Currently Wearing | #149

I have got my Easter nail post for you instead of my wishlist. I came home from football and just not in the mood to post my wishlist today. I have had an amazing day today and have hardly any voice due to a cough and cheering a 2-0 victory against our biggest rivals ha-ha. I should do football nails soon.

I was inspired by one of my favourite nail artists @nailsbyjema on youtube, I suggest you check her out. She is absolutely amazing. I used BarryM Prickly Pear which is a beautiful lilac and I am not sure why it has taken me so long to wear this as it is stunning. I actually made my friends chose the design I did on my nails this Easter. They all chose this one because of the carrots ha-ha. I used China Glaze White On White which is my go to white. I am so proud of how these worked out, I am so happy with them. I hope you like it too as much as I did. This is one of my absolute favourite BarryM's.

Monthly Haul | March

This was a small month of polishes. Lets get talking about all of these polishes because this is the real reason why we are here.

This is a pretty small haul (compared to April's one yes!). I have three Ard As Nails, which is a UK Indie brand. I have Evening Shimmer, a brown holo and you know I am a sucker for a boring brown nail polish. Then I have Sugar Loaf Mountain which is absolutely stunning when I put it on my swatch wheel. Then I have Selfie Stick a neon holographic green which is going to look insane in the summer. I am already planning to put this on my nails very soon. I have got Boutique Out Of The Blue, which is a brand I got from Sainsbury's. See you can always pick up nail polish in your local supermarket ha-ha. Then I have four AVON nail polishes. I can't exactly remember which one is which so I am just listing them oops. They seem to look the same in this picture. I have Stonewashed Clay, Marmalady, Smokiest Plum and Dusty Fog.

Currently Wearing | #148

I couldn't decide what to paint this day, so I chose a pinky nude.

I am wearing Primark - Make Me Blush. This is completely different to what I usually wear, I was hoping this had more of a pinker tone to it instead of a nude feel to it. When I posted this on Instagram, someone commented saying its nice to see you wear a different colour. I wasn't sure if that meant I always wear the same kind of colours. But this took one coat! This polish was 80p or a £1, I cant really remember which one it was. I was slightly confused when I wore this polish just because it isn't a me colour. But I did really suit me and I enjoyed it in the end, so I was taken out of my comfort zone.

Wishlist #169

It is wishlist time, I am planning to do an overview at the end of 2017 for all of these polishes I have bought in a whole year. So I hope you are going to get excited for that, even if you have a long time to wait ha-ha.

Polishes Mentioned:
1. BarryM - Road Rage - £3.99
2. Miss Sporty - Beetle Wings - £1.99
3. Rimmel - Apricot Punch - £2.99
4. Miss Sporty - Aurora Borealis - £2.99

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. BarryM - Road Rage - This is a stunning mint/turquoise green. I am sure you all know by now I love green and this is no exception. I already own this beautiful polish. I can't wait to wear this.

2. Miss Sporty - Beetle Wings - This is a stunning polish, this could be taken for an indie polish. But no it isn't its a miss sporty polish. This is a rose gold foil, it may come across as a copper. I would love to get this, miss sporty isn't a brand I always look at. I have a few polishes from them and still don't pick them up.

3. Rimmel - Apricot Punch - I also own this, when I wore this it was a prink coral polish. I do like this one and I got it for super cheap when I bought it from Fragrance Direct.

4. Miss Sporty - Aurora Borealis - This is a stunning polish and yet again I own this. But I cannot wait to wear this, it may be perfect over black. But I think when I eventually try it will be without a base colour. It may be a bit sheer but I know it will be perfect.

Currently Wearing | #147

I am slightly behind with these, so hopefully you don't mind it if I post them one after the other. I have also been slacking with these posts. I will try and get more regular with posting. I went back to work this week after a week off (yay for the Easter holidays!).

I have Essence Pretty Cool Life on my nails. Can we talk about what an amazing brand essence is. I don't see it get enough credit and what it deserves. This is a stunning green, this is really difficult for me to describe. This was a two coater for me, but I am sure if you applied it accurately and far better than I did, it would surely be a one coater. I sadly had to make my nails nubbies, you know I had am allergic reaction which caused my nails to feel dry. As I write, my hands are no better, but I am not getting into this again. I have already done a post about my allergic reaction which you can read here.

Wishlist #168

I have a BarryM wishlist for you, I have got a few of these polishes in here too. So I just thought you could enjoy this post and see my opinions on them.

Polishes Mentioned:
1. BarryM - Cotton - £3.99
2. BarryM - Eat My Dust - £3.99
3. BarryM - Stop The Clock - £3.99
4. BarryM - Full Throttle - £3.99
5. BarryM - In A Heart Beat - £3.99

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. BarryM - Cotton - I already own this, this is one the white gelly that BarryM do. I feel like I was going to really like this, but I sadly didn't. I found it a pretty dodgy formula. But I did like it, just not as much as I thought I would.

2. BarryM - Eat My Dust - This is a cornflower powder blue. I absolutely love colours like this and yes of course I own this one. I am yet to wear it, but I really do like this and can't wait to get it on my nails.

3. BarryM - Stop The Clock - This is a pastel yellow, that has a few drops of white in. It could lean towards a yellow pastel shade. I am not used to colours like this, it might not be the greatest on my nails. But this may be perfect for nail art though, so on that purpose I think I might have to pick it up.

4. BarryM - Full Throttle - I have this polish, it is a deep orange. I do like this polish though, I am a fan of it and it would be perfect for summer. This may be on my nails sooner than later actually.

5. BarryM - In A Heart Beat - Why on earth do I not have this polish? This is absolutely stunning, I cannot believe how pretty this colour is. I need to get this, I hope the formula of it is good. I do need this one.

A - Z Of Nail Polish - Ard As Nails

The next post in my A-Z of nail polish, is the UK indie maker Ard As Nails.

From Left To Right: Selfie, Park Ranger, Crime Book Junkie, Evening Shimmer, Sugar Loaf Mountain, Selfie Stick
I have 6 in total and I could buy so many more. As you can see there is a size difference in the bottles, they have recently changed them. They were originally doing two sizes but now they only do the 12ml bottles, which for me are personally better as I am not a fan of mini bottles. They are constantly bringing up new collections to keep up with the latest trends which I think is amazing especially for a UK Indie.

This is what the bottle looks like, I cannot wait to wear more of them. I have only currently worn one polish. I will be doing a indie month next month hopefully.

Currently Wearing | #146

I am a little behind with my currently wearing, I cant even work out why. As I post these I have done a lot of blue polishes. So I think when I paint my nails next I am use a different colour that isn't in the blue category.
This was March's edition of #hayleyscartoonnails. I decided I would do Toy Story Alien nails. I absolutely love toy story and its actually one of my favourite films. If you wish to leave me some suggestions of what Disney themed nails you'd like to see me do, then comment away. I used KIKO 707 Blue Mermaid, this is a stunning polish and it was two coats. I am blown away by KIKO polishes and this is lovely. I was inspired by the very talented and crazy about Disney also is @nailartbyjen over on instagram.

Wishlist #167

It is wishlist time once again and this is all BarryM. BarryM is one of my favourite brands and I still feel like I don't have enough of them. I need to get so many more.

Polishes Mentioned:
1. BarryM - Lap Of Honour - £3.99
2. BarryM - Kiss Me Quick - £3.99
3. BarryM - Fondant - £3.99
4. BarryM - Raspberry - £2.99

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. BarryM - Lap Of Honour - This is a beautiful polish, yet I already own this. I am so confused when it comes to this polish as the picture looks a complete different to the polish. But it is very pretty and I am yet to wear any of the speedy polishes. I am pretty sure that they are hit and miss. But I am sure I can deal with that.

2. BarryM - Kiss Me Quick - This is a light baby pink. I am not usually a fan of Barbie/baby pinks. I am a fan of this pink though. I also sung the song out loud too haha.

3. BarryM - Fondant - This is stunning, but I would love to know how similar is to prickly pear is. I need these comparisons. I may need to go and get it just to see how similar it really is. Gelly's are my favourite or all the barryms.

4. BarryM - Raspberry - This may have already been mentioned in my wishlist but I really can't remember. This just looks beautiful and I am sure I can find it on the cheap somewhere. If you love BarryM then I would suggest you check out poundland as they sometimes do them on the cheap.

A - Z Of Nail Polish | A England

This is my new series, A-Z of nail polish. I have decided it would be time to show you all of my nail polish collection. As I have so many, I have broken it up into brands. So this is where the A-Z comes in, I won't be posting regularly with that want to bore you all. But I know we all love to see what people own (yes I am that nosey!)
Here is A-England. I mean look how lonely this polish is on its own. Its Saint George. This is a stunning emerald green, this has Christmas written all over on it. I cannot wait to get this on my nails as it is absolutely stunning in the bottom. I have to admit, I have been lusting over A England polishes for a while, but am yet to pick any up. I will sure need to change that.
Do you have any A England polishes?
I would love to know which ones I need to get. Also are you ready to see my collection and which brand are you excited to see?

Season Picks | Spring 2017

I have my spring picks post for you today, I really enjoy picking out these polishes. Even though I rarely use them the ones which I have picked out.
Lets start with the trusty BarryM Prickly Pear, this is one polish you will see soon. I have something up my sleeve (not literally!) with this polish. The next polish is Polish Me Royalty Alice, a pale blue with gold running through it. It is such a unique polish that I have never seen anything like it before. I have Kiko Apple Blossom and I have worn this, it is a stunning Barbie pink. China Glaze Lemon Fizz, I am pretty sure this is quite talked about, I am not a huge yellow fan but this is so pretty. AVON Rain Washed, this is a washed out lilac in my opinion. This would look fabulous on the toes, I don't ever paint my toes because I am so lazy ha-ha. I have OPI That's Hula-rious, I love green polishes as you know and this is absolutely stunning. It looks so fresh and would great with nail art. Ard As Nails Crime Book Junkie is next which is a beautiful bright pink more like a deep plum. But you can't beat a holo can you. I have Rimmel Pear Drop which is so old but a stunning metallic green. Models Own Persian Pink, this has been on my mind ever since I got it. How have I not worn this polish yet. It is absolutely gorgeous. I haven't seen a polish like this before. The last polish is Essie Garden Variety, this is a dupe for a few polishes. But I don't mind it is stunning. I had to get a green polish in this.

Wishlist #166

I have got another wishlist for you all, hope you have had a lovely weekend! Now it is sunnier and lighter in the evenings, I will finally have pictures of my nail polish collection very soon. I am so excited to take pictures of my collection for you all.

Polishes Mentioned:
1. Models Own - Coral Glaze - £4.99
2. Models Own - Paradise Garage - £4.99
3. Models Own - Sun Hat - £4.99
4. BarryM - Pole Position - £2.99
5. BarryM - Pit Stop - £2.99

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Models Own - Coral Glaze - This is a beautiful coral, I have to be honest out of all the colours I own. I rarely wear coral polishes. I am not sure why because it is such a beautiful colour. I am sure in the summer I can find a way to wear this colour.

2. Models Own - Paradise Garage - I have this polish and what a surprise I am yet to wear it ha-ha. It is a gorgeous metallic green. I am sure I will eventually get round to wearing it. Maybe I should do a new series in having loads of colours and make sure I wear them.

3. Models Own - Sun Hat - This polish is the definition of a Barbie pink. I am yet to wear this one too. But I will be wearing this one in the hotter months. I cannot wait to wear it.

4. BarryM - Pole Position - I have this one also, I am not sure about these. I have heard they aren't they best formulas, but I am so ready to wear this one also. If you want me to pick polishes that I will try and wear, comment on this blog post. As I am sure that is a great way to make sure I use the polishes. Obviously they will be in the untried year.

5. BarryM - Pit Stop - I am pretty sure I have the wrong polish in the picture as that looks different to our swatches. But this is a crisp neutral polish. I actually hate nude polishes. I don't think they suit my skin tone and I am not sure how it looks on me.

Nail Care | Allergic Reaction

I have been needing these two products religiously for the last two weeks.
At work, I currently work as a cleaner and it does play havoc with my nails. But I don't mind as long as I can have a picture for instagram haha. But that isn't what this post is about. I recently found out I have a latex allergy as my hands are so swollen from the gloves. Over 2 months ago, I had been given different gloves, which cleared it up magically. My hands had never been so soft ever (yes really soft!). But I stupidly ran out of gloves and well the allergy returned. I won't get into why I'm back wearing the gloves because I don't wish to moan about colleagues. My hands have been so dry and red. They are so cracked and actually look like scales. My skin is so sensitive at the monent,so cuticle oil and hand creams are my best friends. Hopefully my skin will be back to normal soon and my nails aren't so dry, thank you for understanding this situation.
