This year I am taking part in the Clairestelle8 Halloween challenge. I hope you enjoy this challenge because I am absolutely loving this.

The first prompt of the challenge is Spiders. I used Bourjois Bleu Asphalte, this is a really pretty navy with a drop of deep blue in I think. I absolutely love this look. I wasn't so sure about the spider webs, I did it free hand because I don't have many stamping plates like this. But I was overally impressed with it. Even though I should have put some spiders in it somewhere instead of little black blobs on. I also used Miss Sporty Glitter which is one of my absolute favourite nail polishes of all time.

This was the start of autumn nail polish. Lets get into this polish.

 

I am wearing OPI "Liv" In The Gray, this is so pretty. I know it is just a standard grey but I love grey polishes. I actually won this from Nail Polish Direct, I won it on instagram. I was super excited when this one arrived at my door. I love it, it took only two coats which I was super impressed by. This is from the brand new OPI Washington Collection which I may need to get so many more polishes from.

I couldn't decide what I wanted to wear this time around so I just picked any polish out of my collection.

I used Ard As Nails Selfie, this is a UK Indie brand and it is so pretty. I absolutely love this so much, it took 2 coats I think. This was so smooth and buttery. I need to get so many many more, I feel that there is a new obsession coming and its UK indies. I may do a huge post on UK indies so you can enjoys these beauties just as much as I do. Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. CIate - Mango Martini - This is a really odd orange polish, it is like a cheesy kind of colour. That is a disgusting comparison though ha-ha. But this would be the perfect autumn polish or even for Halloween. This would look super cool.

 

2 OPI - Sleigh Parking Only - This is a deep purple. This is what you call a perfect autumn polish, winter polish actually. This is really pretty. I do love it, I haven't got many really deep purple shades like this. But I know I do need to get this one. I also love the name because it is so cool. I think this is from the Gwen Stefani collection. I think this collection was a year or two before I had got into nail polish.

 

3. OPI - Kiss Me Or Elf - This is just a lighter pink, it actually looks like China Glaze Better Not Pout. I think this has Christmas all over it, I really love this one. I feel I need this one even though I do have a dupe for it. It is really pretty, I would love to do some stamping over this as it would be really pretty.

 

4. OPI - I Carol About You - This is a super deep purple. It probably isn't unique at all, it looks like one that any collection or brand could have brought out. But it is really nice. This will be absolutely perfect for winter.

 

5. Ciate - Palmtree - I have this one. I do like it but it is a stainer. I was so disappointed in this one, it was nice. But I had really yellow stained nails. It really wasn't great as who wants yellow tinged nails, it just wasn't great.

I am so close to being up to date with my currently wearing. I love this nail look.

I have used Binky London Purple. My biggest pet peeve about nail polish is when the name is just the colour, no think of a cool imaginative name. I absolutely love this polish. It is created by Binky Felstead who was on Made In Chelsea. She has a pretty big collection of polishes, I got mine in my local food shop. This is such a pretty bright purple nail polish. I was certainly feeling the deep colours at the start of autumn. I used two coats with this polish. I hope to go and get more of this because it is such a great brand and one that I haven't seen many people talk about.

At the start of September, I thought I would do back to school nails.

I obviously finished school years and I do now work as a cleaner in a school. But working in a school can ruin your nails that's for sure. I also had to make my nails shorter, I really like the way this looked. I used True Brit London Taxi Cab, this is a strange nail polish. I wanted to really like it. But I feel there was something wrong with this bottle. It just didn't look right on my nails. I didn't like the brush at all, it was super hard to work with. I made cute little doddles onto the nail. I just couldn't decide what doodles to do, some weren't very good but I liked it.

So here is another currently wearing, I am slowly but surely getting up to speed. This feels like it could take forever.

I am wearing BarryM Acai Smoothie, this is such an incredible polish. BarryM is one of my favourite brands, but I don't ever seem to wear them. I have so many from them. That is one of my aims next year that I will be wearing them. I used two coats with this polish, it is just so buttery. I feel this colour really suits me. This is such an incredible formula, it is so pretty. You can still go and get this nail polish as it is sold in Superdrug and Boots. This would look beautiful with some delicate flowers or some sort of lace printing.
