Can we talk about how good this picture is, I am actually impressed with how well this looks.

The prompt for this was April showers. If you don't live in the UK, you may not know that it always rains in the UK. So basically we have sunny days then the weather is awful. But when I painted these the next day it was absolutely gorgeous weather. It was bright sunshine, pretty hot so this wasn't appropriate ha-ha. I am wearing Avon Dusty Fog, which is a perfect colour for fog nails. It is like a beige/brown. I love colours like this. I decided I would do really cute clouds because doesn't smiley clouds make everything better. I have also some umbrellas which I found rather tricky to draw on. This polish took 2 coats and I love it.

This is the first nimy nail challenge. If you don't know nimynails is an instragrammer as well as a nail polish uk indie brand. I decided I would put the tag as 'nimy nail challenge' because there isn't a proper name for it. So lets get going.

 

I have got Kiko 360 Strawberry Pink, this is a gorgeous summery pink. I  have so many pink polishes yet I barely get round to wearing them. I promise I will get round to wearing more pinks. This took 2 coats, this was quite a gelly formula which I wasn't sure about. But I did really like this. I was inspired by 25sweetpeas, her instagram is absolutely amazing. There was only a few days difference of when she posted it ad I was inspired by it. It is the cutest nail art I have done this year. I did a cute flower crown on the rabbit which I have never seen before. I have the cutest flower accent nail. I am very impressed with how this looks.

So what is my excuse of me posting this so late, I hear you ask. Well I actually have no excuse. I am sorry for being such a terrible nail blogger.

 

BarryM Pink Lemonade 'Lemon Nail Art'
I am so happy with how this turned out. I was inspired by Hannah_nails_it once again. She is just super talented. I loved doing the lemons as it is something completely different to what I would usually do on my nails. But I love the pink nail polish, it is such a beautiful shade. I am not the biggest wearer of pink but I am glad that I got this one.
 

BarryM Prickly Pear 'Easter Bunny Nails'
I was inspired by nailsbyjema for this nail look. I love her, she is always an inspiration. I absolutely love this polish, it is really pretty. I love this purple and the cute carrots were just so cute. I actually made my friends choose which Easter nails I should do and this was the one they said to do.

Technic White Sands 'Mosaic Nail art'
I used Technic White Sands which is a very nice white. I loved doing the mosaic because it didn't really matter how messy they were because I could fill it in with different colours. But I am so ready to do this nail art again, maybe in 2019 because I have too many nail art ideas.

Tanya Burr New York Night 'Aldi Carrot Nail Art'
This was my Christmas nail art and I was very impressed by how these turned out. The Aldi advert was basically a family of carrots. Yes this is totally normal when you say it out loud ha-ha. There was a mum, dad and the three children. The purple was quite dark but I liked it.


Essence Happy Girls Shine Brighter 'Rainbow Nail Art'
Essence is such a beautiful pink, I absolutely loved the shimmer running through it. This was one of my favourite polishes in 2017. The nail art was for Tippedoffnails birthday collab. I found a nail art on instagram and this was perfect to do for the theme.


Sally Hansen Coin Flip 'Square Nail Art'
This was for a glam nails challenge and I had to do squares. It is a little strange really because squares isn't something that I would put on my nails usually. But I was very impressed with how it went and I would absolutely love to do it again.


Models Own White Light 'Octopus Nails'
Again another white polish, this wasn't the best white. I think it might have been the brush that made it a little messy. But aren't they the cutest octopus you will ever see. Yes they are. I used so many different colours. I was inspired by onenailtorulethemall, she was one of my favourite bloggers when I first started reading blogs.


Kiko 707 Blue Mermaid 'Toy Story Alien Nails'
I decided I would do this for my Disney challenge where I did a Disney nail art every month. This is lovely. I was really happy when I decided to do this because it turned out very well. The polish was really nice as well, this was the first time that I worked with the glossy nail lacquer.


Sinful Colors Baby Doll 'Envelope Nails'
This was one of my vakentine day nails. I really liked this nail art but sadly the nail polish stained pretty badly. I wouldn't recommend this nail polish at all as a baby pink shouldn't stain me. But this envelope nail art is so cute. I already have in mind what nail art to do for valentines day in 2019.

I want to apologise for how bad this picture is, the lighting isn't the greatest.

The prompt of this was Easter eggs. I had a cute idea for this one but decided I didn't want to do it. I had found inspiration on the cutest card which was Disney eggs. I absolutely love this and think this is one of the cutest things that I have done. I used Technic Violet. I am so happy with how these nails turned out I love them. The owner of the shop who made the cards also shared it on her page.

Topic Tuesdays | #08

I have got another Topic Tuesday that isn't on a Tuesday. Shock ha-ha. This prompt is current wishlist and current lemming list. If you don't know what a lemming is, it is hard to find polishes.

Current Wishlist

My current wishlist is Nine Zero Lacquer Singer Auto Salvage, this is a mossy green which is absolutely beautiful. It isn't like anything that I already own. It is a very unique polish and this would be perfect for the autumn months. The next polish I want is Picture Polish Cactus, this is a spring like green. It is just so pretty. I have China Glaze Glamletics, this is a cornflower/periwinkle shade. I know I have lots of these in my collection but there was something about it when I saw the swatches. I have so many other polishes in my wishlist, but I will stick to three ha-ha.

Current Lemming List
My current lemming list is Essie Spellbound, this was from the latest gel couture line. I had been looking at this polish for so long and now it has sold out because they have got a new collection in. I am actually on the hunt for this polish. I have Essie Baguette Me Not, I wanted this polish just because of the name. But it was quite a unique polish so I will be also hunting that down on ebay or amazon. I also want Essie Passport To Happiness which I don't think I will ever ever be able to find because its pretty old now. China Glaze Watermelon Rind is a very old polish also, a gorgeous green. I seen quite a few swatches and fell in love with it. But sadly it was before my polish addiction started.

Here is my currently wearing, I am slowly but surely getting through them.

I am wearing Primark Dolce, this is a gorgeous polish. I followed this tutorial on Google. This is took 2/3 coats, I did feel it could have been a solid 2 coater but it was a little patchy so I decided to put another coat on some nails. But for 90p, I am very impressed by it. I think you should go and try them because they are very good.

This is my Easter nails. I absolutely love doing Easter nails and they are one of my favourite holidays to do for nails other than Christmas and Halloween.

The prompt was Easter chicks. I am using Models Own Dove, I love this collection. I have three of them but I regret that I didn't pick up the other two. I always make it a tradition to use these for Easter nails. But now I have run out of them ha-ha. I may have to find some more speckled nail polish. This took 2/3 coats.
