Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. NYC - Parma Violet  - I already own this polish and I have already worn this nail polish. This is a deep purple and it looks good with two coats. If you wish to have a look at the post that I recently posted (post here)

2. Topshop - Pink Is The Colour - I cant find a picture of this at all, but I looked through a blog and found some swatches of this. This is a peachy pink, so its not really pink. But I don't think I could find it on the website.

3. Topshop - The Love Below - This looks like a really pretty metallic pink shade. I really like this polish, I just think this is a beautiful pink. I don't have many pink polishes from Topshop.

4. Topshop - Pink Cadillac - I need this polish in my collection, it is absolutely beautiful. I am a sucker for a pink nail polish. This is a light pink with a hint of silver shimmer, I am only going on pictures as well as the bottle shot. So I may be wrong on this one.

5. Topshop - Rad - This is another nail polish that I own from Tosphop, this is a green nail polish. I really like this nail polish and it is so pretty. I cant wait to get the time to wear this nail polish as it is absolutely stunning.

Currently Wearing | #72

This was the first nail polish that I wore in the year of 2016. I absolutely love this polish it is so pretty.

I am having a pretty unhealthy obsession with China Glaze. Whenever I see a swatch of China Glaze I just need to know what it is. This is Better Not Pout, this is from the Cheers Holiday collection 2015. This is classed as a merry berry pearl, not sure about the merry part. But oh this is such a stunning magenta shade. I really love this, I have put 2/3 coats on as it places it was a little patchy but I believe that was just the way I applied it. I will defiantly be getting more polsishes from China Glaze and this may have just made its way into my favourite polishes of 2016. Yes I know a bold move ha-ha.

Why I Wan These Nail Polishes?
1. Tanya Burr - Bright & Early - I already own this nail polish, this is such a pretty candy pink shade. I really like this and I haven't worn this yet shock horror. This would be absolutely perfect for valentines day as I love the shade. Tanya Burr's nail polish can be hit and miss as I have seen some very mixed reviews.

 

2. Models Own - Sound Factory - Now I already own this as well, I am still waiting to wear this nail polish. This is such an amazing bright blue nail polish just so pretty. I do love blue nail polishes the only problem with this is it has such a horrible blue smell. Disgusting ha-ha. But that's not stopping me with blue nail polish.

3. Claire's - Sugardrop - This is a micro glitter in a clear base with lots of rose gold and silver glitters. I am awful at describing nail polish so I am sorry. But this is such a pretty glitter and I am always a sucker when it comes to glitter nail polishes.

 

4. Models Own - Purple Glare - This is a beautiful gel nail polish from Models Own which of course I own. I own so many nail polishes from Models Own so I am wont surprise you when I mention them. But its a beautiful gel purple polish. I cant wait to wear this.

This is quite a late post as I wore this as my last polish in 2015.

This is the last two polishes that I wore in 2015. As you can tell I had a bad break on my pinky finger, its so small. It makes me sad that I snapped it half way down, it was really sore. I have got on Champney's Twilight, which is a rich blue/purple - plurple ha-ha. I originally thought this was a blue but when I put it on my nail it was actually a purple. The firs coat wasn't great but it was a lot better than I thought. Over the top I have Ciate Celestial, which is a silver chunky glitter in a purple shimmer base. I really like the glitter its pretty.

My 2016 Nail Resolutions

So I was watching nailpolishbabyninety's youtube video. She is one of my absolute favourites on youtube as she definatly knows her stuff and makes me want to buy all the nail polish she owns. Lets explain what this post is about. She did a video on setting herself nail resolutions for 2016 so here is my resolutions. I did miss a few off but I did an instagram about them already. 1. To hit 300 instagram followers, as I write this is I have 159. I think maybe this one is a little bit hard but I will keep going as I think I can achieve this. I just love going on instagram and being inspired by so many incredible pictures. I just love seeing different polishes from brands I have never heard off and all the polishes that I want to own.

2. To try and use my stamping plates, so I have two stamping plates from MoYouLondon and I only have used it once. I want to try and perfect this as I have seen so many amazing pictures of peoples stamping and kind of feel disheartened about how bad my attempt is. But I know you should never give up with nails.

3. To do a successful gradient / ombre, I have seen so many incredible pictures of gradients. I would love to give it ago again as I felt mine was pretty rubbish in comparison.

4. Try some untried nail polish, I am trying to use untried nail polishes all year round because I have so many nail polishes that I am yet to try and I just want to try and wear as many as possible.

5. To do more nail art each month, I do love nail art and I am trying to do more and come up with some new ideas. I have some new books that I can do nail art on. I just cannot wait to give it ago.

6. Blog more often, to try and put in more effort, I am trying to blog more because I feel that I haven't blogged enough in the past. But I am up for blogging more and I have so many ideas for posts planned and it should be a lot more active on this blog once again.

7. Buy an A England nail polish, I know this isn't really a resolution is it. But I feel like I need to try an A England nail polish because I have seen so many lovely swatches, they are always coming out with some lovely shades all the time.

8. Buy/ try  at least 4 indie brands, so this is a double one really. I have set myself to try and buy some different indie brands. I currently have one indie brand and picture polish but that's not involved as an indie brand. I just cant wait as I get super excited by indie brands.

9. To look after my nails more, by this i mean with a nail care routine. I am awful at giving attention to my cuticles. I don't know why, I'm just so silly when I forget. So I will make sure everyday I will be doing my cuticles as they are very important.

10. To buy a kbshimmer nail polish, I have seen so many nail polishes from this brand before and they are all incredible. It is hard to get in the UK though. I will get one even if I have to get one from America. I will get one in my life.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. BarryM - Chai - This is an absolutely stunning grey. You probably wouldn't think grey would be a beautiful shade. But I actually love this, I may be tempting to go and get this when I next go to Superdrug. I really love the colour though.

2. BarryM - Cardamom - This I already have, this is one of my favourite nail polishes. I just love the colour as it reminds me an army colour. I think this is just so perfect and I would happily wear it every day if I didn't have so many nail polishes.

3. BarryM - Paprika - I love this nail polish. It is so pretty and it is one of my favourite nail polishes. This is the perfect for the autumn and I love it. This is another nail polish that I have and I really love this, its just one of my favourites.

4. BarryM - Mustard - This is the one I haven't got, I am so interested in getting this one but I know for a fact that it wouldn't suit my skin tone but its a super pretty shade. I would love to be able to pull it off as I think it looks really cool.

5. BarryM - Blue Grape - This is one of my favourite blues I have. I just I could find the opportunity to actually wear it though. I will wear it this year I am sure of it ha-ha. I am sure I always say that but this year I will have this beauty on my nails.

What I Got For Christmas | 2015

I know it's half way through January and I am just getting round to posting about what I got for Christmas. I don't know why I am so slow at posting at the moment. I have an exciting post next week though my resolutions that I am setting myself in 2016. Anyway enough of that, let's get on with what I got for Christmas. 

This is my nail art and miscellaneous products. I got two nail art books which will be the start of making my nail art better, I have the Ciate Book Of Nail Style, this is a little more complicated that the other book. But the other book is made from nail bloggers / instagrammers, this is the Pretty hands and sweet feet book. Then I have nail wheels which are always good for my swatches, nail art stickers which are snowflakes. A manicure set and some nail files which are so cute. I may chuck in my handbag, you don't want a broken nail do you?! Then I have a MoYou London festive nail plate 03, sadly christmas has passed so I can't wear use them yet. 

I have 10 nail polishes that I received for Christmas. 9 of these were from my parents and one was from my auntie. I find it strange how my family didn't get me nail polish - maybe they realise I have too many haha. I have Models Own Pink Wellies, a stunning bright pink creme. Models Own Hot Chocolate from the new Twilight collection, you can't go wrong with a brown nail polish. New Look Aubergine, I can't describe it its purple shade obviously like an aubergine haha. Cuccio Mimes and Musicians, this is such a unique polish in my collection and can't wait for the summer for this to be worn. Then another New Look Multi Coloured, strange name but it shifts to different colours. The next line of polishes, Binky London Purple Shimmer, this is a foil effect polish will look stunning as an accent nail. The next polish is Models Own Caribbean Crush, a lovely orange nail polish. I have China Glaze Better Not Pout, a beautiful fuschia shade which I have recently worn and you will see a post on this soon. I have my first Indie nail polish, Picture Polish - Ornate, I cannot wait to wear this nail polish it's stunning. I have Rimmel Brit Pop, this is a lovely teal shade. 

2015 | Yearly Favourites

It is the 11th January and I am just getting round to doing my 2015 favourites. I know I don't do swatches but I decided I would incorporate nail art and just plain manicures in it. Also I am unsure on why there are so many gaps in this post. Its annoying I am sorry.

BarryM - Cardamom and AVON Hypnotic Bronze (post here)

This is one of my favourite nail polishes. I love the colour and I even attempted at some stamping. I feel this green can actually be worn around anytime of the year. I absolutely love it and BarryM is one of my favourite brands also.

BarryM - Paprika - My fox nails (post here)
This was one of my absolute favourite nail art pieces. I don't really as much nail art as I would love to. But since I got some nail art books for Christmas I actually want to give it a go. This is from a tutorial that I actually followed from another nail art blogger. I love the paprika shade and feel that this is the perfect autumn nail polish.

BarryM - Guava (post here)

This is the last BarryM nail polish featured in my favourites. I didn't realise how many BarryM's I had even included. This is a lovely teal shade and is perfect for the summer. Also I cannot believe how long my nails are in this picture, wow I want them that long now. This is my all time favourite BarryM nail polishes as well.

Models Own - Cerise Shine - Flower Nail art (post here)
This is also one of my favourite nail arts that I did in 2015. I have used Models Own Cerise shine which is an beautiful pink hypergel. I have so many Models Own nail polishes and the majority of them, I haven't worn before. I love doing flower nail art, I may give it another go this year. Seventeen - Azure Amore (post here)

I can't get enough this nail polish. If I only had one nail polish left in my collection I'd be so happy. I just love this nail polish. I had to repurchase a new one at the weekend as it had gone completely gloopy. But as I am doing an untried year I wont be using this yet though.

 

China Glaze - Cabin Fever (post here)

This is one of my absolute favourite nail polishes I have in my entire collection. I love it and this was the first china glaze nail polish I have actually worn. I have never ever tried a duochrome before this and it has made me want to go and get more China Glaze nail polishes. I mean I don't need anymore China Glaze polishes anymore ha-ha.

 

Ciate - Strawberry Milkshake - Candy Cane Christmas nail art (post here)
This was one of my favourite Christmas nails that I had done. I thought I would give a different look on Christmas nails instead of the boring red and green nails. I love this, not too sure on the actual pink nail polish though. It was super thick and I still needed three coats as it was streaky. But i really loved my nails at Christmas.

ELF - Rosy Raisin & AVON Silver Crystals (post here)
I actually chose this nail polish for the silver glitter. I absolutely loved this polish, I am not usually into texture feeling polish but I absolutely loved this, I hope I can find out some of these polishes again.

It is wishlist time again. I am putting myself on a spending ban after my birthday. I cant wait to be able to try my untried nail polishes. So look out for that on my blog.

Why I Want These Products?
1. MUA - Apricot Candy - This is a beautiful crème apricot shade. I find it funny that I don't have that many shades like this. It is so pretty, I really like this shade. I am not too sure if this nail polish could actually suit me, I find it a bit too light as I am very pale. I just hope I don't look like a ghost.

2. MUA - Cherry Blossom - This isn't really a cherry colour is it, its more like a fuchsia bright pink. I really love colours like this and I feel that this would be beautiful. I love pink nail polish and I don't wear it enough though sadly.

3. MUA - Truffle Cream - This is just your standard nude nail polish. I have to say I have a lot of nude nail colours and probably don't need anymore. But this is a cute colour and it looks more creamy and a much lighter colour than the ones I currently own.

4. MUA - Orchid - This is a lovely deep purple. I feel this is more of a crème finish then the rest of the polishes. I am not sure why but I just feel that is what it comes up like. I know for a fact I don't need any more purple polishes but I mean at only a pound.

Currently Wearing | #70

This is my last Christmas mani. I loved this one and I hope you liked it also.

On the rest of my nails I used Sally Hansen - Tippy Taupe. I used two coats of this. I really like this nail polish even though its just your bog standard boring brown shade. I think this is up there with one of my favourite brown shades. Then for the accent nail, this is my Christmas pudding nails. I had so many ideas for my Christmas nails and I just couldn't decide what to do. But here it is, I used BarryM - Mushroom for the base of the pudding. Then the white of the pudding I used China Glaze - White On White, the red berries which kind of looked a little bit stupid, I used Rimmel - Double Decker Red. Then the last polish I used was Models Own - Paradise Garage for the leaves. I can't wait to wear this nail polish on its own.  

No More Nail Polish Wednesday?

I have decided that its time for nail polish Wednesday to come to an end.  just have way too many polishes to even take pictures off. So instead when I get the time I will do an overview of my collection in 2016. I think that sounds like much a better idea because having over 600+ nail polishes are just a struggle ha-ha. I am unsure when I will post this because I still haven't done my 2015 favourites yet either oops.

Why I Want These Nail Polishes?
1. Claire's Witchy Woman - This nail polish is beautiful, I really love the colour of this. This is such a beautiful glitter. I believe that this is a Halloween glitter and it is so pretty. This is in a clear base, I am only guessing as I haven't seen any swatches. This has got green and hexs as well as some pretty stars. I need this nail polish as I would love a Halloween glitter.

2. BarryM - Fashion Icon - This nail polish is beautiful again. This is a glitter nail polish. It is a blue/purple. Lets just say a plurple ha-ha. This would be lovely for an accent nail with a lovely purple shade, I don't have many glitters like this really.

3. BarryM - Atlantis - I feel super excited by this glitter. Yes that is stupid, this is super packed with so many shapes in glitter with an array of colours. I love this it would look so beautiful with the next nail polish, that is super gorgeous.

4. BarryM - Persian - This is another purple, I am such a fan of this collection from BarryM. I absolutely love this colour and the glitter previously is just so beautiful over the top of it. I really like this one and I may need this in my collection right away.
