TAG | If You Were An Indie Maker..

So this is a brand new tag which was created by the lovely George over at Georges_nails83. She did this tag over on her YouTube channel. Click here to see her YouTube! I would if some more people did this tag, because it is a very good one. Right lets go.

1.If you were to create your own indie polishes what would you call your brand?

This is a hard one actually, I would call it snail nails lol because people always think that's what my instagram name is.

2. What would your first indie collection be and why?
It would be based on football. My other love is football and I am such a boy when it comes to watching football ha-ha. So I would base the whole collection on that. I would absolutely love to do this.

3. Describe one polish from your first collection
As it would be football based, my polish would be a deep blue. This would be a gorgeous blue and based on my team, Tottenham. Maybe it would have a little shimmer running through it because shimmer makes everything better right?

4. What's your favourite indie polish finish?
I think it would have to be shimmer or crème. But I have to be honest that I haven't tried many indies yet. I am still exploring when it comes with them.

5. Is there an indie maker who inspires you?
Ard As Nails, because Kat is always making so many new collections and puts so much into her brand. It is also one of my favourite brands.

6. What is your favourite indie bottle shape/ what would you use?
I would use a square bottle, there is quite a lot of brands that use square bottles and they a perfect. Also it has to be a wide brush, skinny brushes I don't like as much.

7. Is there an indie polish that you wish was made slightly different?

No I don't. I haven't used that many yet so I can't really have an opinion on the polishes yet.

8. An indie brand you don't own but would like to try

There are a lot of UK indie brands I still need to try. I want to try night owl and there's another brand called Turtle Tootsies. I think I want them because of the names. But the more UK indie brand that I want to try is Coze, Prism and elune polish.

9. If you were to do a collobaration with an indie maker who would it be?
I think it would be a UK indie brand because you have to support all these girls doing well in the nail polish community.

BLOGMAS #14 | A-Z Challenge

BLOGMAS #10 | TAG You Might Be A Nail Polish Fantatic If..

I have a tag post, I have been meaning to post this for ages and have written it all out in my nail notebook but I haven't had time to actually post it.

 

1. Have you ever stopped driving because the sun just caught the sparkle of your holographic polish. What is your all time favourite holo? - I actually don't drive so I won't be pulling over anytime soon. But my favourite holographic polish is Natural Collection - Stardust. This is an absolutely beautiful silver holographic. I hope next year i will be able to get more holographic polishes next year as I don't have that many.  

 

2. You know the following terms; holo, sqouval, 3-free and blurple. What are you favourite blurple polish? - I know what all of those terms mean, but we have 5-free. I don't own any blurples or not that I can remember anyway.

3. You plan your vacation based on the brands available there. Which countries do you own (or want to own) polishes from? - I own quite a few American/Australian brands like Picture Polish. I want to try lots of brands in the USA, Sinful Colors even though I have tried them we just don't get very often. I also want to try Pure Ice and Wet N Wild.

 

4. You've slept in the parking lot of Sally Beauty because of 75% off clearance sale starts tomorrow. Where do you go for the best nail polish deals? - I would never ever stay in a parking lot just for a sale that's just stupid ha-ha. I usually go to Poundland and TkMaxx for the best deals.

 

5. You don't like the colour pink but still own 50 bottles of it. Have you ever purchased a polish/colour/finish but you had no idea why once you got it home? - No I like the colour pink. I am usually good when it comes to buying polishes. I always like them.

 

6. You've set an alarm to notify you 15 minutes before the next indie sale goes live. Which is your favourite indie brand and why? - My favourite UK indies are pretty perfect polish and ard as nails. I have never ever set an alarm though.

 

7. You've spent more money on a bottle of polish than lunch. What's the most expensive nail polish you've ever purchased and why? - I have purchased £12.00 Superchic Lacquer - Awkward Turtle. I have always wanted to try this nail polish.

 

8. You started a YT/IG channel so you can converse with others in nail speak? What's the craziest thing you've ever done in the name of getting your hands on a nail polish? - I have never done anything crazy because my life isn't really that crazy ha-ha.

 

9. You are on a first name basis with every drug store sales clerk within a 20 mile radius of your home. Which brand has your favourite bottle shape? Which is your least favourite bottle shape. - No I don't know any shop assistants names or anything. I love the china glaze bottle shapes and my least favourite is Nicole by opi.

 

10. You know the difference between cyan, cerulean and Prussian blue. What is the unusual colour/finish you own? - I probably don't know the difference between any of those blues ha-ha. The most unusual polishes I own are Polish Me Royalty and New Look Petrol.

 

11. You think the colour of your neighours new car would make a great polish. Ugly/pretty colours, yes or no? - YES YES YES. Ugly pretty colours are my absolute favourite shades. I just love them all.

 

12. You've moved to a bigger house so that there's room for your collection. How do you store and organise your collection? - I would love to move to have bigger room for my collection. I will be doing a blog post on how I store it soon.

 

13. You've planned a shopping trip with your girlfriends just so you can make sure you visit TKmaxx/Ulta/Rite Aid in that town. What's your favourite place out of town purchase? - I haven't ever bought anything out of town other than the UK. This really bugs me that we cant get all that beautiful polish.

 

14. You've sent nail mail, where is the furthest you have ever sent nail polish to? - Again I'm really boring, I haven't sent any nail mail. We actually can't send any nail polish out of the UK.

 

15. You've named a pet Zoya or Essie. What is your favourite mainstream brand? - My favourite brand is Models Own or BarryM.

 

Results!
If you said yes to at least 5 questions, you're still fairly normal. The seeds of fanaitiscim hasn't settled in yet. Oh i am disappointed I want to be crazy about nail polish.

TAG | One And Only

This is a TAG which has been going aroud on youtube. I decided I would pick out my 'one and only' polishes. This is basically polishes that you only have one of from a brand. I am just mentioning I have actually only worn 5 of these polishes oops. I am splitting this up into mainstream and indies.

Mainstream

I have Illamasqua Venous which I got in a giveaway, this is just a straight up teal crème. I cannot wait to get this on my nails. Boutique Bolt Out Of The Blue, I have only just recently wore this and it is very pretty and I have to say I didn't expect much f it as it was from the supermarket. But I was very impressed. SpaRitual Blend is what I currently have on my nails, as I am so behind with my blogposts you might see this one day (sorry). Lottie London Hipster is absolutely beautiful, I wore this earlier in the year and I now need more. Leighton Denny Blue Breeze, this is such a stunning polish and I am so happy I picked it up in TkMaxx. I have L'Oreal Independence Day, this is a dotty polish and I am waiting to wear this for 4th of July. Miss Beauty Mermaid is a stunning turquoise green polish. H&M Blue My Mind, I have worn this on only one nail and really wasn't keen on it. I really need to get the newer bottles. CND Vinylux Wisteria Haze, I got this in a nailbox, it is very pretty lilac and really can't wait to wear it. Morgan Taylor Best Ball Gown Ever, I have never seen a polish this pretty before. It has so many colours running through it and I will be wearing this soon. Formula X Rush, I found this in TkMaxx and this is from America. It is like a burnt rusty shade.

Indie I have Superchic Lacquer Awkward Turtle, which has turned a completely different colour. I have shaken it and yet it hasn't changed back which is so annoying. Cirque Colours Halycon, this is a beautiful rose gold pink colour. I have Celestial Kastamiro Damior, this is really nice deep green. This just needs to be worn soon because I love the look of it. I have Cupcake Polish Berry Good Looking, this is such a talked about polish so I just needed it. AEngland Saint George, I am not sure if this is classed as an indie brand. But it is a beautiful green. I have Delush Polish Papa Was A Rolling Scone, this is a gorgeous lilac crelly with circle glitters running through it. Chaos & Crocodiles On My Own, is a gorgeous brown holographic and I am in love with this. Colors By Llarowe Siren's Song, this is such a unique polish. I have never seen a polish like this before, it is absolutely gorgeous. The last polish is iScream Nails Grasshopper Pie. I am in love wit the bottles they're so cute.

TAG | Ugly Pretty Colours

This was supposed to be up ages ago, no idea why I forgot about it. But anyway, this is my ugly pretty colours. This was a tag which was set up by Clare Gray over on Youtube. If you don't go and watch her videos then I suggest you go over now. She is amazing!

Ugly Pretty colours are probably my favourite nail polishes colours. I am obsessed with them all. I have BarryM Mustard, this is the perfect autumn polish. I cannot wait to wear this next year as I have ideas already. The next one is OPI Uh Oh Roll Down The Window, what a funny name but this is such a ugly colour but I am in love with it. Primark Brulee, now this is more of a mauve polish than a brown. But I can see why people wouldn't pick this up because it might not be the prettiest. NYC Midtown Mink, this is a really deep chocolate brown. You can't pick up NYC in shops anymore, they got rid of all of the stands. So this may not be relatively available anymore. This is AVON Marmalady, this seems to have featured quite a bit yet I still haven't worn it. China Glaze Harvest Moon, this is absolutely perfect for Halloween time. It is beautiful. Now this one is just like radioactive slime, Models Own Flip Flop, I have never loved a polish as much as this one in my life. I am so happy I have already worn this. The next polish is Sally Hansen Tippy Taupe, I am an absolute sucker for brown polishes, I have no idea what my fascination with them are but I love them. The next one is BeautyUK Urban Jungle, this has a special place in my heart. When I did my teaching assistant apprenticeship, one of the little boys said it looked like sick (it does I know!). I will always keep this polish reminding me of my time there. The last polish I have mentioned is AVON Citrionized, this is a very weird colour but I love it.

TAG | Polishes That Are Me In A Bottle

This was a perfect tag for me. This is the polishes that are me in a bottle. This may be that they represent me or you think of me when you see a polish colour or formula.

First I have Essie Bikini So Teeny, this is a different polish that I would usually go for. I mean I absolutely love blue nail polishes and cornflower blue is one of my favourite polishes.

 

The next one is BeautyUK Urban Jungle, this is such a poopy colour but I absolutely love colours like this. Look out for the blog post of ugly pretty colours. This is such a disgusting colour in reality, but this is my favourite colour. I think these sort of colours represents me so much in a bottle.

 

Now Models Own Flip Flop, this is such a radioactive polish. I absolutely love this, it is such a disgusting colour and so different to anything I have in my collection. I know a lot of people liked this one because it is so different and this is me in a bottle.

 

OPI Uh Oh Roll Down The Window - I am sure if other people did this tag they wouldn't chose this one. Nope it isn't a great colour but this is just me. I absolutely love these colours and I feel comfortable when I am wearing these. There is something about this colour that just makes me so happy.

Orly Snowcone, blues are one of my favourite colours on my nails and I absolutely love this. I know this is a very popular polish as I am sure you are all aware too. This is always being talked about.

 

Models Own Emerald Green, this again is one of my favourite polishes ever. It is emerald green with a stunning gold dust running through it. I am so happy with this one, if you can pick it up I would highly recommend this one..

 

KIKO 296 Green Meadow, the formula of this polish wasn't great but again this makes me happy. Any green nail polish makes me happy actually no matter what kind of green it will be on my nails.

 

Essie Sew Psyched - I don't see this one talked about as much as other essies and it makes me sad. This is one of my all time favourite polishes, if I wasn't doing the untried year I would defiantly have this on my nails again. It is a silky smooth khaki green and it is perfect for all year round. Also a perfect formula for Essie.

 

Rimmel Hottie Choccie, I am obsessed with brown polishes. I know this is a brown with orange running through and this makes me happy. I wish brown nail polishes got talked about more often. I don't know what it is brown polishes that makes me feel good, but they really do.

 

China Glaze Better Not Pout. Now this one you probably wouldn't think that would represent me. I am a pink fan but I don't feel as comfortable when I wear it as I do when I have greens and blues. But this pink did stand out for me when I tried it.

 

I would love if you would tell me what polishes that is you in a bottle and what colours do you prefer wearing. Also is there any green polishes you want to buy (I mean I don't need persuading honest!)

TAG | Polishes I Bought For The Names

So this is a TAG that has been floating round for a while, it was recently on YouTube so this is why I have finally picked out the polishes that I have just bought for the name. This was hard actually, to be honest and there actually is a few polishes that I want just for the name. But I am putting myself on a no-buy.

 

Models Own - Hayley's Comet - This is a duochrome polish, it shifts from a red to a blue shade. My name is Hayley so that was the main reason of getting this polish. It is very sheer and I only have tried it on one finger and didn't like it, so hopefully I will use it with a black polish and maybe fall in love with it again.

 

ILNP - Sweater Weather - I bought this for the name because I am that person that is always in a sweater, we call it a jumper in the UK. But I am that person, no matter how warm it gets I always have a jumper with me. I feel it is some sort of comfort ha-ha.

 

Delush Polish - Papa Was A Rolling Scone - First of all the name is the best name of a polish I have ever seen. It is absolutely hilarious I love it ha-ha. The polish is stunning, hopefully I will find some time to wear it next year or this year. I have a plan when it comes to what polishes I wear.

 

OPI - Uh Oh Roll Down The Window - It is hilarious just because it reminds me of something so disgusting. I mean this polish is always talked about when it comes to an ugly/pretty colour. I love love it so much. I am still yet to wear it though that is the only problem.

 

Nine Zero Lacquer - Cat In The Christmas Tree - If you are a cat owner, you all have had that moment when the cat decides to climb in the Christmas tree, yes my cat has done it several times. This is the main reason why I bought this nail polish for the name.

 

OPI - Is That A Spear In Your Pocket? - OPI what a naughty name ha-ha. How funny though, I don't know why I find this name so funny. But I do. Also the colour of this is absolutely stunning.

 

China Glaze - We Got The Beet - This instantly makes me want to sing, I just love it. The colour of this is absolutely stunning too which always helps. I will be wearing this at some point in the year. I think it is gorgeous pink.

 

AVON - Marmalady - It is an unusual colours in my collection. But I love a weird colour it is always one of my favourite colours.  I just love the name but I don't actually like marmalade.

Collab | Valentine's Day & Single Awareness

It is February 14th as I write this. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I am a single lady and always have been (oh that comes across really sad!). I decided I would do the collab that I saw on YouTube. Obviously I have never been with anyone, I struggled with some of these. But I decided just imagine I am on a date or even my wedding night ha-ha. Only joking, I just decided to do it because it looked like a great idea.

 

1. Favourite Bright Red - As you know I really don't like red nail polishes. But I chose Rimmel - Double Decker Red which actually is my go to red for nail art. Whenever I need a red, this will always be the one I gravitate too.

 

2. Favourite Vampy Red - Hmm well this isn't a red, but it is a vampy. I don't use reds so I don't really have many. But this is Nails Inc - Kensington High Street, this is beautiful. I wore this at the start of my untried year. It is more like a purple but I am saying it can be a red. Here it is being worn here.

 

3. Favourite Sweetheart Pink - I don't know whether I am being really stupid or what, but I couldn't work out what a sweetheart pink was. I chose OPI - Kiss Me I'm Brazilian. This is a stunning Barbie pink which I haven't worn. But does this class as my favourite, probably not ha-ha.

 

4. Favourite Hot Pink - Now this I absolutely love, I wore this last year. It is a ONE COATER. You don't get many one coaters, well I don't seem to get many. But this is stunning, have a look at it here when I wore it last year. It is Essie - Haute In The Heat.

 

5. Favourite Baby Pink - This is one of my all time favourite nail polishes and BarryM. I don't have a recent post to show you because this is a polish that I have always worn. It was before I really got into nail polish. The polish is BarryM - Strawberry Ice Cream. It is a bit sheer but perfect for a base for nail art.

 

6. Favourite Wedding Polish - I haven't got married or plan to get married for a while, need to find myself a man first ha-ha. I haven't got a wedding to go to until my cousin gets married in 2018. I decided I would pick any polish for this. It would probably be a nude or whatever colour I plan on wearing that time.

 

7. Favourite Date Night Polish - This doesn't really mean much because I am not going on a date. I would wear a green nail polish as that is my favourite colour on my nails. I love it or even a brown holo as I have picked up a few recently.

 

8. Favourite Nail Art For Valentine's - At the moment I am doing the Glam Nail Challenge, if you want to look at my nail art. I haven't finished it yet as I still have a few prompts to be posted. There will be a tag when I completely finished it, so keep your eyes peeled for a few more nail art designs.

 

9. Single Awareness Polish -  As I am single I would decide to wear whatever I want. As I have such a huge collection I would wear any colour that I want. Single awareness means wear whatever colour you want to because it doesn't matter.

 

10. Favourite Anti- Valentine Polish - The other nail polish colour that I love is brown. I know that sounds weird but I love brown nail polishes. They are always my favourite, nope I don't know why ha-ha. But I only ever wear it at winter and I have a small obsession of holos coming through my collection too. My favourite brown would be Models Own - Hot Chocolate.

TAG | Unpopular Opinions

Okay this post was meant to be posted months ago, I completely forgot about it and this is why I am only remembering now. I was tagged by the lovely Catherine over on youtube 'MrsCronall' If you want to do this tag I would love if you did.

1. A Popular Polish You Don't Like - I am not sure if this really counts as I don't actually own it. But it is OPI - Lincoln Park After Dark. This is a really strange polish, it is like a blood deep red. I am not into my reds so this wouldn't be the polish for me. To be honest I have seen a lot of swatches and they do look pretty on other people.

 

2. A Polish Everyone Hates But You Like - Mine would be bar glitter, yes that pet peeve of nail bloggers ha-ha. But I do love it, I can see why people don't like it when it sticks up and you get that really annoying scratchy thing on the nail. But I think I will be wearing a bar glitter soon.

 

3. A Nail Polish Finish You Don't Like - I think it will be matte nail polish. I tried AVON Grey Cement and I just couldn't work with it. I like to take my time applying but when you have to apply it super quick and that isn't for me. I am sure that it looks good but I found it was all patchy and just looked awful.

 

4. A Popular Brand That You Think Is Overpriced - I have to say Butter London. Most people actually said the same too. I have two polishes which funnily I am yet to use them. I got one at full price and then the other one I picked it up at TKMaxx.

5. A Trend You Can't Get On Board With - Chrome Powder, it kind of went a bit crazy over the stuff in the last couple of months. I am a patient person when it comes to doing my nails, but I don't think I would be able to keep up with that. It may look nice but I would be worried I'd completely mess it up.

 

6. A Trend You Didn't Like At It's Peak But You Do Now - Thermal and magnetic. I wasn't keen on the look of thermal polishes, I thought they looked odd. But I got one for my birthday last year and I loved it. I was fascinated at how it just changed. Magnetic is one I haven't really tried but I will be soon because it looks cool.

 

7. A Colour You Don't Wear Often Or At All - Red I really don't like the colour, I don't think it suits me that much. I am interested in picking up China Glaze Ruby Pumps. I do like the look of that, so I think I may pick that up.

 

8. A Polish You Think Is Overhyped - OPI Show Us Your Tips. I really like it actually but I was disappointed that it was pretty sheer. It is very pretty but I didn't realise how sheer it was, I love the colour as it such a unique one.

 

9. A Popular Top Coat You Don't Like - Mine has to be Seche Vite, I was so disappointed because it would smear especially when it did it to my nail art. It can be quite gloopy, I am still yet to find one I like.

 

10. A Nail Polish That Doesn't Get Enough Love - I think the Rimmel Gel polishes, the only one I have is Hottie Choccie. It was one of my favourite polishes of 2016.

Collab | My Nail Polishes First

I am here today which a big post, this is actually a collab. I wasn't originally in the collab but I asked Clare Gray who created it if I could do a blog post about it and she said yes. So here I am. If you want to watch Clare's video it is here.

1) First OPI - I am not sure that this is my first OPI. But I am taking a guess that it actually is. This is OPI Wooden Shoe Like To Know. I do love brown nail polishes that's probably why I bought this one. It is so pretty and I do have a ever growing OPI collection.

 

2) First Essie - The first Essie polish is Angora Cardi. This is actually one of my favourite nail polishes in my entire collection. I absolutely love this, it actually could be a one coater but I usually prefer having it with two coats.

3) First China Glaze - My first china glaze was White On White. I actually got this in one of my nailbox. I know its quite a boring colour really. But I do like it, it may not be the best of whites which is frustrating. I know we always look for that perfect white.

 

4) First Home Country Nail Polish - I chose BarryM. BarryM is one of the biggest UK nail polish brands. I love them and I have to admit they are my favourite brands. I chose BarryM Berry Ice Cream, I am not sure if this was my first BarryM. I absolutely love this nail polish and I love it.

5) First Indie Polish - Okay I am not sure if this is classed as a indie polish. But it is Picture Polish Ornate. This is one of my favourite polishes, I love it. Picture Polish is slowly becoming a brand that I feel everyone has one of ha-ha. But it is so amazing, I may need to get more of these polishes in 2017. As if I need anymore polishes oops.

6) First Holographic Polish - Can you believe it I only got this one this year. I have seriously missed out on holographic polishes. So I will be getting so many more in 2017 I hope so anyway. This is Natural Collection Stardust.

 

7) First Glitter Topper - My favourite glitter topper is Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch. This is actually one of my all time favourite polishes. I feel this goes well with so many polishes. I may need to get a back up as I don't want it running out.

8) First Nail Art Tool - My first tools were nail art brushes. I actually got these ages ago. I have to say that I am not sure how I use them or even clean them oops. I am not the greatest when it comes to nail art but I am getting there.

 

9) First Base Coat - My first base coat was Superdrug Base Coat, Strengthening and Nail Growth. I have no idea why I still even have this, I cant remember the last time I used this. I am clearly keeping this for sentimental reasons.

10) First Top Coat - I am pretty sure I have never used this. I am so bad at this. I am going to use this with my next manicure actually as I am not a fan with mine. This is Miss Sporty Clear. I suppose I could use this as a top coat right.

TAG | Desert Island Polishes

I have another tag post for you today, which was created again by the fabulous Mrs Cronall on YouTube. I suggest you all go and watch her videos, click here. If you remembered she created the Breast Cancer Awareness pink tag. So here is another tag.

 

This tag is what polishes would you tag on a desert island with you. I have to say, buy this was tricky. I have decided I would just pick some favourites and colours that I loved wearing. I will go through every polish for you.

The first polish is Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch Glitter, this is actually my favourite glitter as a topper of course. I love this over any colour, I am thinking do I need a new bottle of it as I don't want to run low. The last time I wore this was for my Halloween nails, look at the post.

 

The next polish is BarryM Guava (post here), this is one of my all time favourite nail polishes. I absolutely love it. BarryM done a great job with Gelly Hi-Shine's and I wish I could get every single one. Guava is a really pretty turquoise shade. This is perfect on long nails and maybe with some nail art.

I absolutely love this polish, this is the reason that I need so many more picture polish. This is Picture Polish Ornate (post here). I suggest you go out and check polish out as it is so incredible. This would look great in a desert island though.

 

I have to admit the next polish would look great in the sun, wow this would be super shiny. This is Natural Collection Stardust (post here). This is such a great polish. its stunning and super cheap as well. They actually don't sell this anymore, I was planning to get a back up but I cant find it anywhere.

 

The next polish is one of my favourites, this will be great on the desert island if I am on there for months until Autumn. This is such an autumn polish. This is China Glaze Cabin Fever (post here). If you haven't picked this nail polish up, you need to. It is incredible.

I have Models Own Blue Glint (post here). I wore this polish just as I was starting wearing my blog. I kind of wish I wasn't in the untried year so I can wear some of these beauties again.

Now this may be my favourite polish I ever own. Its super beautiful and periwinkle polish. Its Seventeen Azure Amore (post here). This is so so beautiful. I could talk about this all day to be honest, it is stunning also super cheap.

 

The next polish is OPI I Have A Herring Problem (post here), I am covering all bases for this desert island. I have so many options. This is a greyish blue shade. Its really pretty and kind of unique to my collection just because I haven't seen a polish like this before.

 

I have another BarryM polish, BarryM Cardomom (post here). I do love green polishes and this is one of my favourites. It is gorgeous. This goes perfect for autumn in my opinion. I wish all brands had colours like this.

The last polish I have was only worn very recently and this is Essie Warm & Toasty Turtleneck (post here). I was surprised how much I loved this polish, it is so pretty. I am so happy that I finally wore it because it had been a while since a polish fell into my favourites so soon.

I also am hoping that I could bring my base & top coat. The base coat I would have is Elegant Touch Nail Apothecary and top coat would be Champneys. I would also have Nivea hand cream because you always need one.  

TAG | Breast Cancer Awareness

This is a brand new tag which was created by the lovely Mrs Cronall on Youtube and instagram. Seeing as this month is Halloween I haven't had the chance to do a pink nail just for breast cancer awareness, so when I saw this tag I knew I was going to take part in it. So carry on reading all about my favourite pinks.

1. Favourite Neon Pink - My favourite neon pink is from Models Own - Bubblegum, I don't have a huge range of neon pinks. I actually haven't worn this one either so does it count as my favourite. Probably not (oops!). But it is a really bright pink and its calling out to be worn in the summer.

2. Favourite Indie Pink - I have chose Picture Polish - Ornate, is picture polish even classed as an indie. I am classing it as one though, it is such a beautiful pink/purple. I wore this earlier in the year and absolutely loved it. You can read it here. I love the way it looked on my nails, it was so smooth on my nails. It took just 2 simple coats.

3. Favourite Drugstore/Budget Pink - This could have been so many polishes to choose from. But in the end I chose KIKO - Apple Blossom which is only £3.90. That is so cheap considering how many nail polishes they actually sell. I used this when I did strawberry nails, post here. I absolutely love this polish it is one of my favourites. It is such a simple colour yet I love it so much.

4. Favourite Pastel Or Light Pink - This was one of my first BarryM nail polishes it is BarryM -Strawberry Ice Cream. I don't have a great swatch of this polish because the pictures were so bad. But I have used a few times which is a shock for me. I really love this polish when the untried year is over I will use it again very soon.

 

5. Favourite Medium Pink - I chose Miss Sporty - Cotton Candy, I could have had so many polishes for this category. I used this here for Valentine's day a couple years ago.  I really like miss sporty polishes they don't get talked about much. But I haven't got many so will need to try and get some more.

6. Favourite Dark Pink - Now I wasn't really sure when it come to medium and dark pink. But I found one anyway, I have Seche - Rendezvous, I used it here. I cant remember how many coats I used but it would probably have been two. I really love this polish and Seche is brand I could go and look for some more.

7. Favourite Pink With Glitter - This is another polish I haven't used but I felt it was just right for this post. It is KIKO - Pearly Glaze Pink. It is a beautiful pink with silver glitter running through it. I don't know how chunky the glitter is obviously as I avent used it. But my mission is for it to be used in the untried year in 2017. This would be a perfect valentines day polish.

8. Favourite Pink With Shimmer Or Holographic - This confused me a bit, just because the polish I chose I wasn't sure if it leaned into a purple or a pink. It is Beauty UK - Cotton Candy. Another polish called cotton candy, it has a bit of holo in it as it reflects to a different colour.

9. Favourite Pink Glitter Topper Or Full Coverage Glitter - I used Danglefoot Wine O'clock. I have used this once at the start of the year, you can read this here. Danglefoot is one of my favourite UK indie brands and you should all go and check this out. Wine O'clock was opaque in two/three coats.

10. Favourite Pink Jelly Or Metallic - The polish for this category is Revlon - Ginger Melon. It is a jelly polish, its an odd polish but I really liked it. It is such a pretty pink and it was also scented.  You can read this post here. It was an odd consistency but I liked the polish, I just felt it was pretty strange.

TAG | The Nail Polish TAG

I have decided that I would do the nail polish TAG. I feel that you don't know me well enough for example you don't really know what polishes I like and that. But I am sure that you will enjoy this. This TAG has been quite popular and I am clearly very behind. So lets get started with the questions..

 

1. What is your favourite nail polish brand?

I think it would probably have to be BarryM, I am sure everyone has got a few of there nail polishes in there collection. But I have tried lots of polishes as well and Models Own. So I think it would have to be BarryM and Models Own.

 

2. Glitter, or no Glitter?
It would have to be glitter, I do love my glitter nail polishes, but that's quite a hard one because I like having nails without glitter and with. But I would defiantly say with glitter.

 

3. OPI, China Glaze or Essie?

I haven't tried China Glaze polishes, but I have got OPI and Essie polishes. But I haven't actually used them yet. So I cant really answer this question just yet.

 

4. When do you change your nail polish?

Every week usually, if I get the chance to change them than I will.

 

5. What's your favourite colour on your nails?

I have to say I really enjoy green shades on my nails, I feel they are so pretty and I just love them. I also like having nudes on my nails like for example - BarryM Lychee - that's one of my favourites.

 

6. Dark or bright?

This is a hard question because I love both bright and dark polishes. I think I like dark polishes. Especially dark browns and greys.

 

7. What are you wearing on your nails at the moment?

I am wearing NYC - Park Ave and then I have Technic - Celebration on two of my fingers. Celebration is a black polish with silver glitter mixed in and Park Ave is a light brown.

 

8. Matte nails, in or out?

Out I think I haven't actually tried matte nail polishes for a while.

 

9. French Manicure?

I have never had a French manicure before or even done my own manicure.

 

10. Favourite summer colours?

I have got a lot of summer colours, bright pinks and blues and I have got a new neon purple as well. Once it gets to summer I will do a post of all my summer polishes.

Tag | The Rainbow Tag

This is my rainbow tag. I have always seen this on blog posts. But instead of doing different make-up items. I thought seeing as this is a nail polish blog I would do a rainbow edition with nail polish. Also this post is very picture heavy.

RED

Avon - Cherry Choc

I usually don't like red nail polishes. But this nail polish is so pretty. I do really like it.

YELLOW

Rimmel - Round and Round In Cirlces

This is brand new so I don't know what this nail polish looks like on the nails. But I have decided to use this as it is the only yellow I actually own.

GREEN

BarryM - Key Lime

This is one of my favourite greens and BarryM have got some gorgeous greens. As they are gelly hi-shines they are perfect.

ORANGE

Nails Inc - Atomic

This polish is one of my favourite oranges. I love how creamy this polish comes across on the nails.

BLUE

Models Own - Blueberry Muffin

This is a pale colour, but it is blue. I really love this polish. It is like a subtle blue. I love this and models own is one of my favourite nail polishes.

INDIGO

H&M - Blue My mind

I know you are probably thinking "this is more blue, but it is a really deep blue. If you think about it. I really like this polish and H&M have got good nail polishes.

VIOLET

Purple - Nails UK

This is one of my favourite purple colours, I have no idea what brand this is called as it is unbranded. But this is such a pretty polish colour.
