I have got another Hayley's cartoon nails for you guys. This was supposed to be Wallace from 'Wallace & Gromit' when I deided to do this, sadly the person who did the voice of Wallace passed away.

I used ELF Party Purple, this was a strange polish. The first oat was very watery but it didn't run down my fingers which I expected when I applied it. The second coat levelled it out much better, but I did have bald patches and could have probably done with a third coat just to make it better. But I kept it with two. I have to admit this was an absolute nail fail, it didn't go as well as I was hoping. The yellow thing you see there is actually a block of cheese because that is what he ate all the time. I am a little disappointed with how it went, but you always practice.

I have another currently wearing for you today, lets see what I chose to do for the Glam nail challenge.

 

The prompt of this was kisses, I had such a cool idea to do lips. But well that was easier said than done that's for sure. I was really looking forward to this nail art design, but some nails come out quite well. I used ELF Glamour Girl, hmm this nail polish was tricky. It looks nice on the nails here yes, but realistically it was weird. Some nails it went on perfectly well, then others it was just a clear base with some gold running through it. It had completely separated in the time I had just use it. I am not sure why it was doing this. But luckily it was fine after a big shake. I did like this polish as it was completely different to what I would usually wear. I also hadn't worn elf in a long while.

This is the second challenge in the glam nail challenge. I will tag them all so you are able to see each nail art post that I have or will do when I take part in these nail art challenges.

The second theme was cotton candy. I have to admit this was super hard, I had no idea what to do for this. I just looked at so many pictures and I thought that isn't what candy floss looks like at all. Candy floss is what its called in the UK, but I found this design pretty cute. I used Maybelline - Nude Rose with ELF - Fairy Dust over the top of it. I think the little candy floss looks super cute and quite cartoony really. I am impressed with myself. I feel the glitter quite lacks some colour even though it was quite holographic, it didn't seem to show up in this picture. The Maybelline polish I used was opaque in two coats. I remember using this before and absolutely hating it just because it was so watery. But I liked it and felt that it was a lot better than I remembered. I may need to pick up more Maybelline polishes.
