Glam Nail Challenge | May 2016

This is the final post on my Glam nail challenge, this is a collage of all the pictures that I've taken throughout the month of May. 

              

I am so happy with myself for finishing this and I absolutely loved taking part. This was really handy for my untried year too because in total I used 10 nail polishes. I feel my nail art skills have gotten a lot better as well. Out of all of these nail art designs I have one I absolutely love the bees and the flowers. I know some of them aren't great but I am learning and getting realty into nail art. You may actually see more nail art at the end of the year when I put together my favourite nail art of the year.

This is the last challenge for the glam nail challenge. 

 

The theme was punk. I had no idea what to for this theme, so I scrolled through Google and found something like this. It was pink punk, I loved it. I'm not into black nails so I thought it sad perfect. I used AVON Parfait Pink, this is such a pretty pink. I used two coats, my stars weren't great. But as the saying goes practice makes perfect.

It is another time for glam nail challenge, the theme for this was frogs.

I used Models Own Pitch Purple. This is such a deep purple and I absolutely love this. It is a hyper gel and the hypergels are one of the models own polish that are so popular. I absolutely love this because it is super glossy and I really love it. I am not sure on the frog if I am honest just because it is a bit funny, it actually stained through the white nail polish which is crazy. But I suppose I tried to do a frog so I am super happy how it turned out.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. Picture Polish - Whimsy - What a pretty polish, I really like the name it is super cute. I haven't seen this picture polish, it is probably out of stock but oh this is really pretty. I need this.

 

2. OPI - Tutti Frutti Tonga - This is a really strange nail polish. It isn't a orange or even a coral, it is more of a peachy shade. It sort of looks like the one from the coca cola collection which I cant remember the name of.

 

3. OPI - Care To Danse? - This is a pretty sheer polish, I have seen swatches and I have to admit I am not sure on this polish. If you ever have the time to look at this polish it is a super sheer polish. I am really not a fan of sheer polishes as I don't feel as if they do anything to your nails.

 

4. OPI - That's Berry Darling - Oh what a beautiful bright pink nail polish this is. I absolutely love my pink nail polishes. I feel like I need a lot more pink nail polishes and maybe I should have a post of all my pink nail polish collection.

 

5. OPI - Pink Before You Leap - I really love this shade, it s so perfect for the autumn. I think this would be perfect with some stamping over the top of it.

So once again I am so far behind on my currently wearing, I actually have 11 posts backed up. This isn't great, I am coming back and going to work super hard on my blog I really promise you all.

This is another glam nail challenge and the theme was dry brush. This is the first time where I actually have created a dry brush, I am so happy that I tried it for the first time. I absolutely love this. I used China Glaze White On White. I also used three random nail polishes to create the dry brush effect, I did watch a few videos ad thought it went pretty well. I used a grey, mint and pink nail polish and I will be trying this is a different effect or on a cool design.

Why Do I Want These Polishes?

1. NYC - Prince Street - This is such a beautiful purple nail polish. I'm not sure if NYC even still do nail polish because there is hardly any on the superdrug website which is kind of strange. But what a deep metallic purple it is.

2. Essie - I'm Addicted - This is such a beautiful blue nail polish, I really love it. I know Essie is so hit and miss as a brand. I absolutely need this. I haven't seen much about this nail polish before so I might have a look at a few reviews.

3. Models Own - Brunette Red - This is a deep redy brown shade. It is super pretty as well. I know this would be absolutely perfect for the autumn months, when the leaves start coming down. That would be super cool.

 

4. OPI - Skating On Thin Ice Land - This is a cool polish, not as bright as the NYC purple though. This is more of a deeper polish for autumn or winter. I really like this and I haven't got many colours in my OPI collection, its pretty dull as well. I really do like this and I just need to get it.

 

5. OPI - Put It In Neutral - This is a classic nude nail polish. I feel this would be absolutely perfect for an interview as it is that pretty shade.

Haul | Base Coats & Colours

I haven't done a haul in a long time. I do have loads to post though so bare with me, this is my most recent one actually.

This isn't from one day I promise. I could happily buy all of this in one day ha-ha. I have AVON Nail Prime Base Coat, I didn't even need a base coat but its great to get back up. Next I have a Makeup Gallery which is Poundland's brand cuticle oil. The next 4 nail polishes are from KIKO. I got all these four polishes for just £1!. Talk about a bargain. I have 670 Orange, this is a mystery polish because it has no name. The next beautiful polish is KIKO Turquoise micro glitter, which just reminds me of something from frozen or mermaids. The next polish is KIKO Metallic pink micro glitter, I really love this one. The next polish is more likely to be my favourite I love this, its KIKO Chartreuse, it is such an ugly but pretty colour. The next lines of polishes are Models Own Bubblegum, BarryM Surfboard which I need to wear so quickly because I absolutely love this colour. I have Makeup Gallery Rainbow Sparkle, which is such a beautiful multi-coloured glitter. I have this gorgeous Collection Touch Of Glamour this is a gorgeous rose gold pink. The last polish is from Nails Inc Mint Bliss, this was a free polish by getting a Wilkinson sword razor.
