new stamp and scraper. I have some cool nail stickers which then again I can't wait to use them. I have some new dotting tools as they always come in handy. Then I have some trusty nail wheels.

Collab | Valentine's Day & Single Awareness

It is February 14th as I write this. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I am a single lady and always have been (oh that comes across really sad!). I decided I would do the collab that I saw on YouTube. Obviously I have never been with anyone, I struggled with some of these. But I decided just imagine I am on a date or even my wedding night ha-ha. Only joking, I just decided to do it because it looked like a great idea.

 

1. Favourite Bright Red - As you know I really don't like red nail polishes. But I chose Rimmel - Double Decker Red which actually is my go to red for nail art. Whenever I need a red, this will always be the one I gravitate too.

 

2. Favourite Vampy Red - Hmm well this isn't a red, but it is a vampy. I don't use reds so I don't really have many. But this is Nails Inc - Kensington High Street, this is beautiful. I wore this at the start of my untried year. It is more like a purple but I am saying it can be a red. Here it is being worn here.

 

3. Favourite Sweetheart Pink - I don't know whether I am being really stupid or what, but I couldn't work out what a sweetheart pink was. I chose OPI - Kiss Me I'm Brazilian. This is a stunning Barbie pink which I haven't worn. But does this class as my favourite, probably not ha-ha.

 

4. Favourite Hot Pink - Now this I absolutely love, I wore this last year. It is a ONE COATER. You don't get many one coaters, well I don't seem to get many. But this is stunning, have a look at it here when I wore it last year. It is Essie - Haute In The Heat.

 

5. Favourite Baby Pink - This is one of my all time favourite nail polishes and BarryM. I don't have a recent post to show you because this is a polish that I have always worn. It was before I really got into nail polish. The polish is BarryM - Strawberry Ice Cream. It is a bit sheer but perfect for a base for nail art.

 

6. Favourite Wedding Polish - I haven't got married or plan to get married for a while, need to find myself a man first ha-ha. I haven't got a wedding to go to until my cousin gets married in 2018. I decided I would pick any polish for this. It would probably be a nude or whatever colour I plan on wearing that time.

 

7. Favourite Date Night Polish - This doesn't really mean much because I am not going on a date. I would wear a green nail polish as that is my favourite colour on my nails. I love it or even a brown holo as I have picked up a few recently.

 

8. Favourite Nail Art For Valentine's - At the moment I am doing the Glam Nail Challenge, if you want to look at my nail art. I haven't finished it yet as I still have a few prompts to be posted. There will be a tag when I completely finished it, so keep your eyes peeled for a few more nail art designs.

 

9. Single Awareness Polish -  As I am single I would decide to wear whatever I want. As I have such a huge collection I would wear any colour that I want. Single awareness means wear whatever colour you want to because it doesn't matter.

 

10. Favourite Anti- Valentine Polish - The other nail polish colour that I love is brown. I know that sounds weird but I love brown nail polishes. They are always my favourite, nope I don't know why ha-ha. But I only ever wear it at winter and I have a small obsession of holos coming through my collection too. My favourite brown would be Models Own - Hot Chocolate.

This is a very small wishlist this week. I am going shopping this week so I imagine I will be buying lots of nail polish this week. I mean I need some more don't I haha.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Models Own - Olive - I have heard so many things about these chrome about how they can stamp. I have used one of them already and you know what they do stamp. But I have seen a few swatches that they aren't very great, I haven't tried it in a few anicure yet. I am sure I will eventually get round to wearing them. But Olive is a weird colour, its like a yellow/greeny gold. But this looks good. I haven't bought from Models Own for ages though oops.

2. Models Own - Pear Purple - I am yet to wear this as well. I love the diamond luxe range and I wish could have got more of them actually. They got rid of a lot of them recently which is so annoying. Why do brands do that, that is so silly. It makes me annoyed about how they always seem to get rid of nail polishes. I wish brands wouldn't get rid of polishes, just keep them.

3. Miss Sporty - Pink Marshmallow - This is so pretty. Wow I absolutely need this, it is so pretty. This would look beautiful over a black nail polish. I always forget about my miss sporty polishes and that is a shame as I do have some pretties.

Here is another Currently Wearing and this is from the Glam Nails Challenge. I really like this one.

 

The prompt of this was red flowers. I am not the greatest when it comes to a dotticure kind of thing. I am useless, I really don't know why I struggle when I do it. I used Ciate Iced Frappe which is from 2016 Mini Mani Month calendar. It is a pretty nude I was sure that this would make my hands look really pale, but luckily it didn't. I used Rimmel Double Decker Red for the flowers and China Glaze White On White.

Haul | Polish Me Royalty

I have a haul for you to have a look at. I also apologise for being such a rubbish blogger at the moment. I am struggling with posting, but I am getting through my posts. I have a few coming up in the next week, but you will be excited to see what is coming up.

I ordered because Polish Me Royalty created a brand new website. There was also a huge sale on. This is a UK Indie brand made my the lovely Sarah. As you can see I got a handful of polishes. I got three large bottles which are 10ml size bottles. I have two from the Christmas collection. I have Bluddy Sprouts which I knew I needed because I absolutely love green nail polish and this basically jumped out at me. The next one is Kandy Kane Lane which is an incredible polish. It is my first crelly actually, it is a green base with white and red green shapes running through it. The last bigger bottle is Alice. This is a pale blue base with gold flakies running through it.

I have three 6ml bottles. I have Daddy's Lil Monstar, this is another blue polish which is a crelly. It is mixed with pink flowers, matte stars, hex and dots. I have White Kissmas which is another one from the winter Christmas collection, this is a clear base glitter topper and it has snowflakes in. I actually regret not getting this in a bigger bottle as I know I am going to love this. The last polish I got is Choco Pops, this is a unique polish that is so cool. It is going to look pretty cool on the nails.

I also got some free little goodies chucked in the bag. I have a jar thing (not really a jar, but you know what I mean) of gold glitter. Then I have two little bags of gems. The order came so beautifully packaged as well. I know for a fact without even using any of this polishes yet I am going to be ordering again.

Why Do I Want These polishes?
1. LA Colors - Candy Sprinkles -  This polish is absolutely stunning, I have seen something like this before from BarryM actually. I really love it and I am so ready to get this beautiful nail varnish. I wonder if this nail varnish is opaque and not like all thick and clumpy as that wouldn't be fun.

2.  LA Colors - Cocktail - This is a glitter topper. I mean look how gorgeous this is, it looks like it would be a pink base. It is so stunning and I would love this. You can't be a glitter at all can you.

 

3. LA Colors - Confetti - This again is another glitter, this looks like a multi-coloured glitter. This would be amazing for the summer months. I mean you can't have enough glitter bases can you. This would be perfect all year round to be honest.

4. Models Own - Turquoise - This is a chrome nail varnish, I already own this. I am yet to use it yet of course, with most of my nail varnishes. They are untried, I am sure I have over 600/700 that isn't or hasn't been used. But this will look perfect when it comes to nail art.

It is the start of my Glam Nail Challenge for the month of February. I decided I wanted to take part in this just because I knew it would be girly, I don't really do many girly nails. I mean I wear pink nails but nail art I don't really do of it.

 

The first prompt was hearts. I had such a good idea to do a stitched heart effect and I found a picture for inspiration. Hmm well that didn't go well. I did two nails of the stitched and it just looked awful, so I quickly took that off my nails and started over again. But I think this idea looked good. I realised after I took this picture I forgot to clean up oops, I apologise. I used Technic Happy Holidays, this is a beautiful bubblegum Barbie pink. As it is so bright it looks more like a neon. I am so tempted to get a backup bottle because I love it that much. So I hope you like my heart nails as I know I do.

This nail polish was what I worn for my birthday. I got this in the middle of the year and couldn't wait to wear it.

 

I celebrated my 23rd birthday on Monday (30th) and this is what I wore on the day. It is Picture Polish Alice, what a absolutely beautiful nail polish. This is incredible. Wow I love it, I can see what all the hype was about. I sadly didn't want to take this off but I knew I needed too. I will defiantly be getting more picture polishes because the two I have tried I have fallen in love with.
