I was absolutely honoured to be invited to participate in the Cancer Awareness Collab by the amazing Chloe over at TippedOffNails. Click the link to find out more about her story and see her amazing swatches. Chloe is 6 months clear of cancer and was running race for life when this was posted. It is amazing to be a part of such an amazing community. The only prompt was to use the ribbon and paint your nails any colour you wanted. I used Miss Beauty Mermaid, which I got from Home Buys for £1.99 or £1. It is absolutely stunning, this polish will be up there for sure as a favourite at the end of the year.

                   

Here is the amazing collage, its incredible how a community can come together for something like this. The nail art community is so good on instagram, I know instagram has changed what with the algorithms and stuff which isn't great. But I have spoken to a lot of amazing people on there and hopefully it can only grow and get bigger.

Guys I am finally back. My blogging mojo is back as of today, I have lots of posts planned for this summer. I have so much to do yet I never have enough time to take the pictures, but now I do. So look out for lots of content these next two months.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. MUA - Spearmint - Okay I have officially decided, this is my perfect polish. This is beautiful and I find this to be perfect when you have a sun tan because it would make you look so amazing.

 

2. MUA - White Wash - This is very pretty and it is a white polish. I actually can't find a picture of this at all. But it is probably just like any other white polish. I am not sure if MUA even sell nail polish anymore, I actually can't remember the last time I looked at the makeup stand.

 

3. MUA - Posy - This is one of those pink polishes that can look different on any skin tone. When I was searching for this on Google, it looked really differed on my photos. I kind of like that about nail polishes, but I am not sure if this would suit me. I am more of a brighter pink and I don't even wear pink that often, so maybe I will change that.

 

4. MUA - Lavender - This is always going to be a stable in everyone's collections, I don't have this one. I also couldn't find a picture of this one anywhere. When I looked at the few swatches that I saw on this, it is very pretty and a crisp manicure.

I am slowly catching up with my currently wearing's. I finish work this week, so I am hopefully going to get much more posted because I have a lot of ideas in my mind.

 

Today I am wearing Glitter Baby Nails Water Lily. Glitter Baby nails is a UK indie brand, I am pretty sure you can still buy from her Etsy website but she hasn't posted anything on Instagram since March. So I am hoping you still can. Click on the link to see my haul from January. I love the shade, it is like the perfect Spring green. When I wore this, it was possibly one of the hottest days of the year which is brand for nail polish. This was so hard to apply, I don't know whether because it was super hot it just decided to work in the unbelievably hot UK sun (which we rarely experience!). It was pretty gloopy at you can see on one of my nails has gone a little thicker than the others. I was pretty disappointed by it, I am hoping it was just the weather making it gloopy as it isn't like it now. But overall I absolutely loved the polish, just the polish didn't love the heat which I fully agree with.

First of all how are we alrady in July, what is going on with 2017. I feel it will be Christmas before we even know it. This is only a small wishlist, I really need to update my lists and they are some old polishes and I am yet to add brand new ones on it.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. Models Own - Tropical Green - If you are thinking while reading this, I bet you have that. Well then you are right ha-ha. I haven't used it yet (shock horror!). But this the perfect grass kind of green it is bloody stunning. I am planning to do a huge swatch wheel of green beauties and this will more than likely be on there.

 

2. Models Own - Prude Nude - This polish is not me at all, but I kind of like it in a odd way. It reminds me of a interview shade. Even if you weren't allowed nail polish in your office and wanted a pretty nude shade then this would be absolutely perfect. It is very nice, just not for me.

 

3. Cheeky - Glitter Bug - I wish I could remember where I saw this brand, I just cant remember. It is a very pretty silver glitter. If only I could zoom in as I am pretty sure it is a bar glitter, I know bar glitter isn't too everybody's standards.

I have got another Hayley's cartoon nails for you guys. This was supposed to be Wallace from 'Wallace & Gromit' when I deided to do this, sadly the person who did the voice of Wallace passed away.

I used ELF Party Purple, this was a strange polish. The first oat was very watery but it didn't run down my fingers which I expected when I applied it. The second coat levelled it out much better, but I did have bald patches and could have probably done with a third coat just to make it better. But I kept it with two. I have to admit this was an absolute nail fail, it didn't go as well as I was hoping. The yellow thing you see there is actually a block of cheese because that is what he ate all the time. I am a little disappointed with how it went, but you always practice.

Monthly Haul | April

OH MY. I am so behind with these posts, wow I need to get my bum in gear and get going with these posts.

 

Here is my poundland buys, lets see what I bought. As you can see I kind of went a little crazy oops. So sinful colors have recently got the Kylie Jenner in recently. I bought Kustom Fit, Magik Touch, Acid Wash, Fuschia U! and Innocent. I then have three Revlons in Buttercup, Bonsai and Spanish Moss. I also have one Nails Inc in Glastonbury, which is am kind of gutted that I didn't wear this at the weekend just for the fun of it.

 

Then I went a bit crazy in TkMaxx and on Nail Polish Direct, John Lewis. The polishes which I bought from Nail Polish Direct were OPI Give Me Space, China Glaze - Fairy Dust, Seas & Greetings, Pearl Jammin, Good Tideings, Purple Fiction. The polishes I got from TkMaxx were Leighton Denny Blue Breeze which is actually my first Leighton Denny. I have two OPI greens in Christmas Gone Plaid and I'm Soo Swamped. The two polishes I bought (well I didn't they were bought by my dad) were OPI Meet Me At Star Ferry and Is That A Spear In Your Pocket?

 

Now this is a random haul here, I went crazy with BarryM molten metals and got holographic lights, blue glacier and gold rush. The three kikos I have a tangerine, melon and electric melon which is a blue polish. Hmmm that makes zero sense. I have two polishes from Claire's in Rome and Strawberry Glitter which is a scented polish. Also essence is becoming one of my favourite brands, Keep calm and glow on, happy girls shine brighter and good limes.

 

What a crazy haul, its fair to say I have bought a lot more since then oops. I have no problem.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?
1. Models Own - Persian Pink - I have already got this polish, it is absolutely stunning. I have been meaning to wear this soon but I keep forgetting to wear it. That's what happens when you have over 1000 polishes. I always forget what polishes I need to wear.

2. Models Own - Bermuda Blue - This is stunning, I do love me a blue. I actually thought I already had this. But I don't for some reason, I suppose I do have a lot of the hyper gel blues. I am sure I will go and get this because it is really pretty. I do love myself a blue.

3. Models Own - Caribbean Crush - I own this too ha-ha. But it absolutely stunning, of course I haven't worn it yet. I am such an awful blogger. I will get round to it one day, I promise. It is more like a deep orange.

4. Models Own - Long Beach Peach - I haven't seen many peach polishes being bought out actually. I suppose peach doesn't always suit some skin tones. I have this too but I am questioning whether it will suit my skin tone though.
